This place is a hidden gem! It might not look aesthetically pretty but the food is delicious and affordable! They have quite a selection of sandwiches and different combos as well. Would recommend the steak and cheese sub, gyro and spicy chicken. Breadwise, not a huge fan of their "bun" but their "soft sub roll" is delicious, soft and mildly sweet. The deli hours for weekdays are till 8pm and 6pm on Saturday but the store is open till 9pm Mon to Sat. They have a couple of tables to sit and eat but probably not suitable for a large group, more like a grab and go place. The soups they have are chicken noodle, lentil soup and split pea soup. Lentil and split pea are on the saltier side but made fresh every morning. The guy at the counter gives great customer service while the lady gives just alright service. All in all, I'll definitely be going back.

This place is great and SUPER convenient if you live in downtown Silver Spring. The sweet potato pie is FAR beyond what I would expect from a neighborhood deli. It is REALLY good! Today I had the spicy chicken sandwich combo for a change (for a while I had been getting the cheeseburger combo), and this chicken sandwich was OFF THE CHAIN! For real!!! Very Tasty! I will definitely be back here on another of those, "I don't feel like cooking or driving to get any food" days!

Not a bad selection, considering the convenience.

This place is unbelievably excellent and convenient in you live in the building, but otherwise, there are better places to get food and booze around the area. That said - I love this place - because of it's convenience. I just hop downstairs when I need a snack or run out of beer, and I can grab it right here! It has your standard deli fare, as well as some kebabs you can munch on, and a pretty decent selection of wine and beer, considering it's small size. Prices are also very reasonable, and the serving sizes are large. The hours it's open can be an issue, unless you are a septuagenarian eating dinner at 4PM so you can make it back to your home in time to watch Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. It always closes before 9PM, so if are in the middle of tying one off and you run out of beer, you may be SOL if you try to run to this place to restock your supplies. Similarly, it opens a little later in the mornings - so if you want to grab a bagel on the way to work, it also may not be open. I'll definitely be back - in fact, I find myself here quite a bit, However, I can't say I would recommend coming too far out of your way to get some grub here.

Located at bottom of The Point building.

I needed a break from bringing my lunch and decided to try this little deli. It's just what it says... Beer/Wine & Deli. I suppose the availability of beer and wine is nice, but, prices are marked up about $3-4 over grocery pricing. They have a variety of hot and cold sandwiches - average price of about $7. Add fries and medium fountain drink for $3.25 more. The chicken strips and fries were good. Big portion! And, they have Old Bay on the tables. Nice MD touch! Pretty basic, but, hits the spot and convenient location.

Reuben with fries (sprinkled with Old Bay) and a big pickle (sliced for easier consumption) + small soda = 1 yummmmmmmy lunch

Consistent great service and food for years. You can dine in or out. They also have beer and wine for purchase if you're stating nearby.

Good sandwich in a mostly take out kind of place. Not much ambiance but good clean place to eat if you want to.

1 star for convenience, but for a "deli," it's pretty uninspired. And there is definitely no cheese at this "wine and cheese."

Almost 2 of driving and waiting and it's 10000% worth it. We saw the Philly on our favorite YouTubers channel and he rated it a 9.5/10. My boyfriend's family is from Philly so we had to try it out. When we arrived, it was a long line but it shortened pretty quickly. The guy at the front was super nice and was a boss at handling all the orders. We ordered a Philly with no Mayo, added peppers with a side of fries. The wait was about 25 mins and the food was piping hot. We immediately dug into the fries (after saying a quicker prayer of course) and was pleasantly surprised. They tasted like a better Micky D's fry! We instantly regretted not ordering 2. Since the ride home was long, we pulled over for a taste test. It was AMAZING! It was creamy. It was flavorful. It was meaty. It was nostalgic. My boyfriend doesn't normally eat dairy but he definitely took 3-4 big bites lol I rate it a 9.5 out of ten. I wish they used green bell peppers instead of red and the next time I'll add jalapeños or banana peppers for a 10/10 experience. This has definitely become a staple in our food rotation.

The meats were flavorful and of high quality. I liked the pickled onions on top, great unique touch from the deli. I don't think it needs the mayo on it, I'd prefer oil and vinegar next time. The butcher case with all the meats is worth checking out...they have some solid prime cuts in there.

Nice solid roll, real gravy, tender beef, and plenty of napkins provided without asking. Could have used a knife and fork, it was so juicy even without the side of extra gravy. The dill spear and Dr. Brown's soda prove it worthy of the name Deli. Very cordial service. I will be back to try the more typical deli treats next time I visit the Home Depot nearby.

We got a pastrami Reuben and a "Corned Beef and Pastrami". Each was on toasted rye that was perfectly prepared. A good portion of meat on each and I have to say, an excellent deli sandwich. And the price of each ($8.99) is very reasonable. We also got a side of potato salad and side of cole slaw. Both were good and the container is very generous for $2.99 each. There's a variety of chips available and a soda fountain with free refills. Limited seating. The staff there were friendly and appreciative of the business. It's a really nice place to stop in for a sandwich. I likely will try one of their entree salads next time. Breakfasts sound good on the menu also. We don't come to the area often, but this will be our new go-to lunch spot.
