It's not one of your better beaches, as far as the sand and amenities go, but the view is spectacular! Add to that, the fact that you are surrounded by water (Atlantic on one side, the Chesapeake Bay on the other.) You almost feel like you are on a remote island. (save the few 10's of thousands of people here.....) The bridge you take to get here (via Baltimore/ DC) gives you a breath taking view of the bay, and how little you are in this great big world. Unless of course you are the one driving, then it is scary as hell because you CAN"T look out to see the spectacular sites, as you sure as hell don't want to ever wreck that high up off the water..... Note: if my memory serves me right, there was ALWAYS a strong wind blowing no matter the time of year. on hot days when the temps are in the upper 90's its nice - other then that, it ruins the whole beach feel.

They mostly employ college students who graduate or otherwise leave in two years or less, resulting in constant staffing shifts throughout the year. It's hard for kids to constantly jump from one teacher to another, especially mid-year. My other issue is the cost. Monthly tuition for the classes isn't too bad, but some of the other fees are excessive. There's no question in my mind that they increase the price of costumes for their customers. Last year I paid over $200 for two costumes. If you're participating in the spring show, expect to pay a "showcase fee" of $145+. I'm not entirely sure what this includes besides four tickets to the show that you must purchase whether you need them or not, and a concert t-shirt, which wasn't even provided this past year. Was told there was an issue with the order and that they didn't arrive on time - however, that was nearly two months ago and I still haven't heard a peep about it. I also had to hear that info through the grapevine - no official announcement was made to the studio. They also require you to purchase all shoes, tights, and accessories through the studio. A pair of tights alone will run you $16+. I also noticed lots of nepotism, as the owner's granddaughter dances at the studio.

When I asked if I would get a refund for the recital outfit I was told no they would just credit my account. The offer to contact the company and try to get my daughters size was never provided nor another solution. The whole interaction was shrugged off like it wasn't important but when telling a 4 year old they will no longer be in the recital they have practiced months for it is. Will not return and agree with others. The accounting system is outdated and the owner/operator seems to only want the money but does not care about the quality of the program. During class there are no corrections of footwork or the craft of dance.

There is a kiddie pool, a smaller…read moreshallower area for those who can kinda swim and just need to be standing, and an area for adults and kiddos who are good at swimming. It was not that crowded when we went. The lifeguards were attentive and even told people walk, or not throw their kiddos. The bathrooms and showers were clean and they were even being cleaned that evening before closing. The staff all together were kind and helpful. If you are looking for a pool that is quiet, good lifeguards, no alcohol and is clean this is for you.

They were at first going to try the Yacht Club. That one is 18+ (more like 48+) which is not a bad thing except my young adults said they were afraid that if they even laughed people would stare. Not perfect due to the pricing for those renting a home at Ocean Pines. I understand there is an expense in maintaining pools, and that the owners pay fees, but the $9 per person per day without the ability to pool hop among their many pools if you don't like the one you started in is a bit steep. I think maybe $6 for adults and$3 per kids would be more reasonable, especially since the average stay is around 2 and a half hours. Still, it was clean , the people were pleasant, and my family had a decent time.
