Such a wonderful mother's day experience for my mom. This placed was wonderful and would 100% go back again! This place was in fact very "majestic" inside. Great vibes and fancy decorating. The food was all phenomenal. My mom loved her salad and ate every bite. The salmon benedict was incredible. Great flavors with the garnishing on top and the potatoes were perfectly cooked and great service, our waitress was very attentive as well as the other staff.

Came here for dinner after work. This place has been on my radar for quite some time food was tasty drink was good. My friend enjoyed her meal as well. Parking is on the street and it's free. Ambience is nice and I like the local decor. No issues with service bathroom is clean. Price isn't rather high but I actually didn't mind it so much given the quality of the food. If I was in the area I would come back again.

    Happy hour cab

***Happy Hour Review I first learned about this restaurant through a Yelp event a few years ago. Was in the area with time to kill so this was perfect. Got a parking spot right out front - paid via ParkMobile. It was during happy hour. The specials are great. The bar was crowded but luckily I was able to snag a seat. The bartenders provided great service and were friendly. Other patrons were nice and engaged in conversation with me. I ordered a glass of red wine on the happy hour. It was a cab and pretty good. I also got the beef sliders - tasty. I would definitely visit again for happy hour, but either way, I need to come back for the other menu items!

My bestie and I booked a table at 530 for the new menu and it blew us away. I had never been and I loved the chandeliers and deep purple tones of the restaurant. We started with the harvest salad & crispy artichokes which were so delicious. The artichokes were perfectly fried. The salad was so fresh. Then the scallops & branzino were so good. The branzino was the stand out of the night

The service was superb. It spoke for itself. Our waitress was so amazing. The right amount of attentive and made the menu items sound delicious. Came in for lunch and got the French onion sandwich and mushroom Alfredo. It was perfection. The parmesan fries were so good I had to get a whole side order. I cannot recommend this enough. The decor is also super cute. Its giving traditional but with an elevated twist. Bravo majestic!

The Majestic is a New American restaurant in Old Town with Mediterranean influences. It strikes a good balance of being an everyday neighborhood restaurant that's also great for special occasions. They have majestic hour at the bar only M-F 3-7pm. The HH menu has a wide variety of options for food and drinks. I really enjoyed the burger sliders, Caesar salad and arancini. The service was great and the portion sizes were filling.

The Majestic has evolved over the years and seems to have found their place in Old Town. The restaurant offers some very good southern style meals. I had the salmon and it was nicely seasoned over a delicious succotash. The restaurant was very crowded but the bartender did not miss a beat. She put some care into the cocktail. I was talked into their speciality cake and it was moist, irresistibly so, just as advertised. This is a worthwhile stop in the Old Town restaurant trail.

Order yourself the delicious Mama Majesty, refreshing wizardry concocted by lovely Ali! It is perfect answer to 104 degree temps on this July 4th weekend.

New chef and great flavors - the fries were fresh and flavorful, Michael our server was fantastic & the manager stopped by as well. I love the old world moody ambiance with real candles and real flowers in the table. The gluten free cauliflower is delicious and a flavor bomb , the arancini balls incredible. The Santini salad was a let out after those great flavors. Texture and flavorful felt ... off. Had an excellent grilled chicken harvest salad, beef carpaccio was super flavorful, steak frites excellent. The coconut cake was OK- felt a little bland and like maybe had been in fridge for too long?? The chocolate mouse was excellent! The margarita caipirinha really lovely - we'll be back.

Arrived and immediately loved the vibe. Dark with lots of customers and great music. It was a VERY close quarters sitting at a two-top, however. The burrata was good but a bit wet and sweet. Nice flavors but I would have preferred the bread crunchy and on the side. Lamb shank was too salty to finish. It was well flavored and seasoned with warm spices but the unbalanced salt with salt added to the sauce, plus the delicious grits with plenty of cheese and salt gave me pause. The smoky pork chop was a win and was enjoyable with a simple sweet potato mash. The dark chocolate mousse had a velvety texture and used dark chocolate yet tasted creamy enough for many palettes. This also had more salt than needed so that distracted from the overall balance. I nursed a strong well-made old fashioned. Only time in my life I haven't finished a drink! I loved many things about this spot. The food quality was great but flavor combinations and execution weren't my favorite. I could see many people liking it more than me.

Everything 10/10! I cannot rant and rave about this place more. I visited with my sisters, nephew and daughter on a Sunday afternoon/evening. We tried the $49 menu. I forget what it's called but y'all EVERYTHING IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every thing is literally amazing. That's all I can say. Our server was Nicholas and he was amazing as well. He lacked nothing! Our drinks.... Perfection. The ambiance, PERFECTION! The only negative thing I have to say is that the kids menu is not good.. I got my daughter a grilled cheese (she's 3) the grilled cheese is on huge, tough sourdough and has like provolone cheese on it. Not yummy, not easy for a child to eat. Their choice of veggies is also not normal for children lol.. where's the simple broccoli and carrots? Nonetheless.. that didn't put a dent in my experience. We will just try chicken tenders next time or eat before coming back!

Stopped into the Majestic for a couple cocktails and apps on a rainy night in the DMV recently. Was greeted by the bartender and I eventually chose the Midnight Libretto cocktail, I'd never had it before but it was perfect. The ginger and rye gave it a nice smoothe texture without it being overly liquid forward, a small bite candied ginger dissolved nicely with each sip. I ordered the crab rangoons and the burrata to eat. Both we're light and delightful and went will with my 1st and 2nd Midnight Libretto. The creamy inside of the crab rangoons went well with the crispy exterior and the sweet and sour sauce. The burratas was laid out on two pieces of toast with balsamic and some other toppings, just delicious. I complimented the bartender on making great drinks and hope to come back soon as it was a great experience and drink I would like to enjoy again.

Good Customer Service equates to Good Loving! Who doesn't love LOVE? I know I do! Picking up my empty sugar packets from the side of the table and keeping my table clean will have me in awe. Why? It's the small details for me! The Majestic is located in the hustle and bustle of King St. Really cute sign out front, this place has been here for years and I had never been. Thanks to my sidekick who's been everywhere, I got to try! The service was amazing! Everyone here works together. Love that! The place looks big because of the sign but the restaurant is actually narrow and long. There is a bar upfront so that is something to remember. Let's get into it! Traditional Breakfast- Solid! Good! Avocado Toast - Small portion compared to the price. Plating is beautiful, however the avocado is smashed and not a fave of mine. For those that don't mind it that way you'll love. Very light menu option. Coffee was PERFECT! Will definitely come back to try the happy hour and dinner menu! Cheers!

Is this place checking vaccination cards?

    They did not check ours.

Do they still have French dip on Fridays? Or any day?

    Yes! French Dips on Fridays

    What's the dress code?

Business casual to cocktail. I, personally wouldn't go in looking like I'd been working in the harbor playing tourist all day. I also wouldn't go in dresses to the nines. If you work in an office and wear what you wear, there, you'll fit right in.

    Saturday menu- brunch or lunch?

Brunch menu offered. However, you do find some of the lunch (weekday) plates on the brunch menu as well for the weekend.

    Is there parking?

Paid street parking until 9 PM on weekdays & I believe Saturdays.

    Do you have happy hour!?

Yes and it's great for drinks.
