Wowzas! This place is Polish delight heaven! A Polish grocery store with all your Polish essentials and then some. Their produce selection isn't that large, but you don't go for produce. You go for their meats, they're ready to eat goods, bakery, Polish essentials, and then some! A great assortment of paczkis were available when I went (between Fat Thursday and Fat Tuesday) all baked in house. Their dessert counter was also hard to ignore. Staff was friendly and they were answering whatever questions I had about all the delicious treats. Before you hit the baked goods, you have to go through their enormous deli/meats counter! Sausages for every kind of person, even non pork sausages. Are you looking for pierogi? If you go anywhere else, you're a fool because they have all kinds and are less expensive than other grocers who deem themselves as international. Polish condiments galore, tea sets, and even Polish periodicals. We really enjoyed picking up some great Polish goodies that are hard to find. It's bustling and clean. While much of the staff speak Polish, they also have many English speakers to help the non-Polish folks (ehem, me) out. I, luckily, had the other half of the Polishstinian to help me order my kabanos of veal. Deli 4 You is a local Polish Grocer with five locations around the Chicagoland area. This was my second time visiting to indulge in their authentic, fresh paczki's. They have a wide variety of flavors and were self serve to box up. Staff was ready to refill stock and fresh paczki's were constantly being made to keep up with demand. I got the custard, plum, rose, & kinder bueno flavors and all were delicious! Beyond the pazcki's, they have so many imported polish goods. They also have bakery products from the chicago polish bakery, Racine Bakery, and freezer pierogis from Tata's Pierogis. They have a great hot food section to get an on-the-go lunch or dinner. I found everything I needed for our Easter celebration here. They were well stocked with everything. The service was fast and friendly even with a large crowd. There is a large parking lot and the food in each department from fresh meats to deli to bakery were all great quality. Two stars for nice inventory ++ But you just lost a customer, I had enough! Some departments, like bakery, have always nice people working in. On the other hand, the WORST experience one can get is from young employees at the Hot Bar! Some of them been there for longer time already but obviously did NOT learn how supposed to look a customer service. Their constant moodiness, their unwillingness to answer questions, their general attitude, their body language...it's something unheard of! They are always letting you know that they hate to be there, that they would love to be anywhere else, that they are doing you pretty much a favor by serving you. I had enough! When on occasion an "adult" is working there it's completely different approach. But that happens rarely. Cold cut/Deli dept. and cashiers it's 50/50. Either you get another cranky employee, usually young person, or when you get lucky, you get normal nice reasonable service and help. Lastly, dear management... Your store isn't a night club! I like, I actually love music! But when you are blasting it thru the speakers people have to yell at each other to confirm their order, or to ask a question. So, you are welcome that I'm sharing this info with you since it appears that you haven't been able to figure out on your own. My last note is, that I do NOT need this kind of aggravation, I do NOT need your store, so from now on I'll be shopping half a mile down the route in KD Market, where I always experience nice people. Maybe you will wake up when more people like me will choose to go somewhere else for a pleasant shopping experience, maybe when your numbers will go down, then you will finally realize that something is wrong, and you will do something about it. Everytime I have no stock of food in my fridge and container or I need to go groceries, I come to this grocery store. I'm really satisfied with their place, parking, service, and products. Their parking was huge so it's easy to park my car. Their place was clean and neat. You can see their flooring was really clean and it was shiny. They have a lot of sections. They have a lot of different varieties of products on their shelves. It was a local and international product. They have a price list so you don't have to waste your time asking the staff about the price of the products. The service was great. The staff will help you and assist you if you need anything. I visited this store and purchased a cake today. I got a "Black Forest Cake". First, this cake was far from being a traditional Black Forest Cake. Secondly, flavor was a little "funny" and also extremely dry. After trying it, I wanted to know this when was this cake made. It appears that the capacity restrictions at this location are not be enforced. I was at the store around 10:00 am, and you could barely make your way through. Around the meat counter, there were people standing 4 deep along the entire counter. No social distancing what so ever. Shoulder to shoulder. Incredible place that is so worth my 1 hour drive! Mind blowing meat and deli counter filled with all kinds of polish goodies! *WARNING * The food quality is outstanding but do not go during the weekends during critical pandemic times. I understand that most the grocery stores are super busy right now but I have seen that they manage the customer capacity so is not so crowded. They have signs everywhere in the