If you've never had a cheesesteak from Delancey's, you are missing out and need to go as soon as possible. For around $15, you are getting actual thin sliced ribeye (not that frozen crap most places give you). The grilled peppers, onions and mushrooms topped it off. Perfect amount of cheese, this thing was incredible. Sit in the bar area for a less formal experience and watch some games with a beer or two. Highly recommended spot for lunch. Haven't tried dinner there yet, but looking forward to it. read more

Just your regular neighborhood bar. The nice thing about Delancy's is that they have Interbets on location. Interbets is an OTB location that shows racing all over the country that you can wager on. The BAD thing about Delancy's is that they NEVER have the money to pay if you win. Take this advise: Never, Never, Never settle up with your server until your ready to walk out the door. Horrible customer service!! We waited incredibly long for both apps and dinner and then when the dinner came it was cold. This is not the first time this has happened either. This place was great. The bar is to the right when you walk in and is what you would expect in a bar. The dining is to the left and very pleasant. Our waitress was very nice and was asking for refills at the perfect times making sure none of us were on empty. Our food was good. We had a bread basket with cornbread and regular. I ordered the penne vodka with chicken and very much enjoyed it. For dinner the table had a strawberry shortcake type dessert and it was gone relatively fast. I found myself in Goshen on Saturday night in June for an event the next day. Delancey's is in the heart of quaint Goshen. The bar was hopping because of the Belmont Stakes Horse race. I sat at the other bar by the dining room. The servers were friendly. I ordered Thai chili shrimp which was large, breaded, and very good overall. And the Kung pap chicken dumplings that was a special. They were good too. Overall an enjoyable experience. read more

Went here 5/14 2019 with friends, to celebrate my Hubby's 60th Birthday. To start drinks were good and hot wings were great!! After that our dinner went down hill real fast!!! My hubby's chicken marsala was soooooo horrible it was like rubber !!! Are you kidding me!! Sent it right back in a flash.....waitress apologize hubby order a cheese burger that was ok. Now my friend ordered salmon which came back totally raw I mean really!! Did the chef quit? Came time for the bill waitress took off my friends dinner and and a lousy 10% off the entire bill!! Food was good. Not sure why I was charged a cutting fee for cupcakes ($1.50 per person). When I approached and questioned it I was told it's your procedure. I brought cupcakes and handed them out myself. Did not even refrigerate them at your location. Very disappointed from a local customer who eats lunch there approximately once a week. read more

I usually prefer Kelly Jean's, but they are closed on Tuesday's. Very accomodating bartender. It is hard to maintain a keto diet, while eating out. Their wings are coated in flour, so I had to settle for grilled chicken. I love their new location. They moved here a few years back. read more

I have been going to Delancey's for years for the white sangria and Thai chili shrimp! Today my daughter's baby shower was held there, and I can't say enough good things! The manager was so easy to work with, the wait staff was accommodating, patient, efficient, and friendly, and the decor was lovely. The highlight was the food! Guests raved about their meal, which consisted of wraps, salads, grilled vegetables, caprese skewers and rolls. Presentation was lovely, and the price was very reasonable. Delanceys is a must visit restaurant. The food is phenomenal, the service is beyond outstanding, the staff is willing to jump through hoops of fire to accommodate your needs. I can't even express how horrible our experience was. This was our first time at Delancey's and always heard great things...not sure why. We went with some friends and sat at bar, ordered some drinks and burgers. The bar was practically empty. 45 min into our wait, the bartender let us know our food should be out soon. 15 min later, we informed her we'd like the check for our drinks, it had been an hour waiting for food and we couldn't wait any longer. She apologized and said the manager would be right out. Well, the manager came out with a vengeance. He was incredibly rude, asking us "how long do expect food to take?" and continued to argue with us in an extremely accusatory fashion as if we had done something wrong, instead of being apologetic that we had waited an hour for burgers that we never got. I have never been treated so poorly in an establishment I haven't even eaten at. Needless to say, we will not be back. This was my first time here. My food was alright. My problem with this place was that they did not have a changing table in the bathroom. Not that I think all restaurants should have one but they advertise that they do weddings and showers so one would think they would accommodate Mothers who may be there. The thing that really irked me was after I went to the first bathroom the girl at the front advised me that it was in the other bathroom. I had to bring my baby through a busy bar area and guess what...no changing table. I told the girl on my way back out of the bar and she said, 'oh, they must have taken it out.' No sorry or anything. The wings are delicious but the wait time for your food is horrendous. It took an hour to get a dozen wings and then another hour for a cheeseburger and a pasta dish. I finally got a chance to check out the new location. The new place is beautiful, so i had high hopes for my dinner. From the moment I walked into the restaurant I was EXTREMELY disappointed. I was met with a very condescending attitude from the hostess as I told her that the rest of my party would arrive soon. She wouldn't even seat me until the rest of my party arrived. I tried to ignore her attitude, as the rest of my dinner might be better. I couldn't have been more wrong. I've never encountered such slow service in my life! I've had to wait 25-30 mins for a good meal before, so I stayed patient. But 45 minutes for dry, tasteless chicken!? If I wanted food that tasted like garbage, I would've cooked myself... Horrible service, horrible food, terrible attitudes, and an all around bad experience. i will NEVER be coming back to Delancey's again. read more

