I've been a regular customer at multiple Stiiizy-affiliated locations, and unfortunately my experience at the Deli location was very different from the others. One employee frequently went far beyond normal transaction-related conversation. On one visit, I overheard him discussing LSD with another customer while I was waiting, which made me uncomfortable. During nearly every interaction, he would also hand me my change very high in the air with exaggerated movements instead of simply placing it in my hand or on the counter. Rather than confronting him directly, I respectfully brought my concern to management because I had previously had positive experiences speaking with managers at other Stiiizy locations. Instead of feeling heard, I felt dismissed. I explained that I have personal medical reasons for preferring not to reach up during transactions and simply requested that my items and change be placed on the counter going forward. I was told the employee does this with everyone, but I still felt my request wasn't taken seriously. After that conversation, I felt my interactions became even more uncomfortable. On one visit, the employee placed my product extremely close to my stomach, invading my personal space. On another, he made unrelated comments such as, "Be safe out there," which felt awkward and unnecessary during a simple purchase. During my final visit, in the middle of the transaction--not as an opening greeting--the employee randomly commented, "I hope your day is going good." It felt out of place because we were already in the middle of completing my purchase, and I simply wanted to focus on the transaction. I politely responded that I'd rather just focus on the transaction than discuss my day. He acknowledged what I said, completed the transaction, and I left without raising my voice or causing a scene. Not long afterward, I learned I had been banned from the location, which was surprising given how calmly I handled the interaction. I've since had much more positive experiences at other dispensaries, including another Stiiizy location where management listened to my concerns respectfully and understood that I simply prefer to keep conversations professional and focused on the transaction. My hope is that this location improves its customer service by respecting reasonable boundaries, keeping conversations appropriate, and handling customer concerns with professionalism rather than making customers feel unwelcome. read more

Caliva Deli -- the smaller sister store to Caliva on Phelan & 7th -- sits exactly where you'd expect: in that familiar sketchy, slightly decrepit junkyard-adjacent zone that dispensaries seem to love. If you've been around long enough, walking up almost feels nostalgic. It's about as close as you'll get to that socially awkward pre-2000s cannabis buying experience -- minus the Nextel and flip phone. That said... Caliva Deli comes up a little short for me. It's not my first or second stop, but it comfortably sits in the 3rd or 4th choice rotation when I'm down bad for extracts and need something quick. Pros * Shorter lines compared to larger storefronts * Decent selection in concentrates and flower * Flower brands like CAM and 710 * Extracts including West Coast Cure, Raw Garden, Bear Labs, Rosin Tech Green Label, Pistol Whip, and 710 Labs * Solid variety of Tier 4 and Tier 1 Punch Extracts when other dispos are sold out -- Valley Grove, Emerald Queen, Canyon Creek, Lofted X-Line, etc. Pro tip: Call ahead if you're traveling from far. Inventory moves fast, and nothing hurts more than making the drive for something that's already gone. Cons Parking is horrendous. When it's packed, you're basically parking halfway on the sidewalk and awkwardly contemplating your life choices while waiting for your queue number to be called. Not ideal. Overall, it's a decent dispensary -- but the Bay Area has serious competition. Places like Purple Lotus, Cake, Harborside/Urban Leaf, and even budget-friendly Theraleaf tend to edge it out in selection, atmosphere, or overall polish. Caliva Deli works in a pinch. I was recently told I'm "banned" from this location for an alleged incident from two weeks ago. However, I was just in the store Friday and Sunday making purchases without issue, and no one ever informed me of any restriction or trespass. I was then accused of vandalism and assault -- very serious claims -- yet no police were called, no report was provided, and I received no documentation. I'm still able to order online, which makes this even more confusing. When I asked for clarification, I was threatened with police instead of given an explanation. I was a frequent flyer at Caliva on seventh Street, until I was met with really long lines regardless of pre-ordering or not and the inconsistency of buying the same brand. I'm not sure what's different at this location but I have only been in line at this location one time. The bud tenders are super knowledgeable and actually give you really good recommendations around your budget. I smoke the house brand cruisers and I can always rely on it to be the same thing as I had before. I smoked G6 for about 6 weeks straight before deciding to try something new. Hate leaving reviews like this but it's not with any of the counter staff or with the actual business, They're awesome! I'm a regular visitor, but I'm compelled to share my experience particularly with the contracted security staff. My visit today at noon was exceptionally aggravating. I encountered a lady security guard whose attitude and rudeness were beyond unacceptable. When I arrived, I handed over my ID and slightly moved to the side to make way for others. The guard's response was startling - she sharply ordered me to stand right in front of her. Her tone was not just unprofessional; it was outright rude. After she passed me back my ID I went to open the door but it wasn't opening. The ordeal with the door was even worse. It wouldn't unlock, and instead of offering help, the guard kept impatiently pressing the unlock button, commanding me to open it with a disdainful attitude. When I struggled multiple times, she didn't bother to explain or assist. Instead, she turned to another patron, ordering them to help, as if I were incapable. It turns out the door handle was faulty, requiring a specific method to open - something she failed to communicate. This also could be a fire hazard, just sayin. The security guard in question was a dark skin lady, large heavyset, wearing a dark green security shirt that said "A.s.s.e.t security" This isn't the first time. Last Friday, there was a parking issue caused by a woman who blatantly refused to move her car to allow patrons to park. I reported this to the security, expecting some action. Their response? Utterly dismissive. They told me to move my car, even after the woman insulted both me and the security staff. I am appalled by the level of unprofessionalism and the dismissive attitude of the security staff here. It's not just poor customer service; it's a complete disregard for basic courtesy. As an investor in tpc and a regular, seeing this facility's service quality plummet due to such attitudes is not only disappointing but unacceptable. If this trend of negligence and rudeness continues, I will have no choice but to take my business elsewhere. With that out of the way, people behind the counter are awesome and always have been! I really wanted the Berner's cookies but they didn't have any in stock. Ended up getting the Bruce banner and cookies and cream and a free gram of now and laters. It was all delicious.
