We came here to try something new since we are always in the hunt for good seafood since my partner is from Nayarit and myself from Sinaloa so that being said we know good sea food. First of all we order one tamal de elote which was not to sweet which is a plus and one tamal de puerco which had potato and carrots and shredded meat. I order one taco de Marlin which was just tasty and was seasoned to perfection. We also ordered botana mixta which contain raw shrimp, cooked shrimp, octopus very small pieces, callo de hacha, the downside to this plate was that the juice it came in was clamato in that case I could had ordered a seafood cocktail. This was a no for us the other plate we ordered was mejillones which the flavor was there but could use a bit more garlic to our taste. We had our little one with us but did not know they offered kid friendly food since it was no where to be found in the menu. We ordered a quesadilla that came with french fries it was served in a cute small shopping cart which that was unexpected very fun. They have agua frescas which we ordered Pepino with chia very delicious and the fact that it was not extremely sweet was a plus. My partner had two tacos dorados de camaron and it was just ok for him maybe if it was not filled with potato and just shrimp he would had enjoyed it more. The ambiance was welcoming and the overall service was great. Another thing we noticed was that they served alcohol but was not in the menu. The waitress asked if we wanted corn or flour and we went for corn. When the check arrived, we were charged $1.99 for hand made tortillas. It was never stated on the menu and the waitress never told us. Worse of all, they weren't even hand made! I suggest increasing prices instead of sneaking an extra $2 per plate. The place was packed when we arrived, (once we tried our food we understood why) but we didn't have to wait long to be seated. Edith waited our table and was friendly and helpful throughout. There rice is flavorless and bland, there chilaquiles is to over powering with chili verde (salty). The carne (ranchero) has no flavor it only tastes like meat and of just meat broth.
