My beautiful daughter on her special day with one of her chambelanes!

I just hosted my daughters quinceañera on 5/24 and if I could give this venue a million stars I would! We had about 300 guests and Freddy and his staff were beyond helpful, courteous, and just overall amazing. From the setup to the teardown, the party went completely flawless. They ballroom is huge with lots of space, air conditioning, a courtyard, a massive kitchen, clean bathrooms, and an outside bar area. We couldn't have picked a better venue to celebrate. Thank you Freddy and staff for making this day such an amazing memorable one!

We reached out to the Delhi Center about hosting an arts and music festival on a April 1st. They were very helpful on securing a date that worked for us cause we know they get booked quite often! The staff was courteous and gave us the day before to set up for the event, which helped to make things run smoothly the day of the event. The main ball room was big enough to host the music festival and the courtyard was plenty to showcase of some of the local artwork made by youth. This place was great because of the various breakout rooms that served as a green room and production room. There was also a backdoor which allowed for special guests to enter privately. * surprise guest Common * We were additionally able to use one of the breakout rooms to host a resource fair. Overall, we have great time at the Delhi Center and we look forward till the next time we can host an event here.

I just hosted my son's graduation C/O 2019 at this venue! I only knocked off 1 star as we did have a small hiccup in the beginning. Which was all fixed at the end of the day! Tensions were high that day, so they got the wrath of me and my siblings... Lord knows I've apologized by now, so let me just make that clear lol... My guest couldn't believe how big this venue was and how accommodating everything was! My security detail was on point, and so was the staff that day. We had so much food, we FED EVERYONE!!! No one left my party hungry and we even gave out beer to the security detail lol... it was that serious for us! They were so awesome!!! We couldn't have picked a better venue to celebrate. Thank you Freddy and staff for making this day such an amazing memorable one! My family will talk about this party to the end of the year! It was that party!

Freddy was very helpful with everything we needed, the venue was clean when we were handed the place. The restrooms were very clean and at the end of the event the staff cleaned everything right away. Would definitely recommend this venue to anyone

I've previously had my donations picked up, or gone to donation bins, or dropped a few things off at Goodwill. Orange County Rescue Mission has a drive thru drop-off for your donations. I had 5 boxes, so a lovely gentleman brought a bin on wheels over and helped me put my boxes inside. He asked if I would need a receipt for my taxes but I politely declined. I do believe the items I donated had good value but I don't have much experience with taxes and previous receipts I've gotten usually end up missing by tax season. Prior to donating my things, I was able to go on their website and see exactly what items they accept. This helped a LOT because there were actually a lot of items I wouldn't have even considered donating like unused toiletries. I would probably try to give them to a family member or a friend of perhaps end up just tossing it away. I'm really glad they provide a list of acceptable items for donating!! I hope other people who wish to donate items really do READ lists such as this one, so they are aware of what can be donated. I just remembered people from my past who would try to donate opened foods, & insisted they were still good because they were non-perishables. Some people just don't know you can't donate ANYTHING. I don't understand people who donate things that they wouldn't use, if the same or similar item were donated to them (in the same manner). Some behaviors are perplexing. Anyway!! I LOVE this place and I'm currently working on filling up another 3 boxes. I'll have to go buy some more boxes so I can start sorting through my storage unit as well!! I do have a few questions on some items and what condition they must be in to be accepted for donation. I'm pretty sure they had a number on the same page that I could call and ask, which I will be doing, just haven't gotten around to it yet! I'm really happy I found this place & recommend others to donate items & volunteer here if they have the time! (:

Make sure you login to the website and checkout locations and dates and register yourself for openings. It's great to come with family, friends or coworker. They have many different ways you can volunteer your time or just put a shoebox together and drop it off at a processing location. We had a good time joining a team on the floor and were given a little training and we went to work for a couple of hours. My first job was to scan shoe boxes that people had donated and wanted it tracked. It was kinda boring as those were infrequent so I switched over to checking shoe boxes that were donated making sure they didn't have certain items not permitted in the box. After awhile I switch to taping boxes shut after the inspection process which worked out fine as I was constantly working. For those who aren't familiar with Sumaritan's Purse, they are a Christian-base nonprofit that provides aids to areas of need here in the U.S and third world countries. They were actually one of the first responders to bring aid to rural areas that were hit by a big typhoon in Central Vietnam in 2017. Air lifting over 200,000 POUNDS of supplies to the villagers who have lost everything. Operation Christmas Child is one of their projects that takes place from Nov-Dec. You can watch one of their videos of this operation on YouTube. Which was how I found them actually. The idea is that you take a shoe box and decorate it and fit anything you can into a shoe box for a child in a third world country (socks, soap, toothbrushes, hair brushes, a small toy, pens, pencil). And then you can drop off the shoe boxes at their processing center by a certain deadline (and if you pay for a tracking label) you can track where your shoe box may end up. OR you can sign up to volunteer during the holidays at the processing center to inspect the shoe boxes or even stuff shoe boxes (companies donate supplies that you can put into boxes). The whole operation is so efficient , to watch one group inspect, one group stuff more gifts in light boxes, one group tape and one group organize the shoeboxes into bigger boxes with tracking labels is really a sight to behold. EVERYONE that you come across are EXCEEDINGLY nice and gracious, from the parking attendant, to the front desk/lobby people to the people running the warehouse. I do understand how Sumaritan's Purse could come as "too much" for people who are not Christians who wants to help. However, I think this organization is truly doing something not just special but extremely meaningful that could change a child's life in a small village some where in the world. With a simple gift from a stranger a world away, to let the child know that they matter, and you you could also include a letter if you wish. Sumaritan's Purse really goes out of their way to deliver the shoeboxes into rural areas often times using elephants to do so! Operation Christmas Child only goes on from Nov to mid Dec (before Christmas because they have to get the shoeboxes out of the U.S. before than)! Cheers!
