Worst service, warranty, and communication. Purchased vehicle about 4 months ago everything fine until it was overheating 10/27/25 called asked for my number had me on hold for 2hr to check the status of the warranty I called again and mentioned they had me on hold said sorry the phones aren't working they checked and said yes it's under warranty the vehicle was towed that day. Later I get a call saying it was ready to go. It was just the battery.. WHAT if it was overheating and leaking? The service lady said "oh it's leaking, I'll have them check it again tomorrow ok" The next day I had to call for an update. They said it needed antifreeze so it's ready for pickup. Tuesday afternoon I pick it up and drive it for 10min. I'm on 202 and the dashboard has ENGINE HOT, ENGINE OVERHEATING STOP ENGINE, CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON? I called the dealership and asked if they even checked it!? They had it for 2 days! I had to turn off the vehicle and wait until it cooled down to drive it back. I was given a loaner. Thursday I called for an update, they said they are still trying to figure out the issue. My husband was very upset and remembered he took a picture of the leak and sent it to them. Friday I called and said they found the issue haha what yall clearly didn't find it until my husband sent the picture. They called the warranty company and 24 to 48 hr they will send an adjuster to look at it on Monday or Tuesday. The issue was that the rear heater hose was punctured by the rear faculty bolt. I was not called back to inform me on what was going on, I had to call for updates... Tuesday the adjuster went and Wednesday I called for an update and the lady from service said she has not heard anything yet and I should give the warranty company a call like what I have to do your job now? Fine. So I called since I needed my vehicle for work and they were going to call them soon. Thursday called the dealer and she said again "I haven't heard from them" so do you just sit and wait for them to call you back or call for updates for your clients? I didn't think this was like dealing with an all used dealership. :/ I was back and forth with the warranty company and dealership. Final decision the coverage was DENIED. Because of the weight shit reason. So why did I buy the warranty? I mentioned I wanted to cancel the warranty and they said I could do it over the phone when I picked up the vehicle on Thursday night and took it to a mechanic. Called on Friday to cancel it but they never picked up. Today 11/10/25 I called to cancel the warranty and now I have to take the vehicle to them to do so. When I was told I could do it over the phone y'all just had my vehicle for 2 weeks and nothing was done just go off of the miles it has from the service dept and CANCEL it. read more

Use caution when dealing with this dealership... Although we had purchased elsewhere, we brought our 2022 suburban to Del Chevrolet for a simple warranty and a recall repair. It was there for less than 24 hours but when we picked it up the next night it was clear that there had been people other than dealership employees in all 3 rows of our truck. First we noticed that the name "Keira" had been written in finger smears on the driver side rear passenger side window as well as on the corresponding sail window, and that stars had been drawn around the name, presumably in the condensation on the window from it being cold outside. The rear windows on the sides of the third row seat all the way in the back also had child-size finger smears and markings as a child or children rubbed the window to be able to see out. Our driver's side seat had also been moved and was set up very high and forward, so much that we couldn't enter, the screen that you access our radio had been changed, the heat had been set to 86 degrees on both sides and was blowing at the highest setting, our middle row seats had been folded down and pushed all the way forward, headrests were collapsed down and to top it off, a DEL CHEVROLET rear license plate placard had been added to the back of our truck. None of these areas of our truck were part of the repairs. When we noticed the issues we informed the service manager, Ryan Waller, and he agreed that people and small children must have been in it, then said that he would ask the service director to contact us the next day to discuss. When we hadn't been contacted by the next afternoon we reached out to the dealership and spoke to Ivon Brown who indicated that he hadn't reached out to us because he had been reviewing video footage of the dealership and couldn't find proof that the changes to our car had taken place while it was at their location. Proof? They needed more than their service manager's agreement as well as us telling them that our truck was not this way when we left it and that we hadn't installed the DEL CHEVROLET license place placard on ourselves in order for them to take responsibility for it happening on their watch? We were expecting a simple apology and agreement that this is unacceptable, some assurance that it wouldn't happen again and an offer to undo the changes and mess that had been made to our truck while they had it. Nope. After almost a week of back and forth and us explaining that