For the last two months she has been bringing my dry cleaning here, they remember her, have great customer service and were very nice to deal with. Usually, we just drop off my shirts and slacks, and since I'm a guy, my white shirts always have weird stains from soups, sandwiches, and sometimes birthday cake ice cream. I always get my stuff back well creased and clean with stains removed. I haven't done anything crazy like linen or leather, but the people here are nice and friendly, and were completely up front. The suit was returned LATE, the collar shirt was RUINED & NEVER RETURNED, & I wasn't even contacted regarding my suit or shirts condition until I came in to investigate; I was completely left out of the loop regarding MY clothing. This place is horrible & should be shut down immediately. I am currently out of a perfectly good Jos. A. Bank collar shirt thanks to this place. I brought a dry cleaning order to Del Nero in early December, which included a custom-made dress from my rehearsal dinner. My dress featured a large silk bow. During the cleaning process, the bow was unnecessarily removed and misplaced. When I picked up the dress from Del Nero, it still had a stain and was missing the bow. After a few days, the dry cleaner located the bow, and after some back and forth about my disappointment stated the owner would not be willing to assume the cost of having the dress sent off to the designer for repair, but assured me they could properly re-clean the dress and have their seamstress restore it to its original state. I provided several reference photos and requested they contact me with any questions. I received no communication. In mid-January, after the holidays, I realized I had never been contacted about my dress. When I reached out, the receptionist claimed she had left a voicemail, but I had no record of it. Upon retrieving my dress, I found that the stain was still present, the bow was reattached incorrectly, and a safety pin with cardboard tag had been put through the silk, putting holes in the fragile fabric. I was not offered a refund, and my dress was returned in worse condition than when I brought it in. Based on this experience, I will not be returning to Del Nero. read more

Very rude old white woman works there. Didn't ever clean my clothes properly. Dropped them off asking to get rid of the smell and wash again. Instead she calls me family to tell them my clothes smell like cat piss. Tried to convince me she cleaned them already and that some imaginary cat peed on the clothes? Today was my last straw with this place, I've only continued going to them because they are the only place close by but at this point I'm willing to go out of my way to avoid them. The older woman that is always there is negligible of everything & has a very poor attitude. In the past she spilled red sauce (from her lunch that she was eating at the counter) on my dress during drop off & would have done nothing if I hadn't complained- they cleaned it for free but it was returned with a huge stain that they couldn't get out from her spill & weren't even willing to discuss although I took a picture at the incident. I've also called her out TWICE for leaving a pen on other people's clothes that no doubt resulted in an ink bleed. Today she mocked me for asking a simple question- their computers were down & I asked if I should come back later today or tomorrow which was followed by a brute & disrespectful snarl from her. No. Just no. I have done business with Del Nero for decades. Literally nearly 30 years dropping off piles of clothes and bedding at any given time. Back then, it was independently owned and operated. Over the years, occasionally they would lose a piece of clothing or, it would turn up mysteriously months later. Lately, it has gotten worse. I dropped off 3 duvet covers and a handful of pillow shams three weeks ago. In exchange, I picked up the last order of multiple duvet covers and shams, not realizing it wasn't all there. More about that later. I went today to pick up the first order only to noticeably come away with less than half the order. One of three duvet covers and all of the pillow shams were inexplicably missing. Michelle, the manager, kept insisting that I must have already picked them up, even though the last time I was there was the same day that I dropped it all off. They could not have possibly been ready the same day. All she could do was shrug and I had no choice but to leave without all of my things. 20 minutes after I left, she called to say she found the missing items. Overjoyed, I went back to pick it up only to realize that what she was giving me was part of an older order that had been tagged for another customer, picked up by that customer, an honest customer, who had them returned the items that weren't theirs -- nearly $1,000 worth of high end bedding that was mistagged and given to them. Having received them back, they now had no idea who the linens actually belonged to and put them in an unclaimed status in the store. Fortunately, Michelle eventually realized that they were likely mine and called me. Otherwise, I would have lost hundreds of dollars worth of bedding on this order. In the meantime, the original order in question has still not been found. I have no idea what has happened to this once venerable and reputable dry cleaner. But I can't do business with them anymore. Do yourself a favor - find an independently owned dry cleaner. Once a Delken buys them out, it just goes south. The personal service is gone, the accountability is gone, along with the care of your things. read more

