The Delhi Center is one of the City of Santa Ana's many community centers. I've been here a few times for different meetings and events. It's tucked away in a residential neighborhood next to a school. The center features outdoor areas, indoor event spaces and meeting rooms. The center hosts a food and diaper distribution program a couple times a month for the community in partnership with local non-profits like Second Harvest food bank and Community Action Partnership. There are also youth and senior programs offered here. What makes the Delhi Center 5 stars for me now is the addition of the new City of Santa Ana Library they opened on site! I stopped in last month while I was there for a work event to get a Santa Ana library card. Any California resident can get a card. read more

Booking was straightforward and easy to do. We booed the dance room as our preferred room was booked however it worked as it had plenty of room. The women in charge of booking was helpful and answered all questions. Security is handled by a third party and they were not as responsive(not their fault) but were ultimately booked and available for the date. Took a little longer than expected for my deposit so that's one area they can improve on. Overall good experience for the price and would book again if needed. read more

I just hosted my daughters quinceañera on 5/24 and if I could give this venue a million stars I would! We had about 300 guests and Freddy and his staff were beyond helpful, courteous, and just overall amazing. From the setup to the teardown, the party went completely flawless. They ballroom is huge with lots of space, air conditioning, a courtyard, a massive kitchen, clean bathrooms, and an outside bar area. We couldn't have picked a better venue to celebrate. We reached out to the Delhi Center about hosting an arts and music festival on a April 1st. They were very helpful on securing a date that worked for us cause we know they get booked quite often! The staff was courteous and gave us the day before to set up for the event, which helped to make things run smoothly the day of the event. The main ball room was big enough to host the music festival and the courtyard was plenty to showcase of some of the local artwork made by youth. This place was great because of the various breakout rooms that served as a green room and production room. There was also a backdoor which allowed for special guests to enter privately. * surprise guest Common * We were additionally able to use one of the breakout rooms to host a resource fair. Overall, we have great time at the Delhi Center and we look forward till the next time we can host an event here. read more

I've been coming here more and more lately because they have tons of activities. Not only for kids but for adults too. So far my kids have participated in ballet, soccer, and cheerleading. They also have adult educational classes such as computers, English, etc... Karate and computers too. Yes, it's in a kinda low income neighborhood, but this center is rich in people. read more

I just hosted my son's graduation C/O 2019 at this venue! I only knocked off 1 star as we did have a small hiccup in the beginning. Which was all fixed at the end of the day! Tensions were high that day, so they got the wrath of me and my siblings... Lord knows I've apologized by now, so let me just make that clear lol... We had about 300 guests and Freddy and his staff were beyond helpful, courteous, and just overall amazing. They ballroom is huge with lots of space, air conditioning, a courtyard, a massive kitchen, clean bathrooms, and an outside bar area. My guest couldn't believe how big this venue was and how accommodating everything was! My security detail was on point, and so was the staff that day. We had so much food, we FED EVERYONE!!! No one left my party hungry and we even gave out beer to the security detail lol... it was that serious for us! They were so awesome!!! We couldn't have picked a better venue to celebrate. Delhi Center is a good place they try to help the community as much as I can the staff that work there have a sweetheart for people in the community and they do their best to serve the people in the area. The Delhi Community Center, not only offers GREAT resources and classes for it's community but it also houses a hidden GEM! A 4,307 sq ft BALLROOM!!! Which can seat up to 350 guests. Santa Ana has many different event spaces for your quinceañera, wedding, events, etc. but this place really is Amazing, it has super high ceilings (so your quinceañera won't bump her head when she is doing all her crazy stunts to wow her guests during her baile sorpresa) and a stage (for the banda, or one of the many Sonora Show, Dinamita show, or what ever Sonora Dinamita Show you book). It also has a full restaurant style kitchen, which means, no matter what you decide to serve at your next big Pachanga (Fiesta/Party) be it Carnitas, tamales, mole, pozole, or any dish... it will stay warm and can be prepared in an area with plenty of space. But here is the BEST part, well at least I think it's one of the best parts of this facility and it's ballroom. THE RESTROOMS, they are neat and there are plenty of them. They are kept clean and don't smell like portable restrooms. Also there is plenty of parking and if you are creative or have a creative party planner, the possibilities are endless!!! My introduction to the Delhi Center was through one of their programs, the Achievement Institute of Scientific Studies. I was privileged to be a guest speaker at one of their summer workshops in 2005. The program is truly exceptional! It encourages low-income students to enter careers in STEM fields. All the participants were extremely motivated and excited to be part of this program, and the staff truly went above and beyond to ensure that these students were receiving all the academic resources to do well in high school and in college. I soon learned that Delhi houses over 40 other programs, including an after school tutoring program. I am very interested in education programs, and upon investigating further, I was pleasantly surprised that their model is one that has been proven effective by research. The program pairs an elementary school student with a high school or college mentor who stays with them each year through the entire program. One of own mentees is a mentor who has been able to take a leadership role in this program. This program helped him to become community oriented and to learn to love education and working with students. He was just accepted to UC Merced on a full scholarship. My brother volunteered for some time at Delhi Center last summer, too. This year, my cousins will be visiting from Texas over the summer, and they also want to volunteer or take some of their classes. Delhi Center offers ballet, mariachi, karate, self-defense, computer classes, art classes, cheer leading, ESL classes, soccer, a summer lunch program for youth, a senior program, and many more! read more

