We had a wonderful family stay at Sea Cliff #16 and would absolutely stay here again. The location is directly across the beach path from beautiful Law Street Beach, with the San Diego Surf School just steps away. Bike rentals nearby, great cafés (Drift) , restaurants (Oscar's), and the boardwalk are all within easy walking distance. The condo was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The beds were especially comfortable, and we appreciated the beach gear (2 beach chairs, umbrella, 2 boogie boards), private patio, and we locked our bikes on patio overnight. Don't miss Oscar's Mexican Seafood nearby--the ceviche and fish tacos were some of the best we've had in San Diego. A few tips for future guests: bring your favorite coffee, your own pillow if you're particular, and a small broom for brushing away beach sand. I would not recommend this property or rental company. From the moment we arrived, the neighbors seemed unhappy that the house was being rented as an Airbnb, which made us feel uncomfortable. When we entered the home, there was a strong gas smell that was concerning enough for us to open all the windows and check around the house. The home was not clean. There was dust, spider webs, hair on several blankets, and one bathroom had an unknown substance dripping down the walls. The showers took a long time to get warm, and when we filled the indoor hot tub, black particles came out into the water. We also had issues with the dryer, which did not work properly and had to be restarted two to three times before our clothes would fully dry. The pool was also very dirty and full of trash. We spent over an hour removing debris ourselves just to make it usable. Overall, the property appeared poorly maintained and did not meet our expectations. Based on our experience, I would not stay here again or use this rental company in the future. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE AND DO NOT BOOK AT ANY OF THE PROPERTIES OWNED AND MANAGED BY THESE PEOPLE. I had stayed in Solana Beach owned and managed by this company. More than 2 weeks after I checked out they sent me a bill for over $600 claiming that the kitchen sink of the downstairs unit directly below the unit where I was staying had a clogged drain pipe. They claimed that I must've shoved rice in the kitchen drain that caused the damage. This was utter nonsense because I was there with my son to attend a soccer tournament and I never cooked and we always ate out. One indisputable fact that they keep ignoring is a plumber was sent to my unit to inspect the kitchen drain and he found NO issue or that I had shoved some rice into the drain. I provided extensive statements and evidence to this effect and they have provided zero evidence to establish liability on my part other than to provide pictures of the downstairs kitchen drain with rice, NOT the drain of the kitchen where I was staying. These guys are unscrupulous and unethical. Do not give them your business because they will screw you over. read more

We booked this home for our family of 6 adults and 4 children. This house was perfect for us! Beautiful and spacious! The kitchen is huge and well appointed. The downstairs has a fantastic set up for a family with kids with the living area, kitchenette, double showers and water closets in one bathroom. The outdoor shower is wonderful bonus...large, clean and right outside the bathroom door. The location and proximity to the beach and playground, the coaster and coffee shops and restaurants is great! We had a wonderful stay! The only thing I would suggest is that they provide more towels fort the bathrooms (wash, hand and bath). There was literally only one bath towel per person and no washcloths. However, they did provide beach towels, but we brought our own. read more

We absolutely loved our family vacation at this beautiful condo. It was perfect in every way. I am a chef so the kitchen was fully stocked with all utensils, cookware and appliances to create a great meal. We only went out for dinner twice so we could stay in and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Vacation rentals by Kimberly was the worst experience I've had with Air B&B. The home was extremely dirty, with dandruff and hair left on all pillows and beds. We were greeted with dirty moldy smelling towels. The water in the showers were very unfiltered with residue left all around the bath tub. The pool had extreme levels of chlorine and caused a reaction to my skin. 100% would not waste my money with Kimberly. We stayed at Vacation Rental by Kimberly in Oceanside and loved it! The home was spacious, airy, and in a great location. We were able to walk to the beach, restaurants, coffee shops, and shops. The front yard was set up for us to have our morning coffee and smell the salty air and also BBQ in the evening. The video arcades and foosball in the home were a hit as they brought out our competitive spirits. The bedrooms were large and provided privacy and peace. We loved having snacks, breakfast, and just family conversations around the island in the kitchen. This was by far one of our favorite stays. We left feeling rested and refreshed. We stayed in the Tranquility house in La Jolla. What a beautiful home! And so well stocked! The kitchen supplies were the best I've ever experienced in a vacation rental. The beds were very comfy and we had plenty of towels and blankets. Comfy couches. We were in town for our sons wedding so we didn't use the backyard but it was a lovely view. This house is less than 10 minutes walk to La Jolla Shores village and the beach. Kimberly's team checked in on us to make sure we were happy. Renting this beautiful penthouse was a last-minute change for us. This property was excellent. Very clean, and the most well stocked kitchen in a rental that we've ever experienced. High quality appliances, all Clad pans, and every utensil & tool you would ever need. We didn't use the outdoor kitchen, but it was also very complete. The pool was nice, the beds were very comfortable. We would absolutely rent this place again. Great outdoor space with fruit trees! The pool was a bit too cold during our visit, but the kids loved going back and forth between the hot tub. A few small quirks (loose couch sectionals -we clipped together,water drip from the solar heater, non working game machine -we fixed, a loose side table top, and some missing toiletries), but everything was clean and comfortable overall. The pre-check-in process was more detailed than expected with several forms and a phone call before the house code could be released; though it all worked out fine.
