I was delighted to see this dispensary open up near where I live. I usually do delivery from another place but sometimes I like to go in. I came in on a Friday evening and it was moderately busy. I checked in at the front and when I walked in I was greeted right away. I knew what I came in for but wanted to see what else they offered. I gave my order to the guy helping me and he input into a tablet that sends the order to the back for fulfillment and they call your name when it's ready. As I waited I walked around and instantly saw something else I wanted. I approached the counter and the girl was nice to help me add it to my order, not an issue. I waited about 10mins for my order to be filled, not bad. They have a good variety and everyone who works here was nice. I would go back! read more

Poor service, it was my first time coming to this dispensary. The guy at the front desk did not explain the process which led to a confusing experience. At the end I asked if there was any first time deals and I chose one and then was told I've been here before. Which was not true but the man was adamant I came in 2023. I would not recommend, nothing worse going to a dispensary and they barely know the products they're selling.It being my first time here I was not sure what to expect . Typically dispensaries offer a deal or discount for first time so was surprised when I paid and they didn't offer anything. After I paid and went to get my order the cashier was surprised I didn't want any of the deals....????? I was never offered any, then when they realized their mistake they wanted me to make another transaction to pay 10 cents for a pre roll or gummies for $7. Consistent missed delivery windows with only a text saying can't make until this time. They don't care about loyal customers. Just another dispensary that will be gone in a year. I went to Haze looking for CBD gummies. I'm not a weed smoker and I don't use THC, so I rely on the staff at dispensaries to actually know their products. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. When I asked if they carried CBD, the person helping me said, "I'm not sure." That's disappointing--I would expect staff to know whether they carry something as basic as CBD. Then I asked about Space gem gummies. They told me they were completely out, but I could see some right there on the cabinet with a huge sign. I just wanted to know if there were other flavors, but instead I got shrugged off. I don't blame the employees entirely--it's on management. Staff should be properly trained, familiar with the inventory, and able to answer simple questions about the products they're selling. A dispensary should make it easy for people who want CBD without THC to find what they need. A dedicated CBD section would solve that problem and help customers like me who use it for pain relief, sleep, or relaxation without the high. From my very first experience it wasn't good however I keep returning because the items they sell is really good quality stuff & the prices are extremely good. Since I first went their customer service has gotten way better, they're really nice & patient. I have also returned 2 times before their closing times and they don't make you feel rushed they take their time with you & they're still extremely positive towards their closing times. They also have really good top shelf eighths & pre rolls. Haze, what happened? You used to be one of the shops that I knew the service and knowledge would be top notch! It's been a while since I've been here. Maybe pre-Covid? Been struggling with some aches from working out too much and some insomnia from those aches. I don't like taking handfuls of pain meds so I decided to get some edibles to take the edge off the pain at night. For background, I've been coming to Haze on and off since they were a little shop on Hillsdale Ave back when you needed the MMJ card. Followed them over to Smith Ave. Always the same group of guys who were very friendly, welcoming, and knew their stuff. I never second-guessed their guidance and they always did me right. Fast forward to today. I was assigned an SA to help me with my purchase. He didn't seem too enthusiastic other than to rush me through the process. If I asked a question he simply googled it. Which I could have done but seems their location is an AT&T dead zone so I literally had no mobile service inside the shop. He didn't seem to know much more than me, which is fine but his attitude didn't make up for it. So I chose from what I could remember looking at before, got a couple of other items I hoped would be ok, and finished the transaction. I probably would have bought more if I felt like he was interested in helping me rather than simply rush me through and get me out (it wasn't busy). I left feeling kind of annoyed by the whole experience. Prices seem to be about the same as other places. Unless you have a big time MJ spending habit, a few bucks difference on something recreational isn't going to be a big deal IMO. Advice: If you're new to the MJ world, do a little research online and on their website and come with a list of some core items you will want to buy in case you arrive and forget. They have a lot of product and it's easy to get sidetracked and overwhelmed, frustrating if you get a sketchy SA who isn't too helpful. Location is easy to miss if you've never been there before. It's tucked away on a tiny street off of Phalen and back along a bunch of auto body shops. BUT... They're moving soon to Saratoga Ave so check the address on their website before you go. Will I return? Unlikely. Competition in this sector is fierce and there are lots of shops with much better service. I'll go elsewhere next time. read more

