Long story, but I went to JL in Paoli to get my oil changed. Went in, and all the employees I saw were teenagers goofing around. I get my oil changed and go about my business. I start to notice oil leaking from my car onto the ground where I park my car at my house. One of my tires needed to be replaced, so I went to my local mechanic, and he said that I have an oil leak and he can put some fluid in to see where it was leaking from. After all that, it ended up that the oil filter wasn't tight enough. There goes $125.00. Jiffy Lube last changed my oil. Since the mechanic determined that the oil filter wasn't tight enough, it naturally must have been JL. I had my oil changed last week, and still no issues. Also. My son just got a message on his dashboard about no oil pressure and engine off. We took it to a mechanic, and he said the car had an oil leak, and after investigating, he determined that the oil filter was not on tight enough. I already knew the answer, but I asked where he got it changed at and he said JL in Paoli. We got the issue fixed at the mechanic and went to JL, and the counter person was very rude when the issue was explained, and we asked for a refund. The mechanic made notes on the paperwork after we got the issue fixed. The JL employee snatched the receipts and said he was going to make copies without even asking. He said we were not getting a refund. We got the receipts back, and my son is reversing the charges with his bank. This was a huge hassle, and my sons car could have died from driving with no oil. This JL is rude and unprofessional. Avoid at all costs. read more

when I arrived 10/13/23 it was just after 3pm. I understood it would be a busy time so I asked the attendant how long of a wait. He said 25 minutes. There was 4 people ahead of me. I waited for one hour and forty minutes. The staff were rude, seemed like I was bugging them and refused to answer any questions. The child ringing me up mumbled as he spoke. Just went in for an oil change now when I came in, there was nobody there that they were working on... I had a Ford bronco brand new... I felt it was taking a long time looking through the window. I saw the one mechanic holding a bolt in his hand, my hood was down. The other guy was in the car looking. I guess checking the panel to reset the oil they kept looking at the front of the car when they got out and I asked is anything wrong? The one guy I don't know if he was the manager who was helping out said they dread Ford Broncos coming in because the skid plate has 40 bolts on it they have to undo... I asked him if the bolt that the mechanic was holding in his hand, was my bolt that needs to go back in, and he didn't answer me... I looked up how many bolts were on a skid plate for 2024 for Bronco and it's 12 not 40 why would you tell me this? This leaves me very concerned... In two weeks I have an appointment at Ford to make sure the bolts and everything is correct on that skid plate... I will not be coming back to Jiffy Lube read more

Had oil change and told them my car had all the maintenance it needed to include a 30,000 mile check. I stated at least 2 times that I only needed and wanted oil change. Everyone was very polite and friendly, however they suggested at least 4 things that my car might need to include 2 filter replacement and they showed me the filters they say they removed from my car and they were clean and looked new! Plus selling customers breeds a lack of trust, so if you go here prepare to be up sold and know exactly what your car needs.....After reading the reviews online I knew they had this reputation so I was prepared. However, you would think they would change their behavior based on reviews.....Also the synthetic oil was much more expensive than my regular mechanic and the only reason I went here, was my mechanic was busy and I was going on a trip. Based on the response I decreased my review to one star.....most of the reviews on here reference your propensity to up sell and even lie to customers by showing them filters that are not theirs.....seems you OK with this......but I am not.....never again..... read more

I had a basic (el cheapo) oil change over my lunch break. I was told it would take 45 minutes (there were a few cars ahead of mine) but it actually took about 70 minutes. 2 words. NEVER again. Took my car in for a simple oil change. Did not leave with my car, as it had to be towed to Mercedes. The technician spilled oil on the belt, which then came off. They could not get it back on. 2 hours later...and I'm told that i need to get a rental. At 7:30 on a Friday night. And then I'm told that they will only cover $35/day for a rental. So they break my car, and then I have to foot any excess bill, including uber costs to and from the car rental place and the car dealership. It is completely unacceptable. Completely. And then I need to foot the bill and seek reimbursement. Not feeling super confident that I'll get any of my money back. I have never experienced any like this in my entire life. Ever. read more

Came by this location on 1/12 at 445pm. The workers said they just used the last toyota filter and wouldn't be able to complete an oil change that day. They said I can come in first thing tomorrow morning (a Sunday) and they would be able to complete the service because they will receive a part shipment in the morning. Pull up to center on Sunday afternoon to discover they are closed on Sundays. With a name like Jiffy Lube you expect fast service, however with speed you often sacrifice quality - that is not the case here! I arrived at 7:45, 15 minutes before they opened and a team of mechanics greeted me readily. Lennie helped me from my car as it was still icy and they were just starting to salt - his assistance was welcome as I almost fell twice! My pre-opening arrival did not stop the mechanics from getting started! They pulled the car in and all three staff members got to work (At 90,000 miles there was quite a bit to be done!) Like the previous reviewer, it was nice not to feel intimidated in an auto repair shop! As a woman this happens all too frequently! I love cars and know my way around them so it would be easy to tell if I was being duped! Lennie was not pushy to make a sale. He told me exactly what I needed to do now, and recommended repairs to address in the near future. He even pointed out a flaw in the frame of my vehicle that could be a safety concern - I will definitely have that addressed and was so grateful that he noticed! He fixed a problem in my transfer case that had stumped two other mechanics in the past and all in less than an hour! So thanks Lennie, and I still owe you a coffee from Dunkin Donuts! read more