Been going here for years. But then they switched to a sticker that MELTS into your clothing labels and therefore RUINS them. So disappointed because they have been great but I just got the wool wrap from Brooks Brothers and couldn't figure out why the label looked weird getting my item back. Well it's effectively melted into the stitched back of my wool shawl. Same for my J crew merino blazer. Also my cashier Lilly Pulitzer. I only take the items I really want to be taken care of to the dry cleaner. You never stated something would be PERMANENTLY AFFIXED TO MY CLOTHES!!! I specifically chose this place because I needed a rush dry cleaning job done on my uniform pants and they said they could get it to me in one day. I could not have emphasized more that time was of the essence and absolutely HAD to have them by COB Thursday. I showed up at the end of the day Thursday and was told that not only were my pants not ready I couldn't even take them back because they had shipped them to their factory an hr away. I said where is the factory I'll go there myself to get them...nope factory is closed and won't be open till after I need them Friday morning. They said that their system said that they weren't due till Friday afternoon even though my ticket clearly stated Thursday afternoon. It was a huge headache and very annoying that they still made me pay full price when I finally did pick the pants up on Friday afternoon. Won't be going back here. read more

Awful. Brought a bunch of dress shirts to be dry cleaned and even tho they were promised to be ready by Thursday, only 20% of the shirts were ready by that day. Not only that, I'm finding new stains on shirts that were not there when I dropped them off. Never thought it was possible to pay for a shirt to be dry cleaned and you get it dirtier than how you dropped it off. Otherwise, they are terribly expensive and very disorganized. They tried charging me for shirts I dropped off, paid for, and picked up over 6 months ago. Never, never again. read more

This place is absolutely the luckiest business. They are the only show in town and if they were forced to run like a real business, they would be out of business. They have had over 30 days to find 14 shirts, 2 dresses and 2 suits that were dropped off. I have the slips but they say they are not clear on where my clothing is. The problem is they use an archaic system to track their clothes. No computers and no organization. They have never followed up...I have had to initiate every communication. They can only say..."maybe you picked them up?" The people are rude and refuse to offer any help. STAY AWAY!!!!! read more

Awful!!! Terrible!!! Horrible!!! I would go ANYWHERE but here. I brought a leather handbag to be cleaned and they said it would be sent out. I went back 4 times in the course of a month to pick it up. First time,it wasn't ready. Second time, not ready but They said they would call to see what was taking so long. Third time, they can't find the bag and don't think it was sent out to be cleaned yet. I finally got the bag back after 30 days!!! I said I wanted a reduction in price for all the trouble and only after I demanded to speak to the owner, they gave me $5 off. If I could physically stop someone from going here... As far as some reviews go,all I can say is that DelNeros is the best drycleaning experience I've ever had. Maybe Mike o was just having a bad day. These people were all very nice to me and my clothes came out excellent.I had asked about the other post on here and they were all aware of it and explained to me that Mike O's clothes had simply been picked up by his significant other and that is was just a miss understanding. Yes they agree that they are not computerized, but that had nothing at all, to do with anything, as far as Mr.O's situation went.I would imagine that all dry cleaners have their set of problems.I mean think of it,there are hundreds of pieces of clothing going through a dry cleaning plant and theres bound to be a hick up here and there.Anyways,they seemed very organized to me and friendly and like I said,my clothes came out in excellent shape. So I personally would recommend this cleaners and don't let one bad review set the standard. read more
