Three stars for the decor and service. Everything was super cool inside and the tswift groupie with me was in awe. Our server was also excellent and super accommodating and friendly. The lack of stars? The food and drinks. The choices were pretty good but it's the same food every season. I get that they're basically borrowing the bbq kitchen next door and they're semi limited but I need you to do better with the choices. Please mix it up)l! The drinks we had were just ok. Nothing out of this world but super expensive. Also no high chairs for small kiddos? How? I get it's a "cocktail bar" but when you have a preteen (and adult too) fan favorite of course you're going to bring in smaller clientele (with small siblings) during the earlier hours. This was a miss for me.

Cool space and fun idea for various themed events. Food was good and so were the drinks. The reason for the low rating is the service was not the best. They needed at least another bartender and we had to wait a lot to be able to put in orders.

Stopped by today to check out their Taylor Swift themed cocktails. First of all, the decor is fun and bright. The music was so low-volume, though - couldn't hear anything but the noise of Swifties. 'My' bartender never acknowledged my existence. After being seated for practically 20 minutes, another bartender finally took my order. Spicy Tequila Problems - a watered down margarita for $17. Fun. Redneck Heartbreak - now, im a fan of strong drinks. That being said, I can tell if any of the other listed ingredients was added besides the Bourbon. I'm happy I, at least, checked it out. Was never acknowledged by my bartender, BTW, but he had plenty of time to chat it up with a coworker.

My husband and I had a great time at Del Ray's pop-up bar! The dive bar theme was super cool and well done. The staff were welcoming and extremely kind. We will definitely be coming back.

I discovered on IG and had to check it out! They don't take reservations so seating is first come, first serve. There's no host stand. You just have to find your own seating. They're connected to the BBQ spot next door and change out the decor seasonally. This review is for the holiday theme, "Joy on the Avenue." We sat at the bar and admired the festive decor. This place is definitely worth a visit. If you're reading this soon, you have about another week left. Plenty of IG pics and videos here forsure! They offer small bites. We weren't hungry so we stuck to cocktails. We had the "Hansel & Gretel" and the "Cousin Eddy's Eggnog." Both were vodka based but the Hansel & Gretel was my fave of the two! Service was generally good. One particular bartender was more engaging and attentive, compared to some others! Glad I got to try this place out!

Cute Taylor Swift Eras Tour themed bar right now. It is very popular but no wait and two barstools available late on a Friday night. Did not try any food but had some drinks which were pricy but worth it the one time.

We went to the Halloween pop up bar on a Saturday evening. We went before the rush (5pm) and I'm surprised they don't take reservations. The decor was spooky scary and the vibe was eerie and creepy crawley. The food was decent. We tried the Bloody Potato skins. It was super cute and had edible eyes! We halos had beverages but I don't recall the name. All in all a good time. I wish they offered reservations.

We had an amazing time at the Del Ray Pop Up for a celebration! We had incredible service from everyone there especially Hannah who made us feel right at home! The food was on point and the drinks were delicious and unique. The atmosphere was incredible and we just had an absolute blast. We came when it was the last day of the Taylor Swift theme and cannot wait to come back for the next theme! Thanks for an unforgettable experience!

