The parking can get tricky around the business park it is in, if you are lucky the side street in front are open. The building has an Irish pub aesthetic and the service is friendly. The finger food... it's exquisite. Such a great place for a default entree of delicious proportion or a cheat day of finger foods such as nachos, loaded cheese fries, mozzarella and chicken fingers. They are served hot and delectable. The salads and entrees are very good as well, at least in my past experiences. However this go around was straight appetizers goodness at a fair price. read more

Went here while we were in town visiting Legoland. Wanted to spend some time at local businesses instead of eating at the park. The food and service at Kelley Jean's was excellent. I had the Cobb Salad. My wife had the French onion soup and wings. The kids had burgers. We got dessert for the kids - the rainbow cake was a nice colorful treat. The cheesecake was delicious. Dinned here with parents while visiting the area. Easy, free street Parking right outside. We were seated at the window. Staff was friendly and helpful. Started with the seasonal Pumpkin martini cocktail, which was DELICIOUS! Might be better to order after meal unless you like to eat desserts first. Then ordered the rib eye, which was good. The hamburger was on the dry side. The cobb salad was a good size and prepared well. But the winner was the super yummy pumpkin cheesecake! read more

Caesar wrap was solid, nothing crazy. Came with like 10 fries and a pickle. This place has good food. But I've got to give you 3 stars cus you gave me food without any utensils, any napkins. I mean do you expect me to eat a salad with my hands? Should I wipe my mouth with my sleeve? Luckily the front desk at our hotel had some utensils to spare. read more

Stopped into this place to hang out with some friends at the bar and while I didn't order any food what I did see friends eating looked really good. We hung out at the bar and had drinks for a few hours so while I did sample the retail booze (e.g. beer and liquor) I wasn't exactly hungry for actual food. I like how this place is neatly split down the middle with a seating divider that kind of separates the bar area to the dinning/restaurant area. Late evenings they have live bands because they did so the evening I was there. Overall not a bad spot but again this tends to be the "bar" scene for the friends I was with but more like the warm up spot before the group moves on to the real bar. Hehe! read more

I was surround in a positive environment of positive people, finally. Food is the international unspoken common language as humans we need to eat to survive. With good friends I had the pleasure of meeting a very welcoming local family and were immerse in good quality authentic Irish cuisine. Friends meeting friends. The daily special for St. Patrick's Day was a separate menu as well as their drink menu, but do not contain the price listing. Shepherds Pie with beef $17 This is my entree which was served piping hot and very filling. Bangers & Mash for two Irish sausages with mashed potato and gravy appeared flavorful, but I never really had a strong liking for mashed potato. Irish Nachos entree is mammoth in portion size as the waffle fries are enormous covered with melted cheddar cheese, corned beef and chopped green onions. Corned beef & cabbage dinner appeared too much cabbage involved which overpowers the beef and the red potatoes were refreshing, but the carrots were very minimal. Irish Soda bread was ordered, oddly, tasted somewhat sweet but traditionally is not intended to be sweet. Customer service is attentive to our party of seven to constantly fulfill our drink orders. Kelley Jean's Restaurant is a very casual and phlegmatic disposition atmosphere where the wait staff do not rush patrons to exit nor do they aggressively push to order more food or drink to increase the total of your bill. My red wine of Syrah was paired well with Shepherds Pie, but I was hoping for either Sangiovese or Chianti. Children's meal selection is also available. Happy Hour is available during the week (no weekends). "The jacks" or restroom facilities are not overall clean as one stall was contain detritus strewn all over the floor and was completely out of toilet paper. The supply of hand soap was low as the staff does not conduct routine checks for amenities and cleanliness especially on a busy evening. I was hoping for live traditional Irish entertainment of music with Irish uilleann bagpipes complete dressed in traditional kilt for an authentic look. Thankfully no boisterously loud music was playing in the background as Kelley Jean's is conducive for conversation without patrons shouting across the table. Multiple TV screen playing variation of sports are blasted on all TV's as this holiday gather families and friends together in unity for good food, drink and each other's presence. Soft Irish Celtic music was playing in the background, but I was hoping to hear "Be Thou My Vision," an Irish hymn. Business cards are available for keepsake. My wife's friend told her about this establishment, since off the beaten path of Goshen "Main St" I had never known of Kelley Jean's. Upon arriving @ 5pm on a Saturday night I thought that the restaurant area was very empty....the bar was doing pretty good with a few couples and one group of friends. The atmosphere was popping with friendly sounds which I love, especially in a local place since it makes you feel good to have a great meeting place so close to your home. We were immediately greeted by a very pretty young hostess who brought us to our very clean large table and booth with perfectly designed privacy dividers from tables on either side of you. Our waitress showed up no less than a minute of us sitting down and was very polite in taking our drink order. Drinks arrived just as fast as she did to take the order...very cold and most importantly, in very clean glasses! Let's get to the food. 1 Irish Nachos...AMAZING! 2 Rigatoni Al A Vodka...looked so delicious...my 22yr old pasta loving son liked it so much, he couldn't believe we were in an Irish place and not a good Italian joint. 3 NY Strip Sirloin...One of my most favorite cuts of beef even over the Filet because of the more dense texture while chewing. I ordered it Medium, it came with very thin garlic string beans and a perfectly cooked baked potato, my only gripe was the two plastic sealed butter cups tossed on the plate for the potato, this was the only disappointment of the dish, come on guy who owns this place, scoop some butter in a small stainless side cup for a much better presentation to your beautiful food. Btw, by the time we were just finishing up the place became packed with all ages and I think they were needing our table for other patrons as I gladly paid the bill. read more

