    Turkish Coffee

Was walking by and this little gem was calling me in. Traditional Turkish Coffee, a beautiful bakery case. Highly recommend.

Purple drink. Taste like a spiced tea, yum!

Yes go it's amazing. Everything I ordered was great. I'll definitely go again the next time I'm in Port Orange because I wanted try so much more. The owner was funny & provided the best recommendations. He obviously knows what he's doing; just great.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a lovely coffee and brunch place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everything was great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I just loved the Summit bagel with feta, tomatoes, and spinach. They have so many pastries, both sweet and savory, that looked fantastic. Couldn't leave without ordering a piece of baklava, a Kavla cookie and cheese pastry. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

I have only been here twice, but each time was a very pleasant experience. First time I have an expresso and the proprietor said to try the Turkish coffee. Which on my next visit I did. I had the Turkish coffee with baklava. The baklava was magical. There were people here having food too, which looked quite tasty. Especially the soup. Gotta come back here and try the food.

I had never been to a Turkish restaurant, but after a Yelp search, this one was so highly rated, I decided to go here for my birthday brunch. It was a memorable gastronomic experience. The owner was also the server. He was very friendly and convinced some of us to get Turkish coffee, a strong espresso served in a little cup. It has coffee grounds in the bottom, which we were not used to, but afterwards, he had us too the coffee cup over and he read our fortunes based on how the coffee grounds ran down inside the cup. The food was excellent. I had the best Greek omelette I had ever eaten. The Sweet Toast was like a French Toast smothered in berries and sweet cream cheese sauce. Yum! We were also given a sample of sweet Turkish tea and an "evil eye" bracelet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The reasonable prices, cozy decor, and delicious food are three reasons I will be back again soon.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I want to try their cake or pastry next time.

This is a very nice small cafe. Their hours are from 9:30 to 3pm Tuesday through Sunday. Their are a very traditional Turkish food venue with enough old fashioned American food too. We had the simit breakfast. It was delicious. We would recommend this cafe to all.

Ambiance was average but the food and service were both great. If I had room I could sit and eat the goodies all day.

We had the Lava bread and the select two which were the hummus and Muhammara which is a Puree of red peppers, walnuts, garlic, olive oil & pomegranate. $12 My husband ordered the Red Lentil Soup but he wasn't a fan, it tasted like Tomato Bisque. For our entree, I had the Lamb Sis Kebap which I shared with my mom and had enough to take home for lunch the next day. This was a big portion. My husband ordered the fried fish, it came with a big salad and rice. He said the fish needed some seasoning. The prices are reasonable for the amount and quality of the food. We also ordered Turkish coffee and the Kunefe which none of us had ever had and I must say it is my favorite dessert ever! The restaurant looks nicer at night. It has a better ambience. The lighting was super bright. Definitely had a great time and will certainly be back.

No matter which one I go to, the food is consistently delicious, making it one of my favorite spots for Turkish cuisine. I always start with the Lavas bread paired with hummus and yogurt dip. The warm bread is perfect for sharing and a must-order. My go-to entrée is the Chicken Sis Kebap with pickled cabbage, rice, red onions, and carrots. It's packed with flavor and never disappoints. The Winter Park location is my favorite, especially on a nice day when you can sit outside along Park Avenue. Great food and service, charming atmosphere, and consistently excellent quality keep me coming back. Highly recommend!

When we walked in, the restaurant was just starting to get busier and the staff seemed slightly unprepared for an influx of guests at that time. We stood at the door for a bit, unsure whether we were supposed to be seated, seat ourselves, or order at the counter first. If you are dining in, then they will provide table service. Once seated, we quickly decided what we wanted to order. My friend was excited to try their Turkish coffee and I was looking forward to trying their Turkish breakfast that I had heard great things about. If you love a good snack plate and enjoy nibbling on a variety of cheese, bread, fruits, veggies, etc. then the Turkish breakfast will be right up your alley. The Turkish breakfast includes cucumbers, tomatoes, bell peppers, a cheese plate with avocado and a fried egg, tahini and molasses, jam, Nutella, local honey, fresh fruit, apricot and walnuts, olives, zahter, ezme, butter, and kaymak. It was enough food for my husband & me to share. It's also served with one glass of Turkish tea and a basket sourdough bread. They're obviously known for their fresh baked sourdough bread and it did not disappoint. I can see why their bread is so popular and it was nearly already sold out for the day. While everyone we encountered was very friendly, the service was a little spotty, and no one ever came back to check on us once the food came. They forgot to bring the tea and Turkish coffee for my friend. Once we walked up to the counter to remind them, they brought it very quickly. No one ever came with the check, so we ended up paying at the counter. Not sure if that's the normal process, but it was unclear. Overall, we did enjoy it, but maybe it was just an off day from a service stand point.

Wait time for me was about 10-13 minutes on that Thursday evening. Ordered 2 Thursday Combo Specials which is a pita meal-- one chicken and one gyro, then sides were rice and babaganoush (came with 8 lil pita triangles). Also came with a sufficient-sized container of sauce in each meal-- love that it was not drenched all over the pita instead as the bread could get soggy. Portions were HUGE and it was SO delicious that I literally could not stop eating-- I ate my whole meal in one sitting. The gyro was tasty, pita bread had the perfect texture, babaganoush was very refreshing and like an eggplant salsa, and the gyro pita stayed warm (even when I ate it over 30 minutes after ordering/picking it up). I am sad to have just now discovered this, but better late than never!!! It's on the way home for me, so this place will now be my go-to for Mediterranean cravings.
