Del Paso Dismantlers are VERY dishonest! When they opened they assured me that the two doors for a 2014 VW Jetta were the correct doors. I compared the doors and they looked similar. I asked Del Paso Dismantlers were they sure and they assured me these were my doors. My gut was not sure since the guy did NOT show me the hinges and removed them altogether without seeing them. I take the doors to my mechanic and he informed me that the doors have different hinges! They will not fit! I ask Del Paso Dismantlers about the hinges that were removed. They said it was a different part sold separately, which he never mentioned and did not even match. They never had the correct door and hinges. I could have used my old hinges although they were not a match for the doors bought. I couldn't even get an exchange! Long story short! Del Paso Dismantlers complained about how much money they invested in their yard and were strapped for cash! They WILL say anything to sell anything! Even if they know that is not your correct part or if it works! I asked for a refund of 300.00 which they refused! Even with receipt and next day return. I could not even get an exchange of parts! As I walked out, another lady and her husband were returning an engine that did not work! I said, "Good Luck" and sure enough he said, 'No REFUNDS '! Even if the parts do not work or wrong parts sold! The tall Asian looking Afghanistan is a CROOK because he purposely did not show me the hinges because he knows I would have said , "those are NOT a match and will not fit" The other owner ( shorter chubby Afghanistan ) is a RUTHLESS salesman. He was nice before buying but when I informed him of the incorrect doors and missing hinges and asked for a refund or correct replacement he just became another person. He was RUDE, unethical and unprofessional. I thought WOW what people do for MONEY! I figured they saw the opportunity to scam an older lady and not correct a wrong! Avoid. I only went here since it was close in my neighborhood. I saw they open at 9 am. I walk over there. Not open. I thought maybe they changed their hours. I call to make sure. Someone picks up. my family inadvertently engaged this company when we purchased an engine online from Premium Auto Parts(https://www.google.com/maps/place/?q=place_id:ChIJabkjaQUXsYkRAr7AYSqs4_0) based on their online listings as an auto dealer. We were asked by Premium to make 2 separate payments because the device receiving payments had only accepted a partial payment. We made the 2nd payment via PayPal. We were told that our engine would arrive in 6 to 7 days. Our mechanic received the engine several weeks later, and contacted us to relay that the wrong engine had been sent. We contacted Premium to return the engine. Again, we waited for several weeks for the engine to be received. In the interim, we contacted Premium , and we're told by an employee that we had been scammed. That employee provided the number to Del Paso. When we contacted Del Paso, we learned that our credit info had been used by Del Paso to process the purchase of an engine we believed to be in Premium's possession. It was at this time that we realized Premium Auto to be brokers who make unauthorized purchases in the customer's name from Del Paso for engines and auto parts. The first payment is received by Del Paso and the second payment is taken by Premium as a broker's fee. Del Paso, then , sends an engine or auto part to the unsuspecting purchaser. I would not have discovered this scheme if Del Paso had sent the right engine, initially because I would not have known they existed. When the second engine was sent, our mechanic contacted us and explained that the second engine was useless because it was missing several compressors and assembled of mix match parts. I reached out to Del Paso on behalf of my family member and explained that I understood the nature of the fraud associated with my family member's purchase. I do not know with certainty collude with Premium to defraud consumers, but I'm certain they provide subpar parts and engines. I do believe they engage in extensive business interactions with Premium, however. So, it is hard to believe that Premium is defrauding patients without collaborating with someone within Del Paso's company who understands the nature of the fraud being committed, since Del Paso gets customers and Premium a finder's fee. We have accumulated 1400 in mechanic's fees, spent 1200 on an engine, and do not have a running vehicle. These companies must not be permitted to continue to engage in corrupt businesses practices that harm the public. read more

I'm never an unfair customer I don't want any deals unless your offering. I do expect to be told the truth or provided with options if there is going to be issues..I was lead to believe this trans was rebuilt and charged for a rebuild and the labor to install and the part itself..this business will eventually phase out but im going to expose this type of incompetent, negligent and fraudulent business no nos.. read more

After calling a few places that were overpriced , I called Del Paso Auto Dismantlers ( ask for Sal )Hooked me up with a cool price for my part (Passenger Mirror). Upon arriving Sal mentioned they also install certain parts, mine was one! What a Win Win! Sal was welcoming and fair, two qualities I respect. I didnt even know this hidden gem was here. I purchased two parts from them front right and front left Spindle wheel hubs I had them installed on May 4 May 5 I took my car to Pep Boys and was told those parts were unsafe and they were not they should not have been sold to anyone I took my parts back to the retail shop on Del Paso Boulevard spoke with Danielle who refused to give me back my money who gave me the runaround and is also refusing to put me in contact with the owner of the shop who is his dad. I find this behavior to be very unprofessional and I have filed a complaint with the BBB read more

We have 1 truck as our work vehicle & no other, so when it went into the shop for a discontinued brake part, we were devastated We had to rent a car & pay over $600.00 to get it fixed. We called Riz here & he went into his yard, used a forklift to remove 2 cars on top of the truck that had our part. We took it to the shop & it turned out to be a wrong style. We drove back & they not only refunded our $$$, but apologized for the wrong part given to us, even though they had no way to know it wasn't the right one. Alright, I've never left a Yelp review before in my life, but here we go. I was looking for a 22R motor for my Toyota pickup, and when I called Del Paso they assured me that they had one in stock. For a 1985 Toyota Pickup. I was stoked. Mind you I'm in Reno, so getting over to Sacramento isn't exactly a skip and a jump. But for a good compression, 150K mile 22R, it's worth it. I take off work 2 hours early from work on a Friday and get to their shop right before they close. As they're loading the motor up, I realize that it's THE WRONG MOTOR. He goes inside and comes out awhile later saying that his computer said it was a 22R, and he just didn't pay attention when he pulled it off the shelf. I wasted an entire afternoon, and lost wages, simply because he didn't pay attention. Never go here. read more

I have never got an Engine that did not work or run well. my customers are still on the road from engines purchased from Del Paso Dismantlers we installed back in 09.
