Had a lovely outdoor happy hour dinner with a coworker with the great Ava to take care of us during our drinks and bites as we chatted. Ava was flexible and understanding as we weren't all ready for our orders and suggesting the carnitas tacos for my peer while I consumed the taco trio, pub sliders and quesadilla while enjoying a mango carafe to wind down after work. The food was crispy when it needed it to be, savory and hot fresh to our table for us to enjoy and cool icy drinks with our salt rims for our margaritas when we need it to wash it down. Avoid this restaurant. Served my kid rotten fruit and burnt chicken tenders. That would usually be enough for me to not go back but add in flavorless food and charges on the bill that don't match the menu and you have a great way to make sure I don't come back. I just visited this restaurant on the 18th of December and it was great! Very welcoming, very warming. I was greeted with smiles and sat shortly after arriving. I forget the name of my waitress but she was amazing. The food: We got the nachos & chipotle chicken pasta The nachos were vegetarian, but it was loaded with beans, tomatoes, lettuce and all that other good stuff. We got the full, and it literally fills you up, i didn't even get to really get into the pasta. Definitely would recommend The pasta was okay. That's why it's getting a 4. It was sweeter than expected so we packed it up and reheated it in the over later on but it wasn't something i would get again not gonna lie. Service was good and the place is very new and clean. The menu is not very Gluten Friendly for a Mexican style restaurant and the tacos were bland unfortunately. We were excited to try this place but the food left us wanting more. Beer cheese comes on nearly everything and the chips/salsa basically is out of the jar. This was my first time trying this place. I drove by and didn't even know the place existed but since I am a sucker for Mexican food...I thought to give it a try! I truly don't know how to rate this place because the service sucked initially. It was only 3 people at the bar. I made 4. It took a long time for someone to acknowledge me even though the bar was area wasn't busy. I did notice after sitting for so long that the bartender was servicing 2 other tables inside and a few tables outside. So I don't blame him but I do blame management (when I walked through the door-they were chatting instead of helping the guy btw) Anyway, eventually a bartender came over and made me a drink. I suppose he was helping because he didn't stay long. The actual bartender came over and took my order about 20 minutes later and offered complimentary chips and salsa. He was polite and eventually attentive after some tables were done eating. The ambiance was nice. It was clean and appeared to be a new restaurant. I would go back maybe an earlier time and have an actual waitress. Food was okay. I got the cheesesteak rolls and frozen margarita even though I wanted "on the rocks" I guess he didn't hear me. Went for dinner graduation weekend because my graduate said it was one of her favorite restaurants in the area. Margaritas were delicious! We shared apps, tacos, quesadillas, and sushi. Amazing place Jeremy and Jess were amazing the environment was cool and had a nice feel , they have alcoholic and non alcoholic options (of that I am grateful since I don't drink) I was recommended the non alcoholic cucumber mint lemonade, and i ordered the chicken and waffles. The chicken and waffles had a twist with Mexican street corn and other delicious flavors that went so well together I feel i could eat it everyday. 5 stars all around would recommend. read more

Amazing! Service was great, very friendly. They brought us a complimentary sampler of chips & dips which were all amazing. Guacamole was great! We tried shrimp tacos, quesabirria & steak fajitas which were all really great. Tortilla soup was definitely not our favorite but it wasn't bad! Also the shrimp tacos came on a 3 taco stand but only comes with two tacos which just looked a bit empty but the tacos were big so it's fine! We got two cocktails which were also amazing the peaches & hot honey and the classic margarita. The place itself was beautiful & had a nice atmosphere. It was a Friday at noon when we went & we were able to park right out front and walk in with no reservation and no wait which was very nice however I hope it's not always like that, this place deserves to be packed! read more

Mahi taco was good, but the street corn was pretty bland. We did order the poke tacos and those were delish as well as their complimentary chips and salsa. Kids loved the churro waffle. Salmon dish was ok but the potatoes that it came with weren't that great. Margaritas weren't mixed that well either. It took quite a long time for the food to come out, but our server totally made up for it... He was so nice and funny. The place was really clean which is already a huge plus. read more

Oh I went to this restaurant after a visit with my dentist in Newark Delaware. I'd like to try a new places and I heard about Del Pez's new location, also in Newark. Well I was pleasantly surprised by the great service and the cheerful atmosphere. And wait let me tell you about the food. I'm a great aficionado of Mexican corn and this place had a fantastic Mexican corn which I must go back for, as well as a guacamole dish. I have tried salsa various Mexican restaurants in the area but none was as tasty as the salsa here. Plus the chips are freshly made Which makes a lot of difference to me. read more

Very expensive food and drinks. Great service; fast service (especially for the quality). The food was pretty decent but not worth the price tag IMO. I understand food costs are high but some of these menu items are clear examples of cross-subsidization ($9 queso in order to allow crab quesadillas to cost $18). The food was very disappointing! The protein in each dish was very dry, overcooked and not flavorful. The guacamole was okay but also lacking flavor. We sat at the bar and with the exception of Alicia, who was terrific BTW, the service was spotty even though it was not super crowded. She did make me a great Ranch Water even though it's not on the menu. I've spoken to others who've had similar experiences so this is not a one off I'm sorry to say. read more