store to keep distance but apparently people do not understand. I went last Saturday around 10 am no one was in the door managing the amount of customers entering, in the deli people were literally on top of each other in the deli area. I told the cashier that they need to have control of how many people are allowed in the store but she said the manager doesn't care . PLEASE, for the safety of the employees do something. had a wonderful shopping experience here this evening and found almost everything I wanted except for potato pancakes. The deli clerk told me they ran out of it earlier today; but it is New Year's eve and I'm sure everyone came here early in the morning and bought a lot of deli items. I found the store to be clean, well stocked and organized. I bought polish sausage, pierogis, grapes, European chocolates and many other well priced items like cheese and yogurt. There was a huge array of Polish candies, baked goods and chocolate all very reasonably priced. On Wednesday they offer discounts so I'd advise the public to come here early in the day especially if you are seeking specialty deli items. There is a lot of fresh produce here all beautifully displayed and priced to sell. I'll definitely come back here because I love the selection and the bakery is very tempting! read more

Wow. In a city chock-a-block full of grocers and butchers that feature Eastern European goods, Deli 4 You really shines. In addition to boxed and canned goods imported from Europe, they have lovely produce, and in this store, a meat/deli counter that stretches the entire back wall of the store, featuring many fresh and smoked cuts, as well as hot food selections to go. Continuing down the left side of the store are a plethora of wonderful baked goods, sweet and savory, and many times of artisanal breads, but what is most impressive to me, is the value pricing on most everything in the store. I saw many imported items I would normally buy in local chain stores, but here for a good 30% or more less. They have three locations and are opening more in the W and NW suburbs. First time in here as I didn't know this place opened on Roselle road. The deli was very busy...be sure to take a number. But the meats and cheese look so fresh and there was a sample tray with smoked sausages and meats. Plenty of choices of cheeses, teas, cookies and other Polish and international pastries in the bakery too and noodles and frozen veggies to add for soups. A lot of sausages to choose from. Initially I was excited to see an international style grocery built in our village of Algonquin, Illinois. I checked their web site and saw icons for multiple countries represented. I assumed that food from all of those countries would be stocked. And I was wrong. Nothing wrong with polish food, I'll eat it at times but this place is nothing BUT polish food. I went to see if they had the German potatoes (kartoffell) that come in a foil container...or choices of french mustard. Nothing. I give this location 3 stars. Polish is not my first language, but it's my fiancé's (second for me). I was trying to make a catering order, and their menu is in Polish. No problem as I'm familiar with the language and can pull some words here and there as I'm second generation Polish/American (I cannot read Polish too well). But the lady behind the counter didn't care to help, nor explain some of the items on the menu. She told me to come back tomorrow, or order over phone once I translate what I want (nobody was in line waiting either as it was a weekday - that's I came as I know their peak hours). Which is rather frustrating. After her snotty attitude, I canceled my catering order for 30 people (Zestaw ll), plus finger sandwiches. Store just lost $600+ in business. Always pleased with the quality of product but the customer service and lack of Covid protocol will keep me from returning. Same problems as I read from a year ago. I was there yesterday and NO social distancing, capacity control and mask enforcement. They have the obligatory signs up from the state but even many staff are not adhering. I love this place! Being from Florida, we don't have original, home cooked Polish food. The variety of fresh and smoked sausage is HUGE! The pierogi selection is also large, but you must get there early to get a wider variety. By late afternoon, there are only 1 or 2 varieties of pierogi left. There are also fresh soups, a fresh meat counter, bakery goods as well as a large variety of dried grocery items. Every time I am in Chicago I visit. Recently there were few situations when I would purchase deli sausage etc which was not fresh or turned bad only after a day or two. So my mom and I went on a kick the past few weeks of visiting polish delis and bakeries all over Chicago. We went to Kurowski and Alex's in Jackowo, we went to Wiklanski and Hetman Deli in Belmont/Central, we went to Kolateks near Harlem/Grand, we went to Andy's Deli and Sweet World Pastry in Jefferson Park and a bunch of others. I will say that while some of the locations may have one or two products that stand out over one another, I would say Deli 4 You is probably the most consistent in quality across the board. The pickle soup is terrific, sausages are great, the bakery is very good and they even carry items from other places I visited such as Sweet World Pastry. Very clean and busy. Busy is a good thing which allows food to be rotated and fresh. read more

Also cashiers are not the most welcoming in the world. Hence, I give this place 4 stars, not 5. Their catering is really good too.
