I'm so happy because I find when you order hot from other places, it's too tame. Here - it's authentic. Very nice in the phone. Very nice in person. Delhi Hut is replacing our go-to! Oh man, this was rather disappointing. Perhaps it's because we ordered delivery, but my meal was inedible and ended up being tossed. My husband ordered CHICKEN CORN SOUP and CHICKEN MANCHURIAN, and I got to try both. His response when I asked how he liked him said, "fine." That's how I felt also. The soup tasted like canned cream corn with ground chicken. Which, I suppose, is basically the description so I cannot fault that. The chicken was cloyingly sweet with a bit of heat. I agree with the description. It was fine, but not memorable or something we'd order again. I ordered VEGETABLE SAMOSA and TANDOORI MIX GRILL. The Samosa were excellent - packed filled of veggies and accompanied with delicious mint and tamarind sauces. Probably some of the best Samosa 's I've had, if I'm being honest! My entree, however, was dismal and extremely disappointing. The description was "A combination of marinated chicken, seekh kabob, boti, and shrimp cooked in the tandoor." There was exactly 1 shrimp in the entire box and I could find zero Boti (I honestly forgot this was supposed to be in the box until just now when I re-read the description. Clearly it wasn't missed, but also why was it not included!?) Disappointing, but whatever. The chicken and kabob were dryyyyyyy and so overcooked. The meat tasted like it was cooked on the tandoor yesterday and microwaved before packaging up to serve. It was awful and inedible and I ended up tossing it out. The GARLIC NAAN was fine. Nothing noteworthy either way. We ordered the 4oz Indian Pickle, but it was omitted from the delivery. We were not refunded for the item. It was only $1 but still annoying. Finally found some good Indian food in town. My neighbor told me to check this place out and she was so right. Located in a strip mall. Definitely a place to pick up food or grub hub. I opted to check it out for the first time. There are tables inside, but they were stacked so I don't think there is seating. I recommend ordering via phone if you're picking up since it was a 30 min wait. The person working there was nice and didn't mind the wait at all. We ordered the vegetable samosas, palak paneer, tandoori grilled assortment, and garlic naan. The palak paneer with garlic naan was my favorite! The tandoori grilled assortment was good, but a little too spicy for my husband. I picked up a to go/catering menu. They have a reasonable lunch special during the week! The other night, craving Indian food but uninspired by my usual rotation of local spots, I found myself thinking back to a place I hadn't visited in ages: Delhi Hut. What would I have. Ah, yes. Indo‑Chinese sounded perfect. I called in an order for Manchurian Chicken and Hakka Chicken Noodles, making a point to request the dishes hot, truly spicy. When I arrived, my order was ready right on time. Delhi Hut operates as takeout‑only, so I grabbed the bag and headed toward my truck. I thought, wow - This bad is heavy. Since, I was so hungry, I need to sample some food before I got home. Right? The portions were astonishing. I'd ordered two entrées out of habit--too many restaurants serve portions that barely qualify as a meal. They are more like an appetizer. Delhi Hut, however, delivered enough food for dinner that night and two generous lunches the following days. Both dishes were deeply flavorful, the kind of Indo‑Chinese comfort food that hits all the right notes. My lone critique: the spice level. Delhi Hut is one of the best Indian takeout restaurants in Canton. You get the most bang for your buck here too. Curries are reasonably priced - lower than most of the other Indian restaurants in the area - and come with a huge portion of basmati rice. Friendly service. I just enjoyed a delicious meal for the first time last night when I ordered delivery through GrubHub. I was hungry for Indian food and thought I would try someplace new to me. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, Hama noodle and naan. Everything was delicious. The flavor profiles were delicious without being too spicy. I've never had an Indian noodle dish and I really loved it. The chicken tikka masala was terrific. It's hard to mess up basmati rice and I have plenty left over. The naan was nice and warm. We really enjoyed this place! As Indian cuisine goes, the food was fresh, tasty, and didn't overpower my wimpy anti-spicy sensibilities (aka the mild spice level was delicious.) We ordered inside the restaurant and, at the moment, there's really nowhere to eat inside. It's the sort of place that is definitely meant as a take out restaurant rather than an eat in restaurant, though once COVID's no longer the narrative, it looks like they'll have a couple of tables where you could sit and eat. The staff was friendly when we put in our order, and we waited inside while our food was being cooked. They were able to cook it a bit faster for us than they had told us, which is honestly always a pleasant surprise. Takeout wise. It's your typical Indian fare. Things are put in small plastic take out container so it's not super appealing to look at from that perspective but still tastes delicious. If you're looking for some solid Indian take out, check this place out. If you're looking for great Indian food with a slightly more fancy sit down vibe, I might look elsewhere. read more

