The only thing I need to say is that I was extreamly impressed with the professionalism and reasonableness of Delcas services. I was very Happy! My daughter had backed her car into a car port space that had a 1/2 wall coming down from the ceiling. Its was not noticeable until it was too late, making a small dent in the hatch below the back window wiper. She has alway kept her car in perfect shape and was saddened. Being new to the area, I asked for referals from the "Nextdoor" app and received Delcas as an option. I then, called them and made an appointment for them to come out and look at her car for an estimate. They were right on time and made it very convenient to come to my daughters place to check it out. They went back and reveiwed the options with others at there business as this was not just a dent that could be pulled out (like I was hoping for) but needs extra help. I thought - oh man, Yikes! But, then they gave my daughter the quote and it was sooooooooo reasonable I couldn't refuse. We took the car them and dropped it off to get it repaired. But, I thought, since the car was out of service for a couple days that we could have a few other small things taken care off at the same time. So, I asked if they could do the following - these may sound small but, they perfected her car to be perfect again. The front license plate frame needed 2 bottom screws drilled to not be ripped off by the car wash. There was a back break light out. The car sits outside so it was time for a good waxing/detail and interior cleaning. Once again, they gave me a very reasonable quote and they rest is history. These guys came through for me in a big way. I was set to move overseas and ship my car on 12 Jan. A woman hit my car on the evening of 6 Jan, causing substantial enough damage that would not allow my car to be shipped and meet import requirements. Sunday morning I started calling dozens of collision centers in the Monterey area and leaving messages. Most never called me back. However, Delcas called me back on Sunday within a couple hours (even though they were closed). I sent them a few pictures of the damage and they said they believed they could get the car FULLY repaired (not just good enough for inspection but like I was never hit) in time for me to ship the car. I dropped the car off Monday morning and it was ready by noon on Thursday morning. They even drove me over to the Enterprise car rental location in Salinas. Communication throughout the process was outstanding. They replaced my front passenger fender, front bumper, and some components around the front passenger headlight and even painted. It looks like my car was never hit! I dropped my car off for international shipping on 12 Jan and it successfully passed all inspections! If the car had not been fixed, I would have had to leave it in the States and buy a new car overseas which would have been a huge financial expenditure. Thank you guys! This was a huge stressor that I did not anticipate less than a week before moving. I am so grateful for the support. My car was hit while parked and I thought I was screwed, I thought it was going to cost a ton and be a huge headache... I was wrong. I heard of Delcas from a friend and while hoping I didn't need the services from them when I did they took really good care of me. Nolan the guy at the front is really down to earth and normal- he didn't make me feel weird or awkward or as if they were about to break my pockets he was just nice. Michelle was the person who helped me with everything... man she was super smart and knew what to do all the way! She is the shop manager (I thought that was pretty cool by itself her being a young girl and all) She explained how to go about this with my insurance , so I didn't have to pay it all out of pocket. Not only that she told me the difference of collision insurance and comprehensive insurance so my rates didn't go up. To be honest she explained the whole repair so I could understand not just the way insurance and shop people do, she even told me some great places to eat locally as my fam is new to Salinas AND Murphy the car wash/detailer guy gave me a ride to pick up the loaner car at the airport (that Michelle coordinated with my insurance for me) he was so funny and nice its like a little family over there, i like it! Backed in to someone in a parking lot. Needed a new bumper cover and the insurance shop wanted a crazy amount. Called Delca's on a whim and David completely won me over during the first phone call. The shop saved my wife and I the trouble of a headache and the dink to our insurance. The new bumper cover was painted and installed in two days for about $600 less than the insurance shop (who we thought was inflating the price). Not only did they do the install to satisfaction, they detailed the entire car and had it back to the condition of when we bought it! I can't recommend David and Delca's more. AMAZING AUTO COLLISION REPAIR!!