The staff is fast and friendly. I am sure they are fine on oil changes. However do not trust this location to properly do the A/C service. I started with cool air coming out of my A/C and left with hot air blowing. Found out afterwards the machine they hook up knows the job, but the staff have no idea. So if the staff make a mistake or if the machine is broken... you are screwed. I ended up paying Jiffy Lube $40 to blow my freon into the parking lot. Ended up having to go to a real mechanic to refill it. $40 + $70 (mechanic fee)... and am in the same situation I was in when I went there to begin with. read more

When I pulled into the parking lot the manager greeted me as I was exiting my car, took my keys and escorted me to the waiting area (sidenote: it was so clean, good reading material and these soft leather chairs, so relaxing) The only down side was the jiffy lube I was up and out of my chair in no time-- they cleaned my windows, topped off my fluids, vacuumed, and naturally changed my oil oh and they accepted the coupon I didn't bring with me (ooops). Absolutely never again! Went for a quick oil change. Then underwent significant high pressure sales push to add on other services. Agreed to a cabin air filter change. After seeing the $49.99 charge I checked the internet and found the filters cost $8-$9. I called to question the 500% margin and got a rude "That's what we charge." Went in for oil change and balance air in tires, 2 hrs and $301 later. Said need new brakes when it passed inspection 7 months earlier. ONLY NOW do they squeak!! I have been to this Jiffy Lube probably about five times at this point (my most recent being today) and I have yet to have a bad experience. They are always incredibly friendly, quick, and informative. Everything that is done to my car is explained to me in detail (and in a way that makes it easy to understand). They always give me recommendations for my car but are never pushy about having them done that day. I will never get my oil changed anywhere else at this point. COMPLETE INCOMPETENCE. DO NOT GO HERE. Here's the true and absurd story of how bad and ultimately dangerous this place is: brought car in for simple oil change and oil filter change. A couple days later, just before a planned 2 hour drive on the highway, luckily I notice large oil stains in the driveway under the car. Check dip stick- totally dry. Clearly, all the oil has leaked out. So I put in a quart and prayed it was safe to drive back to the Jiffy Lube for them to see what mistake they made and fix it. They check everything, they say- all is good they say. Caps on. Filters in correctly. The leak, they tell me, is coming from the Turbo - an area they don't go near- something about the oil passes through the turbo system and that is where the leak is. I say-"seems like quite a coincidence that my turbo would start leaking RIGHT AFTER having an oil change by you guys." The manager insisted everything they did was fine- "it must be a coincidence." They checked it all- everything was right and fine with the job they did, they said. Its the Turbo. Our work was all perfect. So the car continues to leak oil, and I get it TOWED ( because clearly it wasn't safe to drive a car that was spilling oil as the engine could seize up) from Jiffy Lube to the Volvo dealer down the street. And guess what? One look from the Volvo mechanic showed that The oil filter that they had installed at Jiffy Lube...just wasnt screwed in tightly! That was it. That was the whole issue. Took the Volvo guy 10 seconds to figure that out. Which means the geniuses at Jiffy Lube not only didnt screw it in correctly the first time, or quality control it before it left, they also lied or didn't do it right the SECOND time either! Knowing that oil was spilling out! Unreal. Pathetic. They also apparently didn't know what side of the car the oil filter was on!Wasted my entire day with this place. Could have seized up my engine on the turnpike and ruined the car. They literally have ONE JOb- do an oil change correctly. And they botched it. Twice. Unbelievable. read more

Went here March of 2016 for an oil change and they told me I needed my transmission fluid replaced (which was true). They charged me for it but never did it. Unfortunately I was only in town for the weekend and didn't realize they hadn't changed it until I was 8 hours away. Luckily another Jiffy Lube near me changed the transmission fluid without charging me. Hard to know whether this was an honest mistake or they were intentionally scamming me but either way, they charged me almost $300 for something they didn't do. read more

I have been to this location about a dozen times. Service has been very consistent. They do offer additional services to up sell you a bit but have never really "pushed" to hard. They do point out the recommended services from the manufacturer so it's at least informative. They clean the windows and vacuum which is a nice plus. No complaints. read more
