Finally at 44 years old it was time to get my first eye exam and I was really scared. I had no idea what it would be like and was fortunate enough to meet Dr. Fasciani. He is super knowledgeable, very friendly and was so patient with the tons of questions I had as he walked me through the exam. The office staff is also so nice and their customer service is excellent! They also took the time to assist me with finding a fashionable frame for my new glasses. I have since returned for another annual exam and feel so lucky that I found this office for all my future eye care needs! I highly recommend and will go nowhere else. read more

They were replacing the lenses for my wife's existing glasses (that she had bought from them a few years back and had only used a handful of times). Their lab broke them, and are not taking any reasonability for it. Direct messages from them below "Good morning, unfortunately the lab broke your frame while mounting the lenses, do you have another frame you would like us to send to the lab" "Unfortunately the lab is not held responsible for older frames. We could give you a 20% discount towards a new frame" Shocking attitude for a small business towards someone who has been multi-year multi thousand dollar customer. read more

This is the second pair of lenses that have begun to disintegrate since the new doctors have taken over. They switch to a new lens manufacturer. These lenses cost $600 and they will not replace Them They are a few months past the two-year warranty. I have another pair of sunglasses that I've had for five years that were manufactured by the previous lens manufacture and I have not had a problem. It's disappointing that the doctors that now are running the practice do not stand by their product. I have switched to Costco, which is about a third of the price. My suggestion is to take your prescription and get it filled elsewhere. read more

I've been to Del Mar Optometrics a few times this past year for contacts and glasses, and the employees and the doctors are all super friendly. I've only met Dr. Graham since I had Dr. Fasciani do my eye exam when I went in. Dr. Fasciani took time to explain everything about my astigmatism and other eye problems (which my previous asian optometrist never did). I wasn't used to actually talking to an optometrist since the old place I used to go to would just be a 10 minute exam. And I got a rocking pair of glasses that actually fit my face! What a great Optimetrics office! The ladies at the front desk are super sweet! They make you feel welcomed and are also helpful with insurance questions and prices of contacts/glasses. Dr. Fasciani is great! Very knowledgeable and goes the extra mile to make sure you're comfortable with your contacts or glasses. My last contacts were painful and he fitted me for new ones and offered a second prescription to try out for a week. To my surprise, the 2nd prescriptions were more comfortable! She knows about every frame in the office, the quality of each, how well it will fit and look on the patient (and she's HONEST about that). She's lots of fun to talk to and is devoted to the practice. Between these two, I've been well served these many years. There are newer people in the office now: a second doctor, other assistants. Although I have not seen the other doctor, I know other people rave about him, too. Last week I went in to have my one and only pair of prescription sunglasses repaired. They had to be sent back to Polo, and I was told it would take a week to ten days. Imagine my surprise when they were back to me in just under a week! I love Del Mar Optometrics. Both doctors are very friendly and knowledgable, and the staff is great. I have sensitive eyes and a fairly strong contact prescription, and they carefully fit me for new contacts last year and made sure they were comfortable before they ordered. Now I've gone back after having no issues for a year and reordered! They also have a cool imaging system to see early issues with the eye, which is important to me as I have family history of eye problems.
