The whole team was really nice. Recovery Leas the only reason it didn't get 5 stars. They didn't have a bed for me so I had to stay there for 4 hours and it was very noisy. I was transferred to Jane who identified herself as the front desk person. I asked about the number of medical staff in the practice, and how referrals are handled. Jane wasn't friendly and treated me as if she didn't understand why I would be asking questions about the practice. I asked to schedule an appointment, and Jane told me someone would call me on Monday (it was Friday) to schedule an appointment. I asked if I could make an appointment right then, and she said, "No." I never received a call from CIM. Based on other reviews found on Yelp, and my experience with CIM, I suggest finding another more reliable medical practice.

Unsafe Medical Advice and Lack of Compassion for Senior Care…read more I am writing this to caution other caregivers managing complex medical needs for senior parents. My mother was a patient at this practice, and the experience was deeply concerning. The Medical Advice: When I sought guidance with Jennifer Miller on how to safely wean my mother off a psychiatric medication (Cymbalta) that was causing extreme issues, the provider's advice was to stop it abruptly ("cold-turkey"). I was told to simply "let her go through withdrawals" and take her to the ER for an IV if she began vomiting or became dehydrated. As an advocate for my senior mother, I knew this was unsafe and unacceptable advice. My request to use a slow, compounded tapering method was completely ignored. The Outcome: I had to seek outside specialist care to find a safe path forward. After finding a new care team that supported the slow, compounded taper I had researched, my mother is doing significantly better. The extreme "crash and burn" cycles she was experiencing have stopped, and she is much more alert and present than she has been in months. The Office Environment: The lack of professionalism from Jennifer Miller's nurse was also a major issue. While trying to resolve a critical prescription delay for a medication my mother needs to eat (due to an esophageal condition), I was met with sarcasm and told, "We have other patients." My private concerns were repeated within earshot of others in the office, which was completely unprofessional and dismissive. Final Thought: If you have a loved one with sensitive or complex needs, please be your own advocate. We have moved to a new primary care physician and a psychiatrist who actually listen. My mother is finally in safe hands, no thanks to this practice.

I called to make my yearly appointment for a physical. Spoke with both Michelle and Jackie. They both first asked me to tell them the name on top of the card, they did not need the subscriber number or group number just the name. They both asked me where I purchased my insurance. This is when they told me I could not see my doctor because I bought insurance from the Marketplace and they do NOT accept it. I said to them, why does it matter where I purchased my insurance your website clearly states you accept Blue Advantage. Bad office. They are terrible. I hope the doctor is unaware and isn't encouraging it. I hope the licensing agency looks into these two employees because they are discriminating against us.

The front desk staff is amazing. The lab ladies are awesome. There are some exceptional nurses here. I wasn't completely satisfied with the way that my care was managed by the first practitioner and am now much happier after an easy switch. This office made that change easy and guilt-free. Referrals have been an issue in the past as both times I was referred elsewhere, it took many weeks to months to be seen. There was also an issue with not getting a returned call from the nurse but this appears to have an isolated incident. These appear to be the consequence of the pandemic. Overall I am happy that my family is here and recommend this practice. We feel well cared for by Tabitha, a HCP who listens and is patient, and her nurse.

A few days later I received a notice of a bill for the Botox which was paid for at the time of the visit. I had to call back 3 times to get this resolved. Then I received an explanation of benefits from my insurance for the Annual Exam. I have an Dermatology visit every year because I have had skin cancer and it has ALWAYS been covered. This year the EOB said I owed $175. I called Blue Cross to explain it was an annual visit and they indicated the office did not bill it that way. When I called the billing department for the office they said they are a specialty office and don't bill for annual visits, they bill as office visit and because I had one area frozen they considered that a procedure. Absolutely insane, I have areas burned off at EVERY annual visit and it is all covered, it is a skin check, at a dermatologist....and I have NEVER BEEN BILLED because annual visits are covered. But they keep coming back with lame excuses that they are a specialty doctor, yeah a dermatologist, and they don't file for annual visit. Really the worst interaction I have had with an office in a very long time. I belong to the North Brunswick Newcomers Club committee with over 500 members and I can guarantee you I will be mentioning this business at our monthly meetings and it won't be to frequent this business it will be to avoid it at all cost.
