I ordered their delivery service today, and I put the address of the train station which is a short walk from my job. The driver claimed it was just a parking lot, but he didn't even call me to see if I was nearby or anything like that. It's just really unprofessional. I called and they said they really only delivered a residence, but they can try again, but I told him not to worry about it, because if that's the case, you need to specify that when someone initially applies for the delivery. And I could go to the store after my job, but the fact of the matter is they don't value my business so I'd rather drive all the way to redwood City and take my business elsewhere. BEWARE. They WILL charge you DIFFERENTLY. Online I had an order with the total all together at 88$ it was originally 70$ in the cart. They required 50$ minimum delivers. When I chose their prepayment, it would've charged me 98$. If I paid in person it would've 95$ straight. ???????? Their website said credit card accepted in-person, just to deny it, they didn't allow payment in cash only debit. On top of wasting 4 hours of my time, they would've charged me differently, they added fees, tips and taxes AFTER IT TELLS YOU THE TOTAL. Even with the online total the price CHANGED IN PERSON WHICH IS VERY CONCERNING. The online prepayment required a $1 tip automatically it was actually MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OTHER OPTIONS(stated online that prepayment would make things easier, therefore cheaper, but the in-person option was cheaper) I could DoorDash from a whole different city, not having to worry about price changes. Every time I've been helped by him, he has a noticeably negative attitude--no greeting, no eye contact, and he genuinely looks like he doesn't want to be there. When I ask for recommendations, he tends to push the most expensive products without offering any real knowledge or helpful insight about them. It feels more like a rushed sales pitch than someone actually trying to help me find what I'm looking for. On top of that, the whole interaction feels hurried and uncomfortable, like I'm inconveniencing him just by asking questions. It's gotten to the point where if I'm in line and see that I'm about to get helped by him, I'll let someone go ahead of me just to work with a different budtender. That's not something any customer should feel the need to do. Poor customer service, management that won't speak to customers directly and a business that does not care about customer advocacy, to them, we are nothing more than a $. Receipts say all sales final, but budtenders and staff are telling customers that they can make returns/exchanges on products up to 1 year old. Well, I just had to commute 1 hour to this location, once again after several defective replacements with Raw Garden's All In One Vapes and was turned away. Close to $200 for this order, which was placed not even 1 week ago and which had a defect upon delivery. As I explained the situation, my purchase history was reviewed. All Raw Garden. Only defective issue we have ever run into is the mouth piece popping off of the unit, which then leads sauce/resin to leak out of unit. So even though a product and manufacturer they stand behind, is turning over defective products/materials to be sold to consumers, we are supposed to take the loss because it keeps happening? Why are you not sharing the consumer info/reviews/problems with them. Then to insult me by then suggesting I shop at a 10% discount. $200 spent and I have no products now - working or defective. They did not care to correct the error, they did nothing to take care of their patient. Let this be a warning to you all. We are all getting mixed messages from staff and no type of direct communication from management regarding our concerns/experiences. Take your business elsewhere..I know Theraleaf's customer service blows PL out of the water and they have way better deals. It is absolutely disgusting how Purple Lotus handled this situation.