our truck wasn't in this condition when we left it, but it was when we picked it up 24 hours later and that we've never had a small child in the car (or even know one named "Keira") he continued to insist that without video footage providing a definite cause, they couldn't be sure that they were "guilty" but that they would detail our truck as a goodwill gesture. Based on the general disregard toward us and our concerns, their treatment of our car, and the bizarre liberties that they took with it while it was in their care the first time, we aren't bringing it back there to give them another chance to do whatever they want to it and then refuse to acknowledge it. They're super weird, shady and dismissive. Make sure you know that before you choose to give them your business. In search of a 4Runner that was within budgetary needs I went out using the normal website automotive sites. My search stumbles into a 1 owner 2018 SR5 Premium Edition with 54,000 miles for a very fair price of just 34k. Low price for this model so I was hesitant. They do hold their value and are dependable as a Toyota should. The pictures along with the description looked very nice, showing a 1 owner, 1 minor accident Car-Fax, minor front showing the car was at the dealership for some time last reported at 50,414 miles. The price was reduced a few times as the truck sat at the dealership. 50,414 miles 179 days ago. 54,422 at delivery. Rotors shaved twice in 179 days - Truck shakes terribly at 60+ Transparency and I would have paid to replace. (The website advertisement showed 4k miles more in writing. Sometimes Employees use traded cars for their personal transportation to and from work. ok. I know that all well. I worked at two different Dealerships in NJ) Red Flag folks, but I pressed on. 1 owner that seem to follow Toyota's 10k miles free it's for me program just trapped at a GM dealership. No maintenance documented on the Carfax after 37k to write home about. No Dealership initial safety check, normal dealer log of safety checking or what they normally do showing on the Carfax so they can charge the Sales department. Sometimes the service department charges the Sales Department internally crazy high items that for the most part, should be performed anyway by law to place a car on the road safely. Just me. The Dealership's GM makes money on all aspects of the Dealership. Sales/Service and Parts... All goes upstairs.... My 2021 Camry TRD with 10,343 miles was appraised and that number was fair. Fair 4Runner and Fair-trade number. I didn't want to be a creep even though some of the retail prices for a 21 Camry TRD are crazy right now. I give people the opportunity to be down-right. No different color or race. The Sales professional that assisted me follow the marching orders of the tower but was a wonderful person to deal with. Not an issue with that aspect of the DEAL... Holy @#%^... - the wobble begins and forget about emergency braking. Please don't drive in front of me for a while.) When I asked about the difference in the pictures taken 150+ days ago, why did the speedometer show 50,414 and now 54,444... (It's a good truck.., , You'll love it..) Not that the GM didn't have a brand new TRD Pro 4Runner parked outside and might have used and abused the Truck for a few months on the Schuylkill. ) That Red Flag... Just be transparent and let the consumer know the truth. If I tell one of my customers that their solution that I architect is going to protect them from ransomware, then it should not come with undisclosed nuances. I see them daily, weekly, monthly... I have to build a relationship. Let's face it, dealers are measured by days, weeks, months, quarters. Not really interested in relationships unless there is profit also. Maximize our profits at every turn and transaction. Transparency is not part of the show. Well, I have a decent looking truck with 54,555 miles with a cracked windshield and a total brake job needed. Hopefully here in NJ, it will fail inspection. I can live with the oil wasn't changed since 50,414 and was delivered to a customer with brown oil. Turnersville Toyota can help me. Very deceptive and unethical sales. When buying my new truck I was told that I would receive free inspections. That's not the case. Not only have I had to pay for inspections, the trucks inspections were 5 months old the day I drove it off the lot. When the vehicle was 7 months old, the inspection expired. I didn't think much of it since inspections were supposedly free. But when I was charged for it I pointed out the issue that my brand new car came with a 5 month old inspection. The service guy recognized the issue and agreed with me but I was still charged and management refused to make the situation right. I was also told that I received 2 years and 24,000 miles of maintenance with a new vehicle. Yesterday (while in for my 3rd oil change since new) I was told that that actually only covered two oil changes. If this is the case then they need to change their wording to say you get "Two Free Oil Changes" not "2 years/24,000 miles of maintenance". 2 years/24,000 of maintenance is very different than 2 free oil changes. This is deceptive and unethical. I bought a $52,000 vehicle and they pissed away a customer over a $40 inspection and a $50 oil change. They are too stupid to recognize this. I've reached out to management in the past to address my concerns about this but have not received a response. read more

