Don't miss Oscar's Mexican Seafood nearby--the ceviche and fish tacos were some of the best we've had in San Diego. A few tips for future guests: bring your favorite coffee, your own pillow if you're particular, and a small broom for brushing away beach sand. Highly recommend for a relaxing San Diego beach vacation! Can't wait to go back!

Sandi has never seen or met me in person-and I have not paid her a dime for her help. I suffered an accident while very pregnant with our second child. Fortunately, our unborn (now healthy newborn!) is completely fine-but I have not been able to walk for almost 4 months now and suffered 1st and 2nd degree burns on my body. Out of nowhere, we were told that we must move to another unit-as our current landlord had been discharged from his military service much earlier than expected. We are genuinely happy for our landlord to return home safely-but the timing was extremely stressful. I have a toddler and couldn't take care of myself-let alone her completely; and was very pregnant and still can't walk. Our housing search was beyond stressful and exhausting. Most of our housing applications were never even opened or viewed. I can't count how many rentals we looked into/agents and owners we contacted in the past several months. I emailed Sandi and told her our situation-and explained that she was recommended by a church priest who knows a friend of ours (also an Episcopalian priest. My husband is actually a seminarian and former minister, and we have not lived in SD county very long). Sandi immediately moved into action-going above and beyond in sending us rentals, giving us feedback, moral support, and was incredibly compassionate, caring, genuine, and wonderful throughout my very high risk pregnancy and offered constant support for our housing search. I cannot thank her enough. She has never asked for one penny from me. She just helped us repeatedly without any desire or request for monetary compensation, recognition, or anything else-she just wanted to help us from her own good will and spirit. I can only say that she was an angel to me and our family through a very trying time, and I am grateful to have crossed paths with her (even virtually) and receive her boundless insights and professional expertise regarding the SD county housing market. I stayed in a house maintained by Haustay recently in Encinitas. My review is mixed because the…read morehouse was not well maintained but the house itself was nice. The basic like linens and towels were clean, but it seemed like the house had not had a deep cleaning in a long time. Seating cushions were stained and when I lifted them up, there was bits of food underneath from some previous guest. The bathroom in the room I stayed in had some issues where some fixtures were misinstalled or needed service and sprayed were you don't want them spraying. And the A/C in the master bath was broken when I arrived. There was a note saying they were aware it was broken, but no one came by to fix it during my stay. The fan in the room was not adequate to cool the room in the afternoon. And the type of breakage of the A/C (apparently it leaked water) suggests it was not regularly maintained (eg the condensate drainage lines were not maintained and clogged). I will say on the positive side, the house had a beefy EV charger, which was super handy. EDIT: Msg to Haustay - I stayed as a guest on someone else's reservation. Airbnb knew about it (I have the emails). No idea why you don't.

I am always contacted prior to repairs and purchases for approval. The management portal system the company uses to track expenses and income is easy to access and there are several reports you can generate at the end of the year for easy tax filing purposes. They charge the typical 10% of the rent, which is definitely worth it as they make sure the place remains rented with quality tenants who pay their rent on time. They are also extremely responsive to the tenants. I am thankful I have them as my property manager and would highly recommend them if you have a property anywhere in north county.