Do not waste your money trust me. Food is not fresh and they do not provide good customer service. I love Indian food and always had good experience with several different restaurants so decided to try this takeout place on the way home from work. I stopped in and spoke with the lady who worked up at the front. I ordered mild tiki masala requesting no spice if possible ( given that I am expecting ) and spicy butter chicken for hubby, samosas and butter naan bread. I received spicy tiki masala and spicy butter chicken, burnt naan bread and very gooey samosas. Even the rice was not good but I was mainly upset that I spent extra time relaying the importance of getting mild to no spice tiki masala. I thought at first maybe they confused the spice level and butter chicken was the spicy one. I had my husband taste both and he agreed that they both tasted same spice level. When I called and let the restaurant know, the same lady at the front said " well that's just how it is even without added chili so if you don't want spicy don't get the tiki masala". Never had this issue with any other Indian restaurant. Even aside from the spice level the flavor profile and quality of the food was honestly bad. I read the one negative review and ignored it because I am also not the one to leave a negative rating but I think it's important. If you love Indian food there is amazing place downtown Plymouth a couple miles away, make the drive it will be worth it! read more

I've been on the search for some great butter chicken in the area and I loved my food here! The samosas were delicious, perfectly crisp and flavorful. The butter chicken was nice and tender and had a nice kick to it. The naan was really good, could've been a bit fluffier but taste was great. I would like to give a 4.5. Strictly a take out restaurant .Ordered chicken 65 appetizer, very nice, lamb masala and butter chicken with rice and naan. Lamb was tender and aromatic and flavorful. Not enjoyed by my date, medium spice over powered the flavors she recognized. It was too hot. I highly recommend buttered chicken, medium spice, just wonderful enjoyed by us both . Delhi Hut is very good. I've enjoyed their butter chicken, chicken saag, palak paneer, and bhindi masala entrees. All are excellent. I like that their palak paneer has a nice amount of ginger in it. (At least I believe I'm tasting ginger, I'm no expert.) I've had palak paneer many times from other restaurants and none of them were as good as Delhi Hut's. Also good are their samosas (of the two sauces that come with it, only the green one is worthwhile), naan, and pickles. Their staff admitted that they don't make the pickles there, but it's one of the better ones I've had. (At least the pickles don't include a lot of inedible fruit seeds/pits that I've gotten from other places.) For dessert, their gulab jamoon (AKA gulab jamun) is very good. However, their rice pudding is a disappointment. It's probably the only thing on their menu I wasn't thrilled about. It's not thick enough, and I expected a little more Indian flair from it. (Maybe it needs cardamom or cinnamon.) read more

Owner/chef Bittu and his wonderful wife, Satveer were wonderful and accommodating. I was lucky enough to eat the tandoori chicken and the garlic naan. So delicious. This is an awesome local place. They are tucked back in the plaza of Secretary of State. They moved from their original location and my kids said it was the best chicken tikka masala they have ever had. The butter chicken was spicier than the mild we were anticipating. And had more of ginger flavored notes to it that we weren't use to tasting but if you like ginger it's awesome. Also the garlic naan was super delicious. My son is asking to go back again so he can try the curry chicken lunch box! read more

Found it through Yelp and decided to place an order because it had Delhi in its name which is my hometown. We ordered Chicken Manchurian and Vegetable Hakka Noodles. The good: - availability of indo-Chinese options If you like me are from Northern part of India, you'd know its hard to come by restaurants that understand and offer indo-chinese food. If you're not familiar with this pseudo-cuisine, let me clear up that it is nothing like Chinese food and not your typical Indian fare in terms of spices. You have to try it to really get it. - fair pricing - quite a big serving of noodles The bad - Noodles were a little too oily for my taste and did not have enough veggies - Chicken Manchurian was a little watery and did not have enough flavor - the food images on storefront are quite jarring. I'd highly recommend replacing those with better, less saturated images of the foods they sell. I moved to Michigan from Canada 2 years ago and really missed that North Indian flavor in Indian food I was used to of. I tried so many Indian restaurants in Metro Detroit and none came even close. Then my husband and I tried Delhi Hut after we moved to Canton. We have eaten here several times now and can confidently say they have one of the best Indian food in the area. Their butter chicken and paneer makhani are really delicious. Their chole bhature is great too - softest bhature (bread) I have ever eaten! Every dish is freshly prepared, and meat is tender and cooked to perfection. Spice levels are consistent too each time. They're also generous in giving complimentary sides like onions, lime, pickle & green chillies which we really appreciate.