The manager stated that they were behind since his other waitress called out and the kitchen was behind since the bar was full. Another words one excuse after another. Came here on a Wednesday evening as a group of six and over the next 45 minutes 5 more people joined our party. There were at least 4-5 people waiting on us yet everyone was stressed out, and half of the party had to ask for silverware and share plates. they didn't have to ask for drinks though, our server was on top of drink orders AND food orders. The kitchen however did NOT cooperate and it left our server apologizing for a majority of our stay. there were many bus people and they were like slugs. I felt bad for the waiter. Two of the people that ordered meals waited too long and had to leave. When the food finally came after 90 minutes everyone was happy. The food was good. The wings were the breaded and fried kind ... and even though they're not my normal choice I found them meaty and yummy. I got the grilled chicken and it was fantastic. Great margaritas too. Used our room keys (where my business colleagues and I were staying) to get a discount. The high points are the outdoor seating overlooking a track, (must be awesome when there's a race) the waiter, and the food. Will come back and try again! read more

Looking for a great steak? Forget about the fine dining steakhouses that charge $35.00n plus for a 12 oz steak dinner that does not include a salad or sides. We had a crusted sirloin and and a hanger steak here. It included a salad, (we upgraded to caesar for $1.00) and choice of potato & veggies. Total bill including 2 house wines each plus a 20% tip was $95.00. Ally was our bartender and took good care of us. Next time we are in the area we will be sure to stop in. We had a great meal on a Friday night. My husband had the veal parmigiana and I had one of the specials the pumpkin gnocchi. My husband liked his meal and I loved mine. It was not a overpowering pumpkin flavor, just perfect. The best part of my meal was it came with shrimp and they took the tails off the shrimp. How I appreciate that. I hate having to cut off the tail (wasting good seafood) or use my fingers to take the last bit of the shell off. The salad was a bit small, a few extra greens would have done the trick. First time in the beautiful new location. Sat in the bar room surrounded by televisions. It was amazing. I had the crab cake appetizer which was one of the best things I ever ate. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Delanceys.. The dining room is beautiful and a nice option separate from the bar. The thai chili wings are the best wings we have ever eaten. Crunchy, sweet, and hot all in the same bite! The mushroom ravioli was divine, and plentiful enough I took leftovers home. The bus boy was one of the nicest teenagers we have encountered in a long time. He was polite, attentive, and circled the room the entire time we were there to make sure everyone had all they needed for a pleasant dining experience. The timing of the service was perfect, and the bill was reasonable for such great food. We will recommend to friends, and definitely go back! read more

When Delancy's moved to their new location I think it was very smart. Great location, fine dining room with a tap room/sports bar. Food is excellent and they have since the move decorated nicely. Where I have an issue of late and where I see an area that needs improvement is their level of service. They girls behind the bar and waiting on tables should be more attentive to people waiting, be a little more on top of delivering timely service. I have been there a number of times waiting for service, having to ask for a menu. I have a number of friends who have made the same statement. Personally I don't think the manger there does much of anything to keep the staff rocking and providing timely service. A client should never have to ask for another drink or be waiting for their server to get back to them. Make those few changes and I think it would difficult to find a nicer place relative to ambiance and quality of food. And for what its worth I right this review as a business owner with over 20 employess....so I know a think or two about motivating employees. read more