I used to enjoy coming here with my family, but it has changed quite a bit in more recent years. The menu never changes, and the quality of the food is not great. Many of the booths are ripped also. It could be a great spot if they focused on improving the menu. read more

Been going there for years but seems to have changed. Arrived to pick up my order and was told that the kitchen lost my order. No problem. Mistakes happen. We are human. They said it would be 15 minutes. 25 minutes later I got my food. Thought they would have at least offered me a drink while I waited but no, they didn't even take anything off the bill for my inconvenience. Then I got home and saw that the bread on my sandwiches was burnt. Lots of great food in Goshen to chose from. Don't think my family will be returning. read more

When we walked in the bathroom at the end of the meal, my friend said "now you can write that the bathroom is nice and spacious." Well, that is true. But there was no soap, and only one of the two sinks had running water, and only cold water at that. The place was close to empty when we arrived. No hostess at the door. So we walked towards the outdoor garden area to request a table there. We were asked whether we had a reservation. We did not. The waitress was unsure as to whether or not should be able to seat us. (Only two tables were occupied in the spacious yard.) She walked away, returned with menus, and as she was about to lead us to a table, she said "next time wait at the front." I think we should've left then, but I wrote her rudeness off to immaturity. We placed our order relatively quickly, although they were out of the entrée that one friend requested. (There were 4 of us.) We suggested that the waitress please put in the order she had thus far, and then come back for the fourth dinner entrée. That happened in a reasonable amount of time. We got water and a couple of drinks all around. And then we waited. And waited. And waited some more. Our appetizer arrived, we ordered only one. We had to ask for utensils and plates. And shortly enough thereafter the entrée the waitress had to return for was brought to the table. And then we waited waited waited. We eventually called the waitress over and asked about our other three meals, and she gave such a disorganized defensive response about having held back for her order -- frankly I'm not sure what she said, it made no sense. She also said the kitchen was very busy. Where was the apology for the delay? Did I mention that the place was barely populated? Anyway, as our friend whom we had encouraged to eat her meal while it was warm was about to finish, a good 20 minutes or more after her food was delivered, I got up to go inside. At that point they were just walking out of the kitchen with our food. I mentioned, yes, in a rather perturbed tone, that our friend was about done eating. No graciousness no apology just the food plopped onto the table. The food is mediocre to poor. Many a good diner serves greener, fresher salads, and more generous portions of fries accompanying far better meats for sandwiches and hamburgers. Here's an important note: I ordered a salad and, rather than shrimp (offered on the menu) as an add on to the top of my salad, I asked if rather than getting fish and chips I could just get the fish as an accompaniment to the salad. I reiterated several times I wanted it instead of the shrimp, and would pay an up charge if there was one, but I did not want the fries, ie not the whole entree. When the bill arrived I was charged the full nearly $17 for the fish and chips entrée. One piece of fried fish. By then however we had been at this remarkably ungracious and ill-staffed place for way too long, and I didn't want to debate the issue. One friend and I split the bill in half. I told her I would not be leaving a tip on mine given the ridiculous charge for my fish, and the overall service. I don't know what she did. Quite minor given the other stuff, but the three tables of people outside, our selves included, were sharing catchup and mustard bottles. As a community we had apparently all given up on our waitress. Needless to say we will not be returning. Craft 47, a short walk away, will get our business. read more

