No wait for a table for 2 on a Saturday at 7 pm! Ordered right away. Good drinks, GREAT food. We had a platter and it was way more than 2 people could eat. Lovecthis place.

We showed up with a large group on a Saturday morning, they were accommodating and professional. The place is cute and the food was delicious! I had the Baja shrimp tacos, they were perfect! Would come here again.

I was between 2-3 stars. I went with 3 cuz my overall experience was good. But the food was lacking sooo much. Everything was lacking flavor. The only thing that I tried that was somewhat flavorful was the shredded beef taco and asada taco. I really wanted to like this place cuz the food looked good. But definitely missing the mark on flavor.

Located right next to the movie theater, very happy with our first visit. Our server was very accommodating, we ordered the Fajitas for Two and it was a great portion (and delicious). We didn't order any drinks this time but their selection at the bar looks awesome. Definitely coming back!

The ceviche was amazing at the brunch. So many wonderful options. Our server was wonderful! He kept our drinks full!

The food here is pretty good, I was pleased with the taste and quality. I had the chimichanga platter and my girl had the chicken soup. We also ordered a quesadilla as an appetizer. The prices were fair for the amount and quality of food received. The real winner for me was our server Marco. I was starting to realize how on point he was at the beginning. I would run out of a drink and it seemed to arrive seconds later. I decided to look at my watch on the next refill and he was there in less than a minute. The service was unbelievable. I haven't seen a server so efficient in years. Marco is awesome and I hope he is my server the next time I go. Cool place to come to before going to the movie theater next door. I would not recommend eating at the movie theater, this Mexican restaurant is wayyyyy better.

I wish I'd gotten his name The music was good but it was a little too loud I couldn't hear the other people at my table, and they are not quiet ladies. The walk to the bathroom was an experience though. It felt like you were entering catacombs so weird. Otherwise everyone working there was nice, all 3 of us love our food, the starter portions were more than enough for one person to have as an entree. Sharing between 2 people would be a good portion but idk the size of entrees because we only got starters. Seemed nice and clean too Enjoyed our time here, we will be back

Our waitress has on break, but this was communicated well and rhe other staff stepped in until she returned. We got a mix of drinks and food and loved every sip and bite. I will say the serving sizes are not what I'm used to for a Mexican restaurant but not tiny, around 2 to 3 tacos per plate. I got the birra tacos and I do wish they would have had a side but it wasn't a huge issue. Now the music for the elephant in the room. It was very loud in the small space. I would say club level, which is a lot for a dining experience. It didn't take away too much, just made talking hard. Another summer specific thing to point out, it is not the standard California A/c situation. We were in not way dying of heat, but it was warm. The day's temperature was around 102° so that of course was taken into account. If you have a group of friends that need some yummy food, this is your spot. Just maybe not a 1st date location, OR the perfect 1st date place

Although their prices are high, $16 for a torta, it's usually worth it, because their portions are quite generous. Earlier today, I ordered a torta to go, and I ended up extremely disappointed when I got home. It had literally half the meat, half the beans, and half the cheese that it normally does. This was the first time I'd been disappointed with their food, but I decided to call and express my dissatisfaction. I was passed to the manager who handled the situation in the most unprofessional way. I explained the issue to him, and he insisted that my torta today had the same amount of meat, beans, and cheese as always. I disagreed with him, and he responded angrily, "Everybody makes mistakes!" He raised his voice and repeated it a couple of times. It was completely bizarre that he chose to speak to me as if I was the one who'd done something wrong. It's very childish to do a subpar job and then get upset and frustrated when you're called on it. An adult apologizes and pledges to not blow it again. Anyhow, I don't tolerate disrespectful people so I'm done. I won't spend another penny there.

I love their bean and cheese burrito, my son is all about the carne asada burritos, and my daughter surprisingly goes for the burgers and fries. The pink lemonade is always a must, and if they have bread, the tortas are really good. My personal favorite is the Rancho-style breakfast burrito. Only thing I'd change is I wish they offered grilled chicken instead of just pulled. Simple walk-up spot, consistently good food, and easy to keep coming back to.

As one can imagine, we have seen many changes over the years here in Redlands, some good, and some not so good. But ... we could always count on Cucas to be GOOD and consistent with their food. However, we both have noticed that lately the burritos aren't the same, specifically the red and green burritos. I've always bragged that Cucas has the best bean/cheese burritos hands-down! But we've noticed that the beans are more dry and pasty now. Cucas' beans were always a little on the runny side all through the years and they were delicious! When I would cut my burrito in half, the beans would come pouring out a little bit ... yum! Not only are the beans now more dry and pasty, but when I order a green burrito, there is literally NO green sauce! I started ordering EXTRA green sauce, and there was still LITTLE to NO green sauce! And I always order sour cream as well, but lately there is a small little squirt at the very top of the burrito, and a small little squirt at the bottom of the burrito, with none in between! What the heck?? I'm sure they wouldn't make their own burrito like that, or their family member's burrito like that! I even started ordered EXTRA sour cream as well, but still there was LITTLE to NO sour cream! The old Cucas NEVER made the burritos like that. Seems to be some "shrink-flation" going on ... ? And let's not forgot that we are charged extra $$$ for the "so called extra" green sauce and sour cream! Unfortunately I will no longer order burritos from Cucas. New people moving to Redlands do not have a comparison, so they just accept this. In closing, I would like to say that the ground beef tacos are bomb! Lot's of meat, not skimpy, and also not skimpy on the sour cream for the tacos, only the burritos. So sad, I miss "old" Cucas from days gone by ... sniff sniff :-(

I grew up in Southern California (when I was not Vegan), and BZ Taco has all of the bright color, texture and punch of flavor that I remember from all my favorite SoCal Mexican restaurants! The portions are generous, with serve-your-own Pickled Onions, Jalapeños and Salsas on the counter. On this visit, I had the BZ Torta which is their signature Carnitas Torta cradled in their pillowy-soft Telera Bread. An incredible sandwich! The harmonious textures and flavors of the Bread, Vegetables and Carnitas danced with every bite. My cousin ordered the Fish Tacos and inhaled it like it was his last meal! We shared the BZ Nachos (Al Pastor). Last time, we had the BZ Esquite Fries, and as good as the Fries were, the BZ Nachos took this mixed bowl concept to another level. BZ Taco is a small (blink-and-you'll-miss-it) restaurant with big, bold flavors located on the opposite corner of Trader Joe's in this strip mall. A wonderful All-Vegan Mexican restaurant.