Worst dealership ever, never met such rude dealership manager. We were told that we can use their charging station when they tried to sell their EV to us, and that's one of the main reasons we purchased the car as we live close by. After a few weeks, when we were charging at their station, they started to unplug the charger and the dealership manager told us that our car will be towed if we leave it charging. Also, they have intended to occupy the charging station with their new EVs so that no one could actually use it. A total fraud. Also, no registration after two months of purchase. read more

I should've known better to give these guys another try. Yes, they have a shuttle service that but they neglect to tell you that it's not available after 4 PM, even after they confirmed that I could get a ride back to pick up my car. This means that I had no shuttle service back to the dealership to have me pick up my car, which left me stranded at work. I wish the communication was just a little bit more clear. I was told "I really don't know what to tell you". Zero customer service!!!! Extremely disappointed in the lack of communication and empathy by their customer service department. What initially started as a nice experience became a nightmare after I bought a car from Del Chevrolet. It was near closing on Friday night and I now realize after I signed the deal they wanted me out the door as quickly as possible. They only had one key after I insisted I wasn't buying the car without the second key, they relented but it turned out to be a false promisee. Sales manager Vinny Giancatterino promised me that someone would call me the next day (Saturday), that never happened. I spoke to him on Monday, he said he would address it immediately; its now Thursday and still no call. The salesman, John, promised to sync my phone to the car. When he was not successful, he said he couldn't help me. I was furious and said I wanted to cancel the deal. I followed him into the showroom and he was out of sight but I could hear him talking to several coworkers. They were laughing at my situation and one said loudly, "Is he crazy?" It wasn't untilI climbed in the back seat a few days after the sale I realized how dirty the seats were. The exterior was washed after I bought the car but the interior was definitely overlooked. My 89 year old mother has a 2016 Chevy Cruze. At 20,000 miles she took it in for service and was told there was a broken piston in the engine. 4,500 dollars later she got her car back. The vehicle has had perfect maintenance and very limited miles. For a piston to break means it had a defect, probably at the point of manufacture. For Dell Chevrolet to charge that kind of fee for a manufacturing error means they really don't care about their customers or they pray on the elderly. I had already test driven the same vehicle and wanted to buy this car. I found them online, they didn't have to do any work at all - it was found money. I was even denied a courtesy pick up and was forced to spend $28 on a Lyft ride to pick up my car up from their unsecured lot. I even asked for a rental car; denied by "Joe." I was also staulked and harrassed by the owner and wife, Jack Del (videotaped my license plate and me while I was charging my car after hours at their Paoli site). Went to Dell Chevrolet because they had the truck we needed and the salesman said that we would be able to negotiate the purchase price of the vehicle that we were looking at for a business. We drove over one hour, out of state, to get to the dealership and then the same salesman then told us, when we arrived, that the price was the price. NOT very professional. We walked and then decided to try again a week later. We went back and dealt with a different salesman and purchased the truck as a business owned work truck. It has been over THREE months and still no registration. Make no mistake, this has NOTHING to do with back ups at Motor Vehicle because of the pandemic. Have called numerous times and are given the typical lip service and the excuse, "That's not in my Department". All they seem to do is tell you what they think you want to hear, hang up and then forget about your issue and hope it will just go away. This has nothing to do with the Salesman, although he has told us that he responded numerous times, but seems to use an email that we never gave to Del. All one needs to do is check the Dealership paperwork. It's written within the documentation numerous times. In order to get a registration for a vehicle, you present a title, have it re-titled in your name OR in the financing banks name, then get it registered. We paid to have Del do all of the paperwork, as do a lot of people, but after three months still no registration. We don't even know if the title was put in the bank's name! Again, this is a COMPANY truck and three payments have been made on it and it cannot be driven, let alone used for company business. Now we needed a second company truck, purchased it in New Jersey and had the Registration and tags within 10 days! Has Del NEVER titled a work