I ordered a vegan cake for my daughter''s 20th birthday. I sent a couple of pictures in and said I wanted it purple and light blue. This was the only bakery that had time. I ordered it on Wednesday...I ordered an 8" two layer cake with raspberry mouse filling. The cake was ready on Saturday. It looked very pretty with flowers and some paper butterflies on a light blue background, but had green piping all around the top and bottom. It read more green than purple. It was supercity though. They also made it three layers. The cake was delicious...very moist and fluffy with a great taste! Poor customer service. While my cookies looked and tasted great, I will not do business here again for a few reasons. Firstly, I was quoted one price and then charged another. By definition, once agreed upon by both parties, a quote is legally binding. It was unlawful for Angela to charge me more that she quoted me. I brought it to her attention, and rather than do the right thing, she continued to charge me the inflated rate. Secondly, I had a hard time corresponding with her and getting her to agree on a time/place to get my order. All along she knew when my party was and she made it seem like she was doing me some huge favor by getting order BEFORE the event and not at start time. She made me feel like I was inconveniencing her. Lastly, she accepted a credit card payment for the deposit, but would only accept cash at pick up. That seemed very suspicious to me. In summary, I will not do business here again. I also told everyone at the party to look elsewhere for their kid's party needs. What a shame considering she could have gotten quite a few referrals. My daughter's birthday is next month and I've already taken my business elsewhere. read more

I would not recommend this woman to any potential bride. THE OWNER, ANGIE, IS A NIGHTMARE! I should have known from the beginning when I didn't get a contract emailed to me when she had stated, BUT I had already put down a deposit. This woman never picks up a phone and can't be bothered to return an email. She claims she does, but none of the so-called emails she's sent me are in my in-box except one. Her professionalism isn't even lacking, it's non-existent. She is defensive from the get-go and instead of how can I make this right, she proceeds to make excuses for why it's not her fault. When I told her she could have picked up the phone to call me to discuss the issue if I couldn't get the flavor I wanted, and her response, IT WORKS BOTH WAYS, YOU COULD HAVE PICKED UP THE PHONE TOO! Seriously? My response, I did call and never got a call back. THIS WOMAN IS NASTY AND RUDE. Hey Angie, your business thrives on word of mouth. And I promise to be a loud voice against you. I guess that's why you don't allow for people to review you on FB. They did a pretty good job on our wedding cake but the fonduat bubbled and the cake topper fell off right before we cut it. The cake tasted good and they were present to work for. When it came time for our anniversary I was excited to get the free cake they promised in the contract. They simply ignored all calls and emails about the free cake. I would have saved the original cake too if I'd known they would not live up to their contract. I'm very disappointed, it seems once they have your money they don't need to respond to the customer any longer. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT sign your children up for this con artists "cooking classes!. She advertises them on her Facebook page stating the time from 1 to 3. My child and a friend attended her most recent one. They started cooking at 1:10 and my daughter was calling from her business phone asking to be picked up at 1:45, because they were finished. After confronting the owner, Angie, I was told that 1 to 3 is a "window." (Nowhere on her FB page is this pointed out) I'm sorry, I paid $40 for a 40 minute cooking demo? This woman couldn't play food trivia or play some games to entertain the class attendees until 3:00? As I arrived to pick up the kids, I witnessed another unhappy parent voicing her dissatisfaction. I work very hard to find fun and educational activities for my child to participate over the summer break. This allows me to get work done, but NOT when I have to leave what I'm doing to pick up my child 1hour and 15 minutes early. And after voicing my frustration to her and requesting at least a partial refund, she disabled the reviews and my commenting priveledges on her Facebook page. From the looks of it, I'm not the only one with negative things to say. HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE! Oh, and my child informed me that that before class started she threatened them all that if the behavior was anything like a previous class, she would end it and everyone could go home. Contacted them via facebook to order a cake and 3 dozen cupcakes for my anniversary. I was told i would be emailed a contract and I'd have to pay a retainer price which is fantastic. Well no contract was emailed so I contacted the shop 2 more times online and even called to leave a message and no response back. The thing is with facebook i saw my messages were read. What a freaking joke... let me start by saying that I work very hard for my money. So WAISTING $20 on this class is very upsetting!!! When you advertise on your website that the classes are from 1-3 it does not mean that as parents we are gonna be at her beck and call just incase they end early and our kids have to call us to get picked up. People actually plan errands or even work around that time frame. Now, there is no way in hell that her 30 minute "class" is worth my very hard earn $20.... on top of the horror stories that my child came home with about how unsanitary the place was and how rude the "instructor" was, she then refuses to give full or even partial refund. She handled herself poorly and due to that now she must