My wife and I shared the Spicy Avocado Bombs and the Shishito Pepper appetizers. For entrees, I had the Braised Short Rib and she had the Tofu Fino. It was all superb. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful with special requests. My only nit to pick would be the price of our cocktails. About twenty dollars each for Makers Mark Manhattans seems a bit much. Next time we'll just stick with wine I guess. A note for those with hearing issues; the ambient noise was definitely loud.

This is an upscale dining establishment in Plymouth, Mi. From the outside it doesn't look like much but inside it is nicely decorated and fancy. The drinks are pricy but good. The menu is varied with enough options for most people to find something to eat. I had the beef reganato. I describe it as a combination of beef stew and Alfredo pasta. The beef was really tender and the pasta was great. I would highly recommend this people and will return.

Absolutely wonderful evening at Aqua with my wife and son. Donna and Viktor could've been more friendly. The food was off the charts and the violist brought back tremendous memories. What a place! The Johnstons

The appetizers were all amazing will definitely come back for some apps and a drink at the bar. The service was definitely lacking, very slow, didn't come back to check on our food, and had to stop her to grab more water and drinks. The vibe was great as far as decorations go and how it is laid out we were in chairs at a table but there were lounge style chairs that I was honestly jealous of , we had five people and they were set up for four and there was no way you could add a fifth. They also had a violin player but just kept playing the same songs over and over, probably the same 4 or 5 songs and we were there for what felt like forever for dinner. Again I'll go back to sit at the bar if someone wants to go but I wont bring it back up to try and the other four people probably wouldn't either.

I went here for lunch. Very nice ambience and wasn't many people dining for lunch. I ended up ordering the free range chicken it was very flavorful and tender. Seems like the chef really knows what they're doing. I will be back

We made reservations on a Friday night. I think around 7 or 8 was when the live music started. It was nice, but a little loud, makes it hard to carry on your conversation. All of the food was absolutely amazing. We split some appetizers, even though they were delicious, I would have probably have skipped them IF I had known ahead of time that the meal came with a salad and bread. It ended up being a lot of food! But everyone's meal was delicious. No room left for dessert! Drinks were great too! Our server was kind and attentive! We will be back!

Fantastic food. Took my son here after a long day working at grandmas house. Many interesting and unique dishes on the menu but within the comfort zone of a 12 yo boy. He really loved it. It's an upscale place so nice place to impress your date or celebrate a special event but also worked well for a hard earned reward for a job well done.

Very calm and classy atmosphere, I really enjoyed the Linguine. My girlfriend had a steak and it was cooked to perfection. Wait staff is nice and violin player was a nice touch. Would recommend!

We LOVE Aqua! It is our go-to for our anniversaries. The filet table for two is amazing. The dip (zip sauce?) for the filet is to die for!!

This is a perfect place for apps/drinks! A few of my girlfriends and I spent NYE night here, early on in the evening and it was wonderful. The bartenders treated us so special and we loved the vibe. There's live music on certain nights which we were happy to experience while we were there! I highly recommend this spot for a gathering with friends or intimate date because the atmosphere is on point! This is also right next to the Sidecar Slider Bar which features a bit less expensive drinks and more of a sports bar vibe so although they are very different it was super fun to spend time at both in one night and have two totally different experiences!

The seared ahi tuna was overcooked. The filet tips were overcooked. The shrimp tacos were ok, but would have been better with grilled shrimp (not fried) and were not worth the price. Service was slow. After all of our food arrived, they basically forgot about us. Felt like just were not interested after finding out we didn't want cocktails. We like Sidecar a lot, but won't be returning to Shift.

The cocktails are stunning, the food (whether brunch or dinner) is consistently memorable, and apparently every plate is so beautiful that I feel compelled to photograph it. Beyond the food, the service is always exceptional. The staff strikes that perfect balance of polished and warm, making every visit feel like a special occasion. And then there's the atmosphere. The abundant natural light, thoughtful seasonal décor, and the undeniable gravitas of a beautifully restored former bank create an experience that feels both elegant and welcoming. The Ledger is absolutely worthy of being a destination restaurant for celebrations and milestones. But the biggest compliment I can give it is this: we don't save it only for special occasions. Whenever we're nearby, we make a point to stop because the food, drinks, and experience are just that good and the seasonal specials never stay as long as you'd hope. And of course, the speakeasy downstairs is always the perfect end to the night.