truck? Do they know how to register an out-of-state vehicle? Del answered "Yes" to both of those questions, but then WHY can't we get registration and tags from them???? You know the Del commercial? "Jack, sell them for less". They sure do, less titles, less registrations, less tags, etc. . . . Being the Fourth of July weekend and having a sons birthday to get ready for , I thought that maybe there's a deal out to buy a new truck and get a payment to what I am paying on a truck I was going to trade. Well I had spoke to many different dealerships because once you put your contact info on a site , you get flooded with phone calls. I was right to the point and come on face it , none of us have time to play games. I was promised (I have it in writing on my texts between the employee and myself) that my payments would be the same on the truck they had sent me the info on. So I made a time to come in today being July 3 and come to find out they want to give me 4K less of what my trade in is worth and the payments all of a sudden jacked up to $200.00 more a month! Bought a 2012 Chrysler 300s. They promised it was inspected and safe. Drove 3 hours home and brought to my mechanic. It needed 1300 worth of work and they said it was very unsafe. Del refused to even help or return calls. Buy elsewhere. Terrible service and lied to me The response is to act like they care. While on the phone yesterday with one manager, he had me on speakerphone discussing the truck (that they have not had towed down here to be fixed with only 400 miles on it) in front of another manager. I have been going here for years and finally decided to post a review. The service staff is rude and condescending. Also, they are very expensive and find ways to squeeze every last penny out of you. I booked an appt and showed up at 9am to drop off my car and the head serviceman scoffed at me saying how late in the day it is. I went in to look at a truck. The people tried to sell me the truck with an engine that was knocking and they knew it. When I when out to see it after they pulled it around, it was already running which was shady. And right away my mechanic knew the engine was shot and so did the salesman otherwise his face wouldn't have lit up. Being very frustrated that an hour of my only day off was wasted i patiently left. As I was walking out the door the sales person called for me across the dealership and came to me saying "well how much would you pay for it." He was desperate and cut the price in half. Promised to run it through the shop and fix all major problems. Very rude management! We had to come back several times for service issues with a brand new truck that we bought from them. First, we wanted the folding tow mirrors and high idle put on which they agreed to do during the purchase. They put the mirrors and high idle on incorrectly and when my husband went to get it fixed they said how high idle is not a thing and that tow mirrors on Chevys never folded in and he doesn't know what he is talking about. My husband then showed them on a different truck on the lot that both of these options do come in Chevys. It was a small issue, but it took us several trips to the dealership to get resolved. We also had to bring the truck in 3 separate times for it shaking at high speeds. The first 2 times the problem was not resolved so my husband changed the rims thinking maybe they were faulty. When we brought it back the third time they said the problem was due to the new rims and that they won't work on it, even though there is documentation for the same exact problem before the new rims. They again acted like we were dumb and when I explained that there is an ongoing problem of them blaming the customer the owner responded with "well we obviously aren't as good of mechanics as your husband", very rude and immature. It's unfortunate because all the sales people are very nice but the management is horrible. read more

Looking for a used car? This is the LAST place you should look. Sold me a 2002 chevy trailblazer in March, it is now the end of August and I've put nearly $3,000 dollars into this vehicle. Within a week of purchasing the vehicle, the back hatch window shattered in my hand due to a bad lift bar that should've easily been caught during the mechianics inspection (we'll get back to that in a minute). Immediately after I discover black electrical tape over the check engine light (which I will be researching the legality regarding that) that was on for a bad cam sensor (which could've left me stranded at any point) Finally now it begins leaking power steering fluid. My mechanic while in their fixing it discovered that this "accredited dealership" had halfass bandaged the issue and several other bad hoses before selling it. The the kicker. After writing a similar review on facebook, their sales manager has the nerve to call my house and read the company line, but stupidly let's it slip that the machanics inspection that our salesman said was done, was indeed never done. Forget if the vehicle is safe or not right? The lies and deceit by this place have continued to mount, and Chevrolet should be embarrassed to call this joint an accredited dealership. This place is everything that's wrong with car sales. Stay far, far away. read more
