If you're just going in for eyebrow waxing or eyebrow threading, you don't even need an appointment. You just walk in, type your name and phone number into the little iPad kiosk, and wait to be called. They are SO quick. I'm talking maybe five minutes per person quick. I've been there several times now, and every single lady I've had has done a great job. It's not just one person in particular. They all seem skilled, friendly, and efficient. It's located in Dilworth in the shopping center with the Harris Teeter. I really like that area because there's plenty of parking and a bunch of other little shops around there too. I've been getting my eyebrows waxed at Idolize Dilworth for over a year now with Marija. She always does an amazing job. Plus, I like the peace and quiet with background relaxation music in her waxing room. It gives off a good vibe. I tried one of the other service providers when she wasn't available at one point because I was long overdue and had a birthday coming up and the difference was night and day. My eyebrows are one of the most precious things to me... I do not trust just anybody to thread them, but I heard through a coworker this was the place to go and she was not wrong! They do such an amazing, quick and thorough job! They're also not out the a** expensive for no reason, like others are around here. Before my eyebrow threading I requested for them to not be too small. At the end I told the technician she made them asymmetrical and too skinny. She continuously denied doing anything wrong and kept saying she just did a clean up- then took me to the register and asked for a tip. The other woman working acknowledged that my eyebrows were not the same size and were already too skinny. She then told the other woman not to charge me for a botched job. I wish the technician who botched my eyebrows before an important event would even acknowledge that she messed up and apologize. The other woman apologized for her. Be careful. read more

The girl who did my lash lift was not good. Looks like one eye is barely lifted, while the other eye doesn't look like it was touched. I even told her my lashes are usually difficult and suggested to use the small rod, but she insisted to use the larger one. She was loud going in and out of the room and clanking around to get her supplies ready. She even used her cellphone alarm clock as a timer, which would be fine, if it wasn't the default loud noise that was placed right next to my head. Definitely not a spa treatment. read more

I stopped in for a threading session. It was probably one of the least painful threadings I've ever had anywhere, so that was wonderful. But, it was also the quickest. It was so quick, I wasn't sure it was over. I like a nice crisp line and for the brows to be trimmed up nicely, but she only did one quick scissor snip on each eye and maybe 3-4 rips of the thread on each. They look decent. Ones a little thinner than the other, but probably not noticeable to anyone other than my own critical eye. Sadly, I wasn't impressed and will continue to return to my usual place. read more

It only took 2 years but I finally found a place that my brows love. Finding the right place to trust with your brows is not an easy feat. Either the place was inconsistent, too expensive or did not offer threading. Idolize has all the attributes that I was looking for when it came to my brows, from knowledge to price. The only thing I didnt like about this location is that their kiosk & check out register are poorly placed. They are both right in front of the entrance so it gives the impression that they are super busy when in fact, its just ladies waiting to sign in or pay their bill. I also find it to be a hazard as I was signing in once and almost got slammed to get out the way. Overall, Idolize is your place for brows and waxing! Definitely recommend. read more

I've been coming to this location ever since they opened up years ago. Since I work real close, it's super convenient for me to get my eyebrows threaded during my lunch break. They work fast and efficiently but do a very great job. I dont like my eyebrows arched, so when I tell them no arch, they leave my eyebrows nice and curved how I like. Every time I go, I always leave satisfied and have no issues with my eyebrows. They used to have a punch card where if you went a certain number of times, then your next service was free. Unfortunately, they took away with that, and now they have a ppints system? I'm not sure how that works because everytime I go, I have "points" accumulated but ecerytime I ask to see if I can use they always respond with "No because you don't have enough or not on this service" I always get different explanations. So maybe that system can be described more in detail by someone who actually knows? Other than that, it's a great location, great service and not expensive like other places. read more

Ila did a great job on my brows. I chose to have my eye brows and upper lip threaded.. it came to $20. Walk ins only for threading services, I waited about 10 minutes since 2 people were ahead of me. This place is very clean and they take your temperature prior to completing any service. They offer you witch hazel for your face when you are all done. read more