I've visited several dispensaries in the area, and this one is by far the worst. I bought a Raw Garden cartridge here, and it didn't work. Their return policy is practically non-existent. The manager even mentioned that they nearly buy their products from China and told me it was my job to call the manufacturer. Then they wonder why customers are leaving such poor reviews. So I did an order, they called me to push back my order by an hour, no issues, then they call me back to tell me they have to do a refund and resell me all my items due to a vehicle issue, I told them no I just want to cancel. I understand the rules and I didn't want to do another transaction. They pushed through the transaction anyway and charged my card even though nothing was delivered. Today I call and they will only refund me for the product not the tip I added for a delivery never received. I will never do business with this company sure it's only 6 bucks not a big deal but it's the principle of the matter, if something is not delivered due to the business error then you should get a full refund read more

I dont know why both locations are treated as 2 separate businesses despite both being HAZE DISPENSARY. I have attempted to order delivery from this Almaden location 3 times and each time never goes through. 1st and most recently, I get a call that my ID is expired even though I have physically gone in and had it scanned at the Satatoga location within the past year. (2nd attempt, no one called me and got no update for over 2 hours and I canceled the order on my own) Apparently it takes 2 days for the newly uploaded ID to be saved on my account. I updated it WEEKS AGO, and even my account shows my ID doesnt expire until 2029 but Almaden keeps trying to force me to drive there to give them my physical ID. The point of delivery is so I do not need to drive there. Saratoga is the better location!! read more

I did a little research and am impressed with the connection and it's history this dispensary with locals via San Jose - Bay Area. Zero magazine and also one of the first operating dispensaries in San Jose. Woot! I will say that I much prefer to use edibles for medicinal purposes over stuff like ibuprofen or aspirin. Even alcohol, I don't drink because I hate that it makes me older, slower and it's expensive! Wua ha! Plus it tastes like boo boo! This dispensary takes the haze out of the process and everyone here seems to be rather happy and overall pretty nice and very helpful! The process to get in is really simple, there's definitely a lot of transparency and doesn't seem secretive and no power trips by anyone. The products: not sure as for the flowers plants and strains, I just go for gummies, that are edibles and they can be found at other common dispensaries. They over charge for stuff like terps, if you are a concentrate fan they charge like $70+ for a $55 gram I can get some where else. And for the more top tier grams they sell it for $90+ when other places charge around $60-70. Also their prices are before taxes so it's a lot of confusing pricing and after the taxes hit its way more expensive than theraleaf. It's high way robbery just a thought. I'd rather quit or go ona little haitus l than buy here again because their prices just aren't competitive or comparable to others for the same exact product. Their "discount" are all a myth to make you think ur getting a deal but it's all just marketing to make up for the price markup already.. In fact, they might be the largest interior of any dispensary that I've visited. *Large selection of edibles. The Meh: *Prices seemed to be 20-30% higher than my normal spot. For the same amount of money I usually spend, I received only about half the amount of product I normally walk away with. =/ If I do come back, I'll have to check their specials more closely to make my dollar go further. While I appreciate the reliability of this dispensary, I've noticed a discrepancy in the level of KNOWLEDGE among some of the budtenders, including management. As a consumer investing in a product like an $80 extract(710labs)(jeeter),$50 joint I expect a certain level of expertise when seeking guidance. It's disconcerting when I find myself more knowledgeable about the products than the staff ASSISTING me.(Extraction methods, or even knowledge of whats in store) coming from someone who's spent 4 figures up in here in less then 3 months. I believe that for a premium experience, it's crucial that budtenders are well-informed about extraction processes and product details. This not only enhances the customer's confidence but also adds value to the overall shopping experience. the store has granny vibes, but i'll continue to come through in hopes that it improves. They used to be in an area that was very industrial (car repair shops, etc.) My only disappointment was that they don't accept credit cards at the new place like they used to.