deal with the consequences of bad reviews.... if things would have been dealt professionally then it would have never escalated to this but sadly there is no reasoning with her she just keeps emphasizing 100% none refundable. Yeah, well guess what? That was for a class from 1-3 not 30 minutes. She broke her contract and worse yet, her word. Very disappointed . Wouldn't recommend using this company if you want a professional 5 tier wedding cake. We paid over $400 for a cake that showed up half decorated. We informed them that we would have a photographer take pictures from a stage down on the cake. That didn't happen since the entire back was blank. This was never mentioned or in the contract. The tiers weren't the proper size mentioned in the contract either. It was a huge disappointment. Our cake cutting pictures are all ruined by a very sloppy cake. We were also told our anniversary cake would be delivered to our venue for us to take home and freeze. It wasn't there. When I contacted the company they informed me they don't offer that. I had multiple emails from them staying otherwise because I wanted the tier on my cake but they convinced me otherwise since they could package one for me. Their only solution offered was for me to pick a cake up from them for my anniversary. That doesn't work for us since we are a military family located in Ohio. Communication with this company was a real problem. Between not getting my emails and waiting weeks for a response. It's not worth the hassle when trying to plan a wedding. read more

This is one of the most unprofessional companies I have ever encountered. When I first E-Mailed the owner, I was told I could come in for a cake tasting and we both agreed on 3/14/15, but when I arrived at the location, she did not even remember I was coming that day, and had absolutely no samples for me or my fiance to try. It upset us quite a bit that we made the trip from Orlando all the way to Daytona which was an hour and 30 mins, and she did not even remember our appointment. The owner then proceeded to ask us to come back the following weekend and she would have samples for us to try so we had to drive all the way back out to her location the following weekend and hope she would actually remember our appointment which luckily that time she did. We then signed the contract and gave her the deposit for our wedding date which would be on 04/16/16. Later in the year, we decided we actually had to reschedule our wedding to 11/12/16 because the venue we wanted would only be available on that day. We immediately contacted the owner of Delectable Delights on 12/1/15 through E-Mail to ask her if it would be okay to change the dates. I waited about a week with no response from her so I decided to call her only to have her tell me that she received the E-Mail but had not had time to reply back. She told me she would reply back with the updated contract and price that night but I never received her E-Mail. I then waited a couple of days to give her enough time to send the updated contract but she never E-Mailed me so I decided to call her again. When I did, she told me that she had not had time to send the contract but she would definitely send it that night. Again I waited for the E-Mail that never arrived, and again I gave her a whole week to see if maybe she just needed more time to send the E-Mail. When I still didn't receive a response from her, I decided to call her again to find out what happened that had prevented her from sending me the updated contract. That time she did not reply and it went to voicemail stating that Delectable Delights was closed for the holidays, and that they would reopen on 1/6/16. I waited until 1/7/16 to try calling back but when I did, it again went straight to voicemail. I kept trying to call Delectable Delights for two weeks after that but every time I would call, it would just go straight to voicemail so I finally left a voicemail stating that I would give the owner one week to respond to me either by calling me or E-Mailing me, and if she did not, then I wanted to cancel the contract altogether and she could keep the deposit because this was extremely unprofessional and she was very unreliable. I never received a response from her to this day, and I am not exactly sure why she decided to never contact me. If she did not want to reschedule the date, I would have been fine with her telling me this as I stated when I first notified her about the schedule change, I said that I would understand if she could not accommodate this, but instead she told me she would be able to change the date and send me the contract, yet never did. The reason I am posting this is because I want to prevent this from happening to other happy couples who are only looking for a beautiful cake for their wedding. I went to Delectable Delights yesterday to pick up a birthday cake that my sister had ordered for her grandsons first birthday. I was told that the store would be closed for the day but the owner would be there doing prep work and I should call her when I arrived and she would open the door and let me in. She had told us between one and four would be perfect. I arrived at two o'clock, called her and left a message that I was standing at the front door. She never picked up the phone or called me back and someone working on the grounds told me she had not been there at all. We sent her several messages on Facebook as that was how we found her. She read the messages but never responded. After posting a comment directly to her page she sent a message that she would have me charged with slander and blocked me. Simply saying that she forgot about the order would have been acceptable but she chose to take a different route which is unacceptable! Publix bakery jumped into action and saved the day for the birthday party and will continue to get any and all of my families business. read more
