HORRIBLE!!! I paid them a $75 deposit a month and a half before my move. The month of my move I didn't hear from them. I tried getting in contact with them many times the day before the move, and I also tried calling them many times the day of the move. They no showed , have not returned any of my text or calls. They also still have my deposit. they blocked my number , blocked me on Facebook, and blocked me on Venmo so I'm not able to contact them. BEWARE OF THIS SCAM. I'm not sure if I'll even get my deposit back since I've been blocked on everything. But it's more than the money. To me it's worth sharing my experience to ensure this doesn't happen to others. Luckily The two of us were able to move all the furniture out of our old place and into our new place. it just took us like 4 hours hahaha . It would of been a lot different situation if who they did this to was elderly, handicapped, or injured with no choice but to move their things due to a moving deadline. DELAWARE MOVING SOLUTIONS DESTROYED A HOUSE FULL OF MY BELONGINGS. I've moved 6 times previously, with no problems. This time I trusted Delaware Moving Solutions to pack my trailer. A 5-year-old could have done a better job loading: heavy boxes on top of (crushed) light boxes, furniture unwrapped and smashed together, boxes upside down and on their sides. Our elegant dining room set is completely ruined, every piece broken, gouged and scratched. To add insult to extreme injury, DMS ripped me off, charging me $100 for extra moving blankets, when they didn't use all the blankets I provided. Delaware Moving Solutions with two owners Damien and Daniel took a $200.00 deposit and after confirming numerous time prior to moving day they did a NO SHOW. They did not answer phone or text and seems they do this quite often. They often use Covid 19 as an excuse and seem to be the only ones who get Covid numerous times a year.I filed a report with the Milton Police Department who gave me a case number and will follow up with the Attorney General's Office. Stay away from these guy's and Delaware Elite Moving which is still them. read more

DO NOT USE this company EVER! They are unreliable. I hired Daniel Jude Wilkowski to pack my beach house. I rented a 25 foot truck and drove it from VA to DE to meet them. I spoke to them several times the week prior to the move. I confirmed they would meet me at the house on Saturday morning. I tried calling them several times and got now answer. DE Moving Solutions is an outstanding small company. Extremely competitive in pricing and quick to render a quote. They moved me into a three bedroom condo in 45 minutes. Not a mark on the walls or furniture and those two guys worked quickly without break until the job was finished. Would highly recommend them for a local move or longer distances. read more

Tried to hire local - BAD experience! Two weeks after he didn't show up for the move I still haven't got my deposit back and when I told him I was contacting the BBB, I got this VERY UNPROFESSIONAL response "No offense but you're not the type of client I want to move anyway after reading those messages so I am happy to give you your money back like I told you twice already". He claims he offered to move me the following day, but I have the email saying the following WEEK - which would have been after closing and I couldn't wait that long - I contracted OVER a month in advance. He said he was injured and I was initially sympathetic, but his excuse for not returning my deposit was that he had to pay his rent. Also, he had a "special" advertised for that weekend, so he evidently just didn't want to move me like he had promised. read more

This is possibly the worst experience with any company I've ever had. I've never written a review in my life but will in this case. I was having a few pieces of furniture moved - a couch, 3 little end tables, a chair with an ottoman and a dining room table with chairs . The dining room table had to be taken apart and put back together to move it - when the guys arrived the one Ollie was very nice ( I was so impressed with him I went to get tip money to tip him with when they left) . They put my table together but when they turned it over there were bubbles/cracks where the screws went in underneath.. when my boyfriend and I said something was wrong the one gentleman IMMEDIATELY started acting rude saying they didn't do anything wrong and saying they didn't screw anything in ( ummm you just did in front of us and you had to to put the table together). He continued to be rude until finally the other guy apologized. I tried to call owner and texted him but he never replied- this was at 5:30. Finally at 8:00 I texted him and he IMMEDIATELY became rude saying he was was his daughter and it was 8:00 - well he never replied and the incident had just happened 2 1/2hrs previously - I stopped texting him when he said he was with his daughter but he continued texting me for next half hour becoming ruder and ruder . He said he told me I had to have a contract signed by his guys which he NEVER mentioned to me and his guys never mentioned- I did get a contract from him but NO mention of having to have it signed. I was upset at time and said it was a $1500 table (purchased at Johnny Janosiks 2 yrs ago as a set ) when I got the receipt from them it was $1200 and I said sorry I made a mistake - which I knew I would have to provide a receipt anyway but he (the owner) said I lied about price of table- this man was just rude and condescending the whole time through text and never once apologized until I told him he hadn't apologized and even then it was done sarcastically. I wish I could post actual pictures of his text to me- I've never been so upset in my life. I paid the man and gave him his deposit like he asked and his company made the mistake but he was NOTHING but awful to deal with. He kept saying it was minor damage (they put big screws where little ones should have went and actually busted top of table) but then said he would have someone fix it but they would have to take it for 2-4 weeks - why would such MINOR damage take that long. My fiance and I were getting ready to move in Lewes, DE. Our new location was about a mile from our current location. I contacted Daniel at Delaware Moving Solutions for an estimate. $100 Deposit via check. Balance after move will being $450. Deposit was sent to location through mail. Deposit was cashed soon after. After securing a date, Daniel sent me about 3-4 invoices before information was corrected. Daniel offered boxes and tape per email and dropped them at my location at no cost. A few days before the move, I contacted Daniel via phone to ask him if he would like to do the move on Sunday May 14 due to storm warnings Saturday May 13. He was more than happy to switch the date. I reminded him that it was a Sunday and also Mother's Day and to see if our cost of the move would need to be revised. He stated that it was "not a problem at all and he wouldn't do that to me". We confirmed Sunday May 15th as our move date. I emailed him to set up a time - 7:30am to start the move. He stated that 9:00/9:30 was the average start for moves so I agreed that was fine. The night before the move (Saturday May 13), I receive an email from Daniel stating: Hey Stephanie I totally forgot tomorrow was mother's day and I have plans with my family who are coming in town. I apologize, and I can do your move on Tuesday. If this is unacceptable, I can do your move tomorrow around 11 1130. I responded to the email immediately saying 11:00/11:30 worked because my home was packaged and furniture all broken down for the move and Tuesday was not available due to work schedules. I received no response and Delaware Moving Solutions never showed up for my move. I called the location - no answer, mailbox full and no emails were not answered. Daniel responded later that afternoon after I spent 7 hours moving myself saying he told me he couldn't do it.
