I planned to use the Groupon for one visit and then just continue going to my regular dentist elsewhere. I however, was so impressed with the care at Greentree that I switched dentists. Doug Ferguson was my dentist and I thought he did an excellent job. He examined my jaw joints, which is something I've never seen a dentist do before. I also very recently had him do a filling and was impressed with how quick and painless the procedure was. I expected the numbing injection to be a bit painful like it has in the past for me, but a quick dab of topical anesthetic and I didn't feel the needle that followed one bit! Everything about this dentist and her office is swank. I feel kind of like I'm at a spa there. And the employees there speak of dental technology that sounds more cutting edge than anything at an Apple Store but in soothing and informative tones. Or maybe it sounds cutting edge because I'd gone without seeing a dentist at all for *mumblemumble* years until then. I've visited three times, and in addition to the standard cleaning and checkup, I've had X-rays, fluoride treatments, and most recently, a cavity filled. They have recommended treatments (like the fluoride) or extras (like a night guard), but they're upfront about prices, they don't pressure you, and they offer to check with your insurance company to see if it's covered. And did I mention it's like a spa? The decor is nicer than in most houses I'm ever in, and the chairs all have massage and warmer options, which they'll offer to turn on. Dr. Courtney's manner is professional and comforting; I've never felt anything but fully at ease with her and her staff. My insurance is about to change again, and I won't be able to return to see her unless I go out of pocket, but I'll come straight back if circumstances change again.

The only other dentists who accepted her insurance had shady reviews of scamming people about unnecessary cavities, or Nationwide Children's which has ridiculous wait times. I was so happy we found him, because the last dentist with whom she had an exam recommended three fillings. Dr. Gardner examined her and checked her xrays and said she only required one filling. Happy daughter! That was three years ago (2015) and she has not had problems with the other two teeth in which she was recommended to have fillings. I was traveling from out of town and the clinic was able to move some things around to squeeze me in. One of their staff came in on their day off so I could get a treatment before leaving town. You can tell the group genuinely cares about their patients.
