I missed Cuca's because I had it almost every day growing up, all the way until about a year after high school. Now I'm visiting the area and decided to order online--said it'll be ready in 6 minutes--came to pick it up about 25 minutes after placing order. Came up to the window and it wasn't ready. They haven't even made it. Ended up getting my food 32 minutes after I placed the order. If I needed to check in and still wait for an order placed half an hour ago, that took the same time as if I would've placed the order there, then what's the point of the online order? Nonetheless, food is still as good as I remember it, especially the bean & cheese burrito. The salsa is still well-made also.

Best chicken tacos in the inland Empire area! Have gone there for decades many times a year.

How is this place only at 3.6 stars?! I've been coming here for months & it never misses. Any burrito, chimichanga style--chef's kiss. The salsas are on point, nd they don't play when it comes to portions. Definitely get your money's worth. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a simple walk-up joint, but the parking lot stays busy with people posted up, eating their food fresh and hot--bc it's that good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Between this location and the one in Highland, Cuca's is 100% worth the trip. This spot's got that lowkey legendary status.

My wife is from Redlands and always talked about Cuca's Mexican Food. We finally made it and Cuca's did not disappoint! We stopped by for lunch and there was a little line but it was quick. Cuca's has a walk up window but a nice parking lot in the back. I had the combination plate with chicken taquitos. The plate came with rice, beans, and two taquitos topped with cheese, guacamole, and lettuce. The taquitos were stuffed with chicken breast and were bursting with flavor. And I'm always a sucked for beans and rice, and Cuca's were delicious. My wife had a bean and cheese burrito and said it was just like she remembered. Cuca's seems like a must stop when in Redlands for some great grub!

When considering the longevity of Cuca's in Redlands's history, it definitely qualifies as an institution, providing that you only consider the original location, now called "Little Cuca's." In the 30 years or so that I've been here, with longer stretches of off than on, I don't think I've ever had anything except burritos. My first acquaintance was the enthusiastic recommendation from the guys working at what was then called Redlands Cyclery. As athletes who weren't 'in the money', we unanimously choose the bean, bean, and rice or bean, rice, and cheese burritos for the low cost, especially on special days. Surely, inflation has changed two things, size and price most places, but my recent walk down memory lane revealed that only price was affected. I also broke the mold by ordering a carne asada burrito (no onions). The familiar walking up to the window hasn't changed a bit, nor has the take-out nature. My order came up so fast that I almost couldn't hear the number being called from around the corner. Back in my vehicle to eat, it was a cold and windy day, but it evoked old memories. The sunshine felt wonderful as I reacquainted. The hot sauce hasn't changed much, if at all. It's still good. The size of the burrito seems like I remembered and very stuffed with grilled meat, cilantro, and shredded cabbage. The latter is unique, relatively speaking in the area. If I have a complaint, it's how salty the meat is, and I like salt. Prices are higher than, say, Tuxies in Riverside, where the equivalent burritos are 1/3 larger plus cheese, rice, and beans, but that's just for reference. Redlands is an expensive IE community, and the family deserves to do well. I'll revisit old favorites soon, and for the life of me, I cannot recall ever trying tacos here. 4.25/5 stars

Incredible Experience -- Above and Beyond! Gwen Marlo…read morecatering was an absolute lifesaver for our wellness retreat. I hired Annamarie and Messe last minute after our original chef backed out just two weeks before the event. From the very first call, they were responsive, kind, and completely accommodating to our shifting needs--whether it was allergies, dietary preferences, or an ever-growing headcount. Annamarie is an absolute sweetheart, and her warmth was felt not just in her presence, but in the food she prepared. Her husband was equally lovely, and together they brought such a beautiful, heart-centered energy to the weekend. The food was fantastic--nourishing, delicious, and beautifully presented. Everyone at the retreat was raving about it! We were aiming for healthy meals that still felt indulgent and flavorful, and they delivered that in spades. I can't wait to work with them again in the future. Highly, highly recommend!

We hired Gwen Marlowe Food and Catering for our wedding day, and overall, they did a fantastic job…read more The food tasted amazing, and everything went smoothly thanks to their efforts. Here's our detailed review based on their food quality, presentation, performance, and customer service. Food: The food was very good and tasty. Every dish was flavorful and satisfying to me but others trying the food had their likes and dislikes. This was a refreshing surprise since wedding food can sometimes fall flat. With Gwen Marlowe's cooking, you're likely to get dishes that stand out in taste. Presentation: The buffet-style setup was beautifully arranged, with each dish served by the vendor team to ensure an elegant presentation. Most dishes looked fantastic, giving our guests a sense of a refined, well-presented meal. The salad presentation, though simpler, was still tasty and fresh, adding a nice touch to the spread. Performance: On our wedding day, the team was on top of everything, ensuring every guest was served promptly and helping set up the tables to look beautiful. We appreciated their professionalism and attention to detail, which helped make our reception feel special. It was also just nice having a caterer who was willing to provide the plates and silverware. Really good deal for that reason alone! Customer Service: While Anna, our contact with the company, was communicative and respectful, we slowly began to feel hesitant to ask for adjustments or additional tastings, as we sometimes got the impression our requests were becoming a burden. It just felt like the vibes were coming off as passive aggressive and we didn't understand why when we were willing to pay for more tastings. It's hard to understand why a food company would have difficulty wanting to serve sample tastings of their dishes especially when they were being paid for. For example, when requesting if we could try out their vegan curry option in addition to their lasagna vegetarian option, we made efforts to make things easier for this vendor by suggesting we could just pick up the food in a take out box without needing a nice sit down experience to save them time (we only did this because Anne emailed us saying we couldn't book another tasting due to there being no time for them to set up another sit down tasting). In response, we got what we wanted but Anne charged us $50 a plate when typically they went for $30 a plate with a sit down experience. So just to get a chance to taste their veggie options we paid them $100 for 2 dishes. We know it takes time to get the ingredients to make these dishes but this shouldn't be an issue for a company that specializes in food. Customers will of course want to try out the different options so make that easier for them. A food company should not make their customers feel like they can't ask to try out food that will be served to hundreds of people! We also felt she didn't handle feedback as openly as we had hoped, occasionally giving the sense that we were the only people they've served who had problems with a dish. Additionally, there were a few instances when my mother, whom we had authorized to communicate with the Anne, felt overlooked. However, on the wedding day, everything we had requested was delivered beautifully, and our guests were thrilled with the food. Overall, Gwen Marlowe Food and Catering delivered a wonderful dining experience on our big day, with delicious food, thoughtful presentation, and a seamless performance. We just hope anyone booking them has a better experience with customer service as we unfortunately felt like a bother to this company. Thank you Gwen Marlowe for making our big day so special though
