I recently had a trying experience here. For dining in you must order at a kiosk that is always trying to upsell customers to buy something extra. And I had to pay 70 cents extra for sour cream. Green Sauce also cost an extra 35 cents. But at least it was an excellent addition. It seems a weird system to have to wait at the check stand with other customers several minutes for your order to come after navigating one of two non-user-friendly kiosks. Three women were working just behind the counter at a frenetic pace to fulfill both kiosk and drive thru orders. At least our order was correct, and the food tasted good after it arrived. read more

This location constantly underfills their burritos and / or gives VERY small amounts of meat. You can almost enclose your fingers around the burrito, that's how empty they are. Also, you will only receive a little bit of meat in your food as shown in other posts. read more

Make it on the tables or counter like it should be. This place has the right idea other Del Taco's hide the sauce like it comes out of their personal paycheck. The ordering process and payment went smoothly, but then the order accuracy was lacking I ordered and paid for 2 hash browns sticks, however only received 1. I made a stop here late one night and ordered thru the drive thru. It was not a topical stop for me as my health was not well at the time. So when It was time to pay at the window, I completely forgot my wallet. The staff was so kind hearted, they had honored my meal for free and actually saved my life because my pressure dropped and was not able to drive home. There's a white dude with glasses that works the window late nights. Me and my girl are avid Del taco enthusiasts and every time he's working the window he asks " any sauce with that?" We can tell him we want ketchup and he will give us anything BUT ketchup. We can tell him we want Scorcho, we will get anything BUT scorcho. My girl and I have a $20 bill that we are going to give him the minute he gives us the sauce we ask for and it is still sitting in my cupholder til this day. Being that it is a New Year, we thought we'd venture into meatless menu options. We know that Del Taco uses Beyond Meat as their meat substitute, and so tried their Epic Beyond Original Mex Burrito and their Beyond Avocado Taco. The parking lot was ample size, and easy to get to the front of the restaurant. There weren't any customers in line, but the floor was marked for social distancing, there was hand sanitizer, and the employees wore masks and gloves (even in the back of the store). The Beyond Meat is a plant protein based meat substitute, and in our two items, it was to resemble ground beef. For sure this isn't a straight forward ground beef substitute. But on the other hand, when you add the Mexican spices, tortilla or taco shell, and the veggies, it tastes okay. The meatless isn't as rich and full flavored as real beef with a bit of after taste. Also the chew is different, not as firm. When this product first was introduced we tried a side-by-side comparison, and you could tell there was a big difference. But on a standalone tasting, it was okay. If I were a regular diner of Del Taco, and wanted to go to plant based protein, I would consider the switch. It seems that roughly the calories were about the same between meatless and meat. But, obviously, you pick up the health benefits of plant based. And there is a cost difference, about a 50% more for meatless over the comparable meat versions. As always, there are tradeoffs. read more

I haven't been to Del Taco in years. I was never a huge fan of Del Taco bc sometimes the food is good and sometimes it wasn't so good. But I recently saw the commercial about The Del Taco, so I thought I would give the Del Tacos a try. I ordered The Del Tacos and a combination burrito with extra beans and of course I had to get their fries. I love the crinkle cut. To my surprise, everything was very good. I was impressed with the size of the Del Tacos and with plenty of beef and cheese, just like the commercial says. The burrito was better than I thought and it was bigger than I remember them in the past. So I'll definitely be back. Also, I used the Del Taco app, which worked great. read more

I visit this establishment often. Typically my food is prepared properly. On my recent visit to the drive thru, I purchased the two fish taco meal. The fries were cold and mushy. The tacos were ridiculously over sauced and consequently, soggy and falling apart. Strangely, one of the tacos had a piece of fish that was so overcooked that it was hard. The other tacos fish was normal. The food was inedible and wound up in my trashcan. The store wasn't busy, so I think that this was a training issue. The workers were very polite but the food was deplorable. As I said previously, I use your services regularly and am very familiar with how your food is typically served. Please do better. read more

Taco Tuesday! Del Taco is typically my go to place for a quick and cheap meal. I frequently stop by this location when I'm in the area. The staff is usually pretty friendly, food is quickly served, and is if decent quality. However, today I ordered 6 value tacos and the shells on all of them were pretty stale. While still edible, my wife took one bite and rejected the rest. More for me ;)! I am not extremely picky about my food but I'm sure many people would've gone back to ask for a refund or to have another batch of tacos made. I understand that they likely clear out their "older" ingredients for Taco Tuesdays and Thursdays, but the quality control needs to be there to maintain the balance between cost and quality! I very rarely complain about my experiences at fast food places, but this was just ridiculous. I've been visiting this location for nearly 3 years and last night was the first time they actually got the order right. Unfortunately, I only got half of a box of fries. It was 3am and after waiting for 15 minutes(only 2 cars ahead of me), I finally got my fries. Drove home and opened the bag to see that it was barely filled. Stopped in 10/18 at noon for some tacos and while waiting in line I noticed a young girl in the prep line playing with the wrap over a fresh tattoo and then touching everyone's food she's making with no worries that that's sick. Got out of line and watched for awhile and she kept touching it. I left without ordering thinking that I've seen the most unhealthy thing in my 50+ years.
