My hair is not damaged so that wasn't a factor since there is no dye or bleach in my hair and my last perm was 2 years ago. The first and second pic are both after the shower, the lighting was different because it was a different house - as you can see my skin even looks different. I paid because, in my experience, the final look isn't until after the 48-72 hr no-wash period. Getting perms are more like the "trust the process" type of service. It's important to note that I have left the salon with worse hair that turned out exceptionally beautiful after the wait period. To add, I am experienced in the aftercare also. I typically clear out the following days and stay home as to not mess with my hair. When I do wash my hair, it is with non-sulfate quality products as to not break down my curls. I've attached a pic of what I looked like when I left. Salon O, please make this right so I can get my hair done by someone who knows what they're doing.

I made an appointment via text with Stephanie, the owner of Hair Plus. It's so convenient having to just travel to Murrieta to a strip mall where the parking is plentiful and stress-free. I met Stephanie a few weeks ago for my first haircut with her. Becasue I was so use to my previous hair stylist knowing how to cut my hair, I've forgotten to remember the clipper numbers she used etc. I knew I was in good hands with Stephanie when she told me she knew what type of style it was and how short. She also asked for my input when she was cutting my hair as far as the shortness on the sides. In all honesty, she really did a better job than my previous hairstylist of eight years! Her many years of being a hair stylist in South Korea and in Orange County shows in her meticulous cutting and shaping of my haircut. I was very pleased with the results as was my wife. I am so happy that Stephanie can continue to cut my hair, and hopefully soon, our youngest son as well.

If you have curly hair, DO NOT come here to get your hair cut. If you know curly hair, you know how traumatic getting a bad cut can be ruining years of growth and hard work into our hair. I'm not even writing this about the stylist, she was very nice just simply doesn't know curly hair well enough. This is about the owner whom argued with me on the phone for 20 minutes when I requested my money back. I have never had to fight with a business owner over a validly incorrectly done service. Reyna was beyond condescending, rude and dismissive. She continued to then claim that I actually now owed her money! She nitpicked the service that I received (a cut/wash and style) and how long the service took (1.5hr) actually makes it that I should've been charged more and actually owe her money now. My curls were beautiful before and I feel extremely humiliated with what I have now, curly hair can be a very emotional subject due to how often we deal with individuals who don't know about shrinkage and shape, how it looks wet is not the same as how it looks once it's dry. It will take a very very long time for this grow out enough to fix, yes hair grows back but it's emotionally damaging having a reminder of something so negative in the mean time. The owner had no regard for this being expressed and only continued to argue with me. She then lies and says that she would give me her personal phone number for me to send the photos of my proof of before and after, to then be sent a phone number that wasn't even hers. The first 2 photos are the before, the rest is what I have now. I've never dealt with someone so beyond unprofessional, please do not support this business. Times are getting tougher for individuals and feeling inclined to save some dollars by going somewhere less expensive should not mean you should have to sacrifice your respect and customer service.