Great facility for community events. It's super new, super clean and super smack dab in the middle of a neighborhood. All sorts of community events go on here. Caters mostly to OC and Latino/Hispanic communities but I've been here for foster youth and community banking/financial literacy events too. read more

I originally joined Delhi Center's team as a volunteer and am now a Grant Writing Intern. Despite my previous experience with other nonprofits, Delhi did not fail to impress me. They are very professional and offer a large scope of services. One of the most rewarding experiences thus far has been tutoring for the K-8 after-school STEM program, Mathletics. It's proven to be a wonderful fit and a true learning experience. Cross-training and professional development is highly encouraged. I love this place! I came here today for a meeting on UCI Saturday Academy of Law, and let me tell you, it's huge & beautiful. The demonstration & the ballroom overall we're great, and the it's very spotless. I would defenitly recommend if you're ever looking for a place to have a presentation/speech come here! I've booked the Delhi Center Ballroom for work conferences a few times, and the staff are always very helpful. Freddy communicates well beforehand and if we needed help the day of, their staff was great about answering questions or checking in to make sure everything was going well. I appreciate that the Delhi is a nonprofit as I know the fees will go toward their community programs. read more

Hello. My name is Mike Sanchez​ and i own Dj Mike Eventos​. An Event planning company. We worked an event on Saturday June 27 2015 and all i can say is this. We've worked from Disneyland to the Richard Nixon presidential library. We know about places. We are professionals. And the service your Location Manager gave us was The Worst we've ever received from a "supposed manager". He has no managerial skills whatsoever. He imposed dozens of limitations on us simply because he could. Having a door out he made us walked around the building to our cars, when said doors are access doors. He showed up 45 minutes late with take out food for a co-worker. At the end of the event, staff started picking up tables 45 minutes before the end of the Wedding. In front of all the guests. By the time the music stopped most every table was picked up. Because they did that they Shouted at us from across the room... you got 30 minutes to get out. With family still picking the gifts they half the room already mopped by 11:45. The contract stated the party was going to end at 12:00 A.M We got kicked out to the back like criminals and the equipment was just laying around on the floor, just so they could close the doors on us. You people have cameras. Check them. I, as an Event planner will NEVER EVER recommend your location to any of my customers. The experience at your place was beyond aberrant thanks to the guy running the hall. Bartender was cool. Waitress were ok. Place was clean. No towels of any kind in the restroom, and one blower out of service. The manager?... We will give him a 1 out of 10. read more

We held our Great American Write-In event at the Delhi for the sixth consecutive year this last March. The Center itself has lovely decor and an inviting patio area. As always, the staff at the Center bent over backwards to make sure the set-up was exactly as we had requested; in fact they even allowed us to come in the afternoon before so we could get a head start on preparing everything for the following morning at no extra cost. Their prices are extremely reasonable, especially considering the amount other venues charge for a less desirable space and fewer services. I would absolutely recommend the Delhi to any individual or organization seeking a beautiful venue and personalized attention. read more
