Then a few days later, I started experiencing intense pain from my tooth and my entire right jaw. I've always taken great care of my teeth and dental health, and had no history of this. I contacted Sampson after hours, as they claim many times on their website to offer emergency dental service. I received an email from Sampson saying that there is no way they could be responsible for my pain, even that they hadn't re-examined me. They also refused to be able to see me over the weekend, and said they would do their best for today, Monday. I had to pay out of pocket to see a Virtual Dentist who prescribed me antibiotics and told me I need to get into a dentist right away. I messaged Sampson again with this info, and they still did not help me, and could not confirm an appointment for today. So, I'm done with Sampson and have an appointment with a new dentist today. I have to pay out of pocket, but it's an emergency, and I was able to get in first thing this morning. I also am going to report Sampson to my health insurance provider and the Better Business Bureau. Do yourself a favor, and stay away from Sampson Dental.

If you plan to be treated by Sampson Dental Group make certain that you obtain pre approval from your insurance company and make certain you thoroughly read the Treatment Plan proposed by Sampson before signing. Keep good records until all claims are settled because if you are owed money from the practice you are in for a significant wait. Other than that it is a great place to be treated.

Right before we left the agreed to at least look at the tooth that was causing me so much pain. I will say they were very helpful in trying to find me a dentist that might accept my insurance.