Came for the TS pop up bar after I saw some videos on instagram. First, the decor and ambiance definitely took some effort - shoutout to the designers. The walls had sections for each era and a ton of photo opportunities. That was probably the best part of the experience. To be honest, it felt like they created the room for photos and then were like "oh, we should serve food and drinks too" because the food and drinks were not that good and the menu had several typos. I tried to order the fry sampler at about 3:15pm (an hour after opening) and they were somehow already out of it...how are you out of fries after one hour? So I got the chips and queso instead. It seemed like they threw half a bag of doritos on a plate and heated up some Tostitos brand queso. It was fine, but nothing special. That was the cheapest food option at about $6, everything else was at least $12 and appeared to be about the same quality. For a drink, I got the mule - it was decent but heavy on the ginger beer. As someone who orders Moscow mule variants fairly often, I wasn't super impressed - especially at the $18 price point. I got a souvenir cup with it, but for $18 that still wasn't worth it. I tried the "Romeo and julep" that my friend ordered and it was surprisingly strong, so that might be better value. It seems like this is the first weekend of this being open, so I don't want to be too hard on the staff, but they clearly weren't prepared for the sort of crowd that Taylor-themed things draw. We got there about 10 mins before opening and got in about 20 minutes after opening. However, they let us in as "standing room" despite there not being actual standing room in the establishment. We were in the way of every server and bartender, so I honestly wish they waited to let us in until a table was ready. We eventually sat down when some people left, but it was just a strange experience to be let in as standing room when there wasn't really space for it. We also were the first people let in as standing room for the day (they previously only let people in when there were tables), so the servers didn't seem to know what to do with us. It may be too late, but I'd suggest allowing/requiring reservations or selling some sort of ticket instead of being first come first serve. I think people would pay for a $5-10 ticket to have a more pleasant/relaxing experience, or you could even make the tickets more expensive but have them come with your first cocktail. This would ease the line and make people feel more relaxed and less crowded out in the establishment.

This was such a fun experience to keep the eras tour alive! We went on a warm Saturday afternoon and waited in line about an hour. They sell drinks outside in line and there is a bbq place for food right next door. Was disappointed to hear that people were sneaking in through the shared bathroom with the bbq place and skipping the line. Once inside it was crowded and few places to sit. The drinks themselves were so good and well thought out. I wish the music was a little louder and at some point they stopped playing Taylor Swift songs. Excited to see what pop ups are in the future!

My friends and I stopped by to check out their Taylor Swift themed pop up bar and we had a great time. The space was well themed and decorated, and of course had her music on shuffle. It was great energy and a mix of people coming out to enjoy. The drinks were comparably priced to other bars in the DC area and were good, the added theming to her music/albums is what made them exciting. The food, however, was delicious! We got the fry sampler and the sliders. It all tasted fresh and flavorful. I would come back depending on the theming of the next pop up.

This pop up Halloween in delray out did them selves!

Food is spooky! And service is amazing, and the ambiance is selfie worthy! Highly highly recommended for all ages but even more so after 8pm when the spookiest part come out.

If you're looking for a place to enjoy Christmas cocktails and decor, this definitely fits the bill but you should manage expectations. I would not recommend coming here with a large party. Seating is very minimal and there really is no process. Since the space is small, you basically stand and wait for someone to leave, but there's no hostess directing people and keeping tabs on who came when. To be honest, if they had that one simple change with a hostess and an actual line, this would have made a huge difference in my experience, otherwise it made for some awkward encounters. Our party of 3 sat at the bar but service was extremely slow, due to how busy it was. The pomegranate margarita was pretty good and the soup and grilled cheese were decent. If you manage your expectations, come at a less busy time (perhaps on a weeknight that isn't right before Christmas ) I think it would be an enjoyable experience!

I will say though, the mac-n-cheese was pretty disappointing, was a bit too starchy and there didn't seem to be really much cheese with it. So if you go to get the awesome burger, just get fries. We also got some char-grilled oysters that might have had a bit too much spices and seasoning on it that it got quite overwhelming. But summing it up, burgers were amazing, sides we underwhelming, make sure you get the OG BBQ sauce on your burger though!

