The lady who helped me explained that during the pandemic New Balance had temporarily halted production and that they were only now starting to make and ship shoes. She measured my feet and recommended I try Brooks. She taught me how to tie a secure knot at the ends so that my ankles would be supportive. The shoes felt very good and then I inquired about orthotics with a metatarsal arch for support. She showed me one pair and had to order my size. Along with that she recommended a pair of beach sandals by Birkenstock which would give me more support than ordinary flip flops. I'm allowed to try out my purchases for two weeks as long as I don't take them outside in the event I wish to return them. The very next day I got a call from them telling me that my orthopedic inserts had come in. Sanaljon carries all the top shoe brands and they carry specialty shoes, diabetic shoes, socks, and pretty much everything for you footwear needs. Expect to pay more here because you are buying name brand and quality. Am very happy with my purchase and will shop here again for my shoe needs.

While I just started a new thing to try to improve them, a side effect has been to make my feet hurt more than they ever have, to the point that I feel like I'm walking, painfully, on little river rocks. Ouch, so much. I went to a different foot doctor a month or 2 ago, and I left feeling that he had helped me not at all, and that it was time for him to retire. But I saw the rave reviews for Dr. Facaros, and I decided to give him a try. Well, let me tell you, Dr. Facaros is THE guy!! He bounced into the exam room and greeted me like he'd known me for years, so I was instantly comfortable. Here's how down to earth he is: HE took off my shoes and socks, and, noting a little mud on one of them, HE CLEANED IT OFF THE SHOE. I was astounded. He told me ( the other guy did NOT) that I have not only flat feet, but incredibly flat feet. The bad news is, it's permanent and won't get better. BUT, he gave me great advice, such as getting better shoes, including specific shoes to check out. Then he explained about shoe inserts and the correct one to help my feet particularly, and the alternative of custom-made inserts, and the prices of each. And guess what? He DID NOT try to talk me into buying a bunch of expensive stuff! Not only that, he actually GAVE me a set of the proper inserts. Yeah, GAVE!! Because he saw how much I needed help. Now that''s a great doctor, and a damned good person as well. When I need to, he's the guy I'll be going to see, and meantime, I'll be telling EVERYONE about this great doctor!!

If you're on your feet all day, this is also the place, although I don't know if they carry the steel-toed boots people in some occupations need. But if you work in a hospital, retail, restaurant, or similar, they carry dozens of beautiful and fashionable styles you will love. People who just love really comfortable shoes and sandals will also find a lot to love. What really stands out, though, is the customization they can do. That includes everything from heel lifts to platforms for those with one shorter leg to fully custom molded shoes. I would imagine they could do just about anything else one might need or just want, too, and they can also do just regular shoe repair, although that is clearly not their main niche. They will also make needed adjustments even to shoes or boots you have bought elsewhere, so steel-toed boot wearers, take heed. I had had to quit wearing my beloved Birkenstocks because although I love the support of their footbed, arthritis in my feet was making the amount of depth too painful. Mark (the lovely and really helpful owner) suggested inserting a thin pad between the insole and the cork main body of the sandal. That totally solved the problem and gave me plenty of cushioning while still leaving my feet fully and securely supported as only a Birkenstock can do. Years later, they are still perfect, and my feet have never hurt again in them. The showroom is big, spacious, bright, and sunny thanks to multiple large windows. The store is also fully wheelchair accessible - yay! And great bonus - they have parking behind the store! They are also right on a couple of major bus lines, so they should be reachable from almost anywhere for people who don't drive. It can get really busy, and with the customization they often do and the extra attention that requires, and AFAIK, only one or two people working, there can be a bit of a wait for your turn, so just leave plenty of time for your visit, especially if you know you will need any sort of modification. Great store, great location, great selection, and great people and service. What's not to love, for anyone who loves really comfy shoes?

The office took an xray of her foot and the doctor performed a procedure on the sole of her foot. The doctor did not address the bunion. In speaking with Tina , the billing agent for Greentree Foot and Ankle, she agreed that the doctor did a procedure, that did not involve the bunion, but because my wife mentioned her bunions, that is the way the claim has to be coded, I told Tina, that the claim needs to be resubmitted, with different codes, to reflect the actual procedure. Keep in mind, the doctor did not perform a procedure on the bunion, but on the sole of my wife's foot. Tina's response was that resubmitting with different codes would be fraud, because bunions came up in conversation between my wife and the doctor.
