First time to this awesome bayside beach!…read more Parking was a challenge and when someone across the street from the paid lot opened their yard to park for $20 all day, I was happy to pay. Easy to get to beach. Shallow calm water. There are many families and children (mid August 2024) and it was peaceful and chill. Clean gendered public toilets and outdoor shower if you need. Friendly life guards on duty. Lifeguard Trent was just wonderful to chat with and watch him help others with kindness and care. The Cape May ferry terminal is near and the ferry comes and goes. The Lion's club hosts a stand that rents umbrellas, rafts and other beach gear. They also sell hotdogs, pizza, icees and snacks. I had strawberry-lemon which was refreshingly perfect. Beyond-the-call-of-duty Lifeguard update! These pushy women sat beneath the lifeguard chair and after asking where the rental shack is about 10 times and being told--they said they couldn't walk there (it's not far) to get an umbrella. They whined and whined. Trent took the umbrella down from the lifeguard chair and set it up for them to use!!! So so generous of you Trent! I highly recommend this beach if you're looking for ease. Parking likely easier earlier in the day. I beached til evening!

This is the perfect family pool in the Ocean Pines area. It was not that crowded when we went. The lifeguards were attentive and even told people walk, or not throw their kiddos. The bathrooms and showers were clean and they were even being cleaned that evening before closing. The staff all together were kind and helpful. If you are looking for a pool that is quiet, good lifeguards, no alcohol and is clean this is for you.

My teenaged and young adult kids had a decent time here during the late morning/early afternoon…read more Not too many little kids, no rowdies, but also not "too quiet" like the Yacht Club pool was today. They were at first going to try the Yacht Club. That one is 18+ (more like 48+) which is not a bad thing except my young adults said they were afraid that if they even laughed people would stare. Not perfect due to the pricing for those renting a home at Ocean Pines. I understand there is an expense in maintaining pools, and that the owners pay fees, but the $9 per person per day without the ability to pool hop among their many pools if you don't like the one you started in is a bit steep. I think maybe $6 for adults and$3 per kids would be more reasonable, especially since the average stay is around 2 and a half hours. Still, it was clean , the people were pleasant, and my family had a decent time.