She's attentive and on it, the rest of the staff made sure our dishes were cleared, drinks were topped off. Ordered Brussel chips, fat-sar salad, Lobster Mac N Cheese, truffle fries, G.O.A.T. 22, trumpet scallop pad Thai. $170.66 The Brussel chips, lobster Mac and the trumpet scallops (mushrooms) Pad Thai noodles were good at least. The G.O.A.T., Fat-sar and truffles were all underwhelming for me. Their tomahawk steaks are huge, table next to us got two cut up table side. You can smell the smoke flavor from the old fashioned drinks as soon as you walk in the door.

We opted to sit outside, the patio was very nice. They even had a heater set up since it was slightly chilly. We ordered whipped feta dip and buffalo chicken rolls (a suggestion from one of the employees). Both were delicious. We also tried the bulgogi beef sandwich, while the meat and other fillings were delicious, the bread was a bit thick for our liking. I tried the lavender cloud drink and it's probably my new favorite cocktail. My husband tried two whiskey based drinks (one not even the menu, that the bartender came up with) and he enjoyed both. There was no question, I would see my friend. We had selected Chicane earlier, eager to try the new restaurant in a familiar setting, by the train tracks on Starkweather. This location was formerly Station 885, a restaurant my friend and I visited years earlier, when a toy train ran along tracks around the perimeter, delighting her young daughter. We arrived early, scoring a great table with a view of the large bar, lounge, and stage. The restaurant is glamorous, with gorgeous lighting and attractive furnishings. Musicians entertained the eager and appreciative audience. There are so few places that provide this level of entertainment and hospitality. I had already previewed the menu and was anticipating the meal ahead. The duck sounded amazing and is almost always my first choice. However, the short ribs were tempting, as were the scallops in a coconut curry broth. I went with my first instinct, the duck, paired with a French Onion soup. The medium-rare duck breast was perfectly prepared; I liked the sweet potato puree and slaw accompaniments. Incidentally, the portion was huge. My friend enjoyed her braised short rib, which was on the 2-course supper menu, available before 6pm. For dessert, I went with the chocolate cube. Unfortunately, I didn't even see the banana parfait, which was mentioned in several of the reviews here. Oh, well, I was content. The dessert had a bold, intense chocolate flavor, which paired well with the ice cream's more subtle flavors. I also appreciated the different textures on the plate. Service was fantastic: professional and helpful. Unfortunately, my car died during the cold, and TripleA was unable to help, given the number of people/vehicles in a similar situation. The restaurant staff went above and beyond to find someone (the Executive Chef, who was in the middle of service) to provide a jump; I am so grateful for the gracious hospitality.

Their food is very tasty, including the queso dip and whatever seasoning they used on their burgers. Our server Layla was very prompt, helpful and had great suggestions! The ambiance of this place is like a fun Irish drinking pub, it's not intimate, but it's not a giant lallapalooza either. The noise level is average and everyone was enjoying their time. This is a great place for good food and a fun time. They had some shot specials due to St Patrick's day coming, so we tried the "Shamrock shakes" which were very good! I completely appreciate that things get screwed up in the kitchen or service can be slow- it's how the restaurant responds that matters most to me. My husbands and sisters were overcooked but tolerable. My dad and brother in law sent theirs back to get them rare and it took over 25 minutes before mu dad just said he wanted his order cancelled. My dad was told that they were busy and that's why his burger took so long to get recooked- but the restaurant was half full. When one of the servers heard that my dad didn't want the burger anymore he told him "that's fine, I'll eat it." My brother in law got his to go and it was still burnt. They also told him that they wouldn't give him fries with his to go order because he already ate his fries. Not a big deal, but at this point why be a jerk and point it out? I had to ask our waiter for ranch 3 times before I finally asked another person for some. My son's pizza was also burnt. Super super disappointing.