I came here based on a recommendation that this was "the best BBQ." That set the bar pretty high,…read moreand unfortunately, the food didn't come close to meeting it. I ordered the two-meat meal with pulled pork and brisket, fiery mac & cheese, sweet BBQ baked beans, and cornbread, plus an iced tea. With tip, the total was $32.04. At that price, I expected a genuinely good BBQ meal. Instead, I left wondering how a place known for BBQ could miss the mark so badly on the meat. The pulled pork was simply bland. There wasn't much smoke or seasoning coming through, and very little about it stood out. The one positive: it wasn't dry. Then there was the brisket, which was by far the biggest disappointment of the meal. It was sliced extremely thin--almost like lunch meat--and had quite a bit of fat that didn't appear to have rendered properly. Yet somehow, despite all that fat, the meat itself was incredibly dry. Good brisket should be tender, juicy, and have properly rendered fat. This was none of those things. Quite frankly, it was some of the worst brisket I've had in years. Ironically, the BBQ sauces were considerably better than the BBQ. You get a choice of Original, Honey Chipotle, and North Carolina Vinegar. I really enjoyed the spicy, smoky-sweet flavor of the Honey Chipotle, but the Original was easily my favorite. That sauce was excellent, and I'd happily put it on another meal. The sides were a mixed bag. The sweet BBQ baked beans were decent and had good flavor. Nothing extraordinary, but I enjoyed them. The fiery mac & cheese had potential. I liked the heat from the jalapeños, but the cheese sauce had a noticeably grainy texture. Whether that came from the way it was prepared or how it was reheated, I don't know, but good mac & cheese should have a smooth, creamy, silky cheese sauce. This didn't. And then, surprisingly, we get to the best thing on the entire tray: the cornbread. I really liked that they put whole corn kernels in it, and the cornbread had great flavor. In fact, it was the only item on my tray that I finished completely. Unfortunately, it appeared to have been reheated--presumably in a microwave--which made some of the corn kernels chewy. Honestly, I would have preferred it served at room temperature. Still, it was easily the highlight of the meal. Even the iced tea managed to disappoint. I initially mixed the sweet and unsweetened teas, but after realizing I couldn't taste much sweetness, I went back and filled my glass with 100% sweet tea. It still wasn't sweet. Maybe the containers were accidentally switched that day, but whatever was labeled "sweet tea" definitely wasn't. For $32.04, I expected much better. When you're selling BBQ, the smoked meats need to be the reason people come back--not something that has to be rescued by sauce. There were some bright spots here: the Original BBQ sauce was excellent, the beans were good, and the cornbread was genuinely enjoyable. But those things can't make up for bland pulled pork and especially dry, poorly rendered brisket sliced like deli meat. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but based on the meal I was served, I wouldn't return. And I definitely wouldn't call it "the best BBQ."

I decided on the Build-A-Combo 2 meat platter. They also have a 3 meat platter, but I can assure you that the 2 meat platter will more than fill you up. For my order I opted for the pulled chicken and pulled pork. For sides, I went with the beans and mac & cheese. The size of the meat servings was hefty. Both meats were delicious, but I had a slight preference for the chicken. They have several sauces to slather onto you meat. My favorite was the Sweet. The others were also tasty, though I was less enamored with the mustard sauce. I enjoyed the mac & cheese even though it was spicier than expected. I especially liked the texture of the macaroni. The cornbread muffin was excellent, though their recipe might have a touch too much shortening because the muffin started to crumble when I buttered it. Still, the muffin was delicious. The only dish I didn't like were the beans. I didn't recognize their seasoning and they just didn't taste good. I can't remember his name but he and his partner Wynn gave impeccable customer service. I started out with an Orange Wave to drink while I waited for my sister. She was about 30 mins late. I wasn't rushed and I didn't feel uncomfortable waiting for her to arrive. I chose the lobster omelette. It came with potatoes and a mixed salad. The potatoes were crispy and the lobster was nice and buttery. The atmosphere was lively. The food was good and the prices were reasonable. Restaurant takes online reservations, and the service is attentive, accommodating and courteous. Food was delicious! I ordered a crab salad with crackers, really big lumps of crab meat. For entree, I had the stuffed trout which has crispy skin and juicy inside. A side of Brussels sprouts accompanied my meal. It was perfect. Overall, this would have been a 5-star experience, except I was seated at the end patio table and spent much of the meal swatting away fruit flies and regular flies. Unfortunately, that took away from what was otherwise an excellent dining experience.
