After so many years of inactivity in the gym, my body needed some therapy and assistance due to the lactic acid muscle buildup. Excessive hydrogen ions (in my muscles) were causing my workouts to be less effective and tedious due to the soreness and Ph levels. A good friend suggested a full body, one-hour, deep tissue massage at Inspirational Massage and Facial in Wesley Chapel and it proved to be the best remedy ever. The steps were simple and painless. The staff was very polite, courteous and accommodating. The treatment room was warm, inviting and serene. After I was comfortably dressed on the heated curved massage chair, the light tranquil sounds of piano, strings and flute of the music saturated the room. The ambiance took me to a peaceful place of relaxation; I begin my journey to healing and wholeness all in one. Preference of the massage was optimized by consistent interaction and feedback from the therapist as to the target muscle group expected, intensity of the location and preferences needed. I felt comfortable and in control the entire hour of the session. This massage was highly effective for me because it: 1. Released body toxins (by muscle fiber manipulation) 2. I've had a 90 min corrective massage by Adam Miller weekly for one month now, and have seen great improvement in my problem areas. I'm a three time cancer survivor with lots of scar tissue, nerve trauma and lymphnode issues. Adam took lots of time to learn my history, concerns, and plan an approach during our first visit (not included in table time), which included addressing the root of each issue and not just symptoms. He cares very much about doing his best for everyone who walks through that front door, and it shows. There's never a dull moment in our conversation either, which helps take my mind off the pain that comes with corrective massage for me. Though he's also very careful not to apply more pressure than necessary / I can handle. The room and heated table are comfortable, and Covid safety protocols are closely followed - much appreciated with me being immunocompromised. You also get your choice of music.