Kelley Jean's is what I would consider an upscale, family-friendly pub. A 21-seat bar with ample booth and table seating dominates the dining room. The bar is beautifully finished with a dark stain, which gives a really warm ambiance when you enter. This would be an awesome place in the winter to spend a paycheck boozing away at the bar. I came for a Monday afternoon lunch, and ordered a BBQ burger while I sat at the bar. My order, and 5 of my co-workers' orders all came out the same time, nice n' hot. I f'ing love when a restaurant humbly describes their food on a menu. For instance, describing a "BBQ Burger" as a patty dressed with cheddar cheese, bbq sauce, and onion rings. What I got, was a burger on a perfectly toasted roll, with a thick (possibly hand-battered) onion ring, and a special BBQ sauce. I'm not sure what kind it was, but it definitely wasn't generic and it definitely was delicious. The point here is, Kelley Jean's went the extra mile for delivering a quality meal. Whereas some restaurants would over-promise and under-deliver, Kelley Jean's did just the opposite, earning themselves not only a full, but returning customer. read more

On Monday night's there is a board gaming group that comes in and takes over about a quarter of the restaurant. I'm not complaining, I'm part of the group. there is alos outdoor seating in the back. Service even with such a large group has always been excellent. the bartender knew what I liked after the second visit. The food is American pub fare, with an Irish theme. Irish nachos are a heart attack on a plate. Waffle cut fries, drowned in nacho cheese with big hunks of corned beef. It's really good. I like the wings which are meaty and hot and not over cooked. Burgers have also been very good. They have a selection of local beers, Pine Island Scottish Ale is a particular favorite, brewed locally. Prices are very reasonable. read more

I visited this restaurant yesterday with my Daughters and was so surprised when I entered. The ambiance is very nice; large open area and plenty of seating. I never saw so many TV's in one establishment. Our assigned waitress was excellent; the food and drinks were delicious. Looking forward to returning here often. read more

Visited twice recently, both for lunch. Was able to be seated immediately, but food seems to take a very long time to be served. First visit was a buffalo chicken wing salad and second was a Reuben sandwich with sweet potato fries. The salad was pretty good but the Reuben and fries were eh. Fries were small and the sandwich seemed like the cheese was melted in the microwave or was premade. The staff is nice though. read more

Found this place while driving around Goshen looking for somewhere to eat with outdoor dining. Couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. The food was great and our waitress was excellent. I really expected "more" from a restaurant in Goshen. Shrimp Cocktail that was served on ripped up lettuce not fully de veined, obvious by its texture that it had been frozen for some time. Flat Iron Steak chewy with zero flavor. Sausage Bowtie bowl another dish not only with zero flavor but with less than 1/2 a sausage link. Three times it was requested for dipping sauce Chicken Tenders that had the taste of SUPER old grease. The bartender over pours by a lot making a Jack & Coke taste like you're drinking gasoline. The staff was barely rate-able ok The waitress asked me how my meal was and looked stunned when I told her, with nothing to say no chef, no manager just nothing. Anyway it was a huge disappointment despite the number of stars they have on Google & I won't be returning. read more

We went, 5 of us, to enjoy the atmosphere and celebrate St. Patrick's Day. We arrived and ordered drinks, then shortly we ordered food. 65 minutes later our food had not arrived while others who arrived after us got their food. We ask to speak to the manager and 5 minutes later the waitress with our food in hand returned with the owner. She said sorry we are really busy, I ask why people who came in after us got their apps and their meal before us and she just shrugged. Some of our meals were not really hot. This place is a nice contrast to the historic vibe of Goshen. It was much larger and more modern inside than I expected. They have a lot of flat screen TV's with all of the games on, nice roomy booths, and very clean/modern look. As far as the food goes, I have had the wings and the cobb salad and they were both really good. My friends ordered the soup and burgers and loved them. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive so I am not really sure why someone was unhappy with their service. The one thing I do agree with is that there needs to be a sign outside!
