I understand there is a pandemic going on and they are doing their best to get through but they could do a lot better. We are on our way home from a trip with the trailer and unable to go through the drive-through. So I called to place a phone order and pay for it with credit card they could've just walked it out the door but they refused to serve me. They take online orders but not phone in orders it makes no sense to me. The lady outside the door had been waiting when I walked up and well we got things out of our trailer and left 15 minutes later she was still waiting and it was 108 outside. If they wanted their business to succeed and do better they would try harder. If I was able to give it zero stars I would. See the attached picture of the disgusting burger I was served tonight. Here is the burger that Del Taco served me tonight. It is beyond disgusting! If you look close enough you will see these two little burnt, crispy and dried pieces of meat. The cheese didn't melt because the meat was cold. The lazy-ass cook didn't clean or scrape the grill, there are pieces of burnt black carbon from a filthy grill all over the burger. The fries were undercooked and cold. I can't believe that someone would actually serve food like that. Seriously, who does that. The cook needs to be terminated. He/she probably feels they deserve to earn $15 an hour for serving this slop. I called and spoke to a manager named Claudia. Didn't seemed phased. She told me I could come back and they would replace it. Not at 10PM and 40 degrees. I am beside myself! This Del Taco is getting worse and worse. I came in this evening (5-27-22) around 7:10 ish. Ordered two family fiesta boxes. One with all red burritos and chicken soft tacos, the other with all green and just regular hard shell tacos. (Oh and a macho combination burrito for the hubby). Anyways when the employee repeated back my order he mentioned the del taco with my order. I told him no just wanted the regular little tacos. Supposedly he said he corrected my order, but the price didn't change. I questioned it and he said he fixed it. Paid and received my receipt and guess what?!? He didn't fix it.. So I went to the counter and told him he didn't do so. Some manager comes up to refund me, but ends up refunding me over the price I paid. Then had to turn around and charge me again for his mistake so his drawer wouldn't be short. Which was fine, BUT WAIT THERE's more .. He tries to refund me again for the correct price, but ended up charging me instead. So again he had to refund me for the additional charge. During this whole fiasco I'm getting irritated because if the the employee who took my order in the first place could have resolved this whole thing by ringing me up correctly and or ask for help to fix his error, but NOOOOOO .. Then the so called manager told me he was just going to refund me and not charge me for one of the packs due to all of the shenanigans. I said thank you and walked away. Wait you got it, the light bulb went off about 5 seconds after I sat down again. He still needed to refund me the difference I was charged in the damn first place. I went back up there and explained everything to him and he told me he already refunded me. Oh boy !! I had to explain it to him 3 times before he got it.. To tell you the truth I don't think he ever did. Finally another manager walks in at this time and she takes care of it by refunding me the difference between the two packs. The facility is right off of the main drag, so that is quite convenient. They have the usual Del Taco fare. I am not sure that the food there is something I would drool over, but when you have had a bit to drink in the Mile High skies, a lot of the time this suits the purpose. The drive through was okay. Ordered my Macho Nachos and to me the beef was scanty. I asked for more meat and they said it was served with the right amount. I told them this is the Macho Nachos it should have more meat I barely ate any and showed them how much was still left. They declined to give me another small amount of meat. Instead they offered to take my plate and make me another one. I declined I said "why are you wasting food when you can just give me a little more meat?" They said no. Whatever happened to the customer is always Right? Also good thing we had decided to eat inside because our Strawberry Lemonades tasted like water. Based of of several trips to this location. First off, due to there being no wall between the drive thru and the highway, it is very hard for the cashier to hear your order. The next problem is that when they do hear the order and repeat it back to you correctly, the food you get is made wrong. For example -- and this has happened more than a half dozen times -- an item is ordered with no cheese, when we get home and open our bag there is cheese on the taco, burrito or whatever it is that was ordered. If this was one time, no big deal, but to happen consistently is beyond ridiculous. If there was another location close by I would go there instead. read more

I have been here several times. The place is clean. In addition, it is quite typical Del Taco restaurant. The waiting lines are not long. The meals are prepared quickly, and at the same time, they are delicious. Just as it would be, with any Del Taco restaurant. Definitely, a good spot to stop by, and eat while being in High Desert, or going to Las Vegas. The prices are the same, as with any other Del Taco restaurant. read more
