I have found my go-to deli thanks to Yelp and the wonderful reviews. They have dedicated parking spots for visitors in the parking lot. The deli is immaculately clean and has a vast variety of drinks and chips. My pregnancy cravings hit and I wanted an egg sandwich. I read previously that they had some. None on the new menu but was recommend the Tuna Salad Sandwich on Rye. Let me tell you that I sat in my car, took a few photos and for the first time in my life, I devoured the entire sandwich so quickly. Every bite was delicious and heavenly. The rye bread is soo fresh. The BEST tuna sandwich I've ever had. It also came with a pickle on the side. Raved to my husband about this place so that we can come back here together next time. Put this one in your back pocket. Just off the main drag (Miramar Rd) on Dowdy. I'm waiting for work to be done on my car down the street. Just ate the Early Bird Bagel (bacon/tomato/red onion/cream cheese) on a delicious Jalapeño Cheese bagel. Yummy. Fascinating to see the following: 1) Cooking Channel playing on their corner TV. 2) Big Blackstone griddle in the middle of the store early in the morning (they rolled it out just before 10am). They look like they're setting up for their Wed-Fri 10-4 Philly cheeesteaks and Smash Burgers cookout right outside their door. 3) sandwiches/chips/drinks selection is huge. 4) looks family run and there's lots of seating. read more

After getting my car maintenance done, it was time for breakfast! I'm glad I tried the Supreme Breakfast, there are so many options to choose from, and I like it. Fresh, big portions, and totally worth it after the wait. You can even enjoy your meal while waiting for your car and watch a show, hehe! I've eat there twice, first time I asked for the most sold sandwich . It was okay, nothing to write home about. I had the monstrous sandwich and the most famous sandwich. To be honest their sandwiches are between okay and just something to eat. I was going to eat there again so I could give a better review of my experience, but I won't be coming here again. I'm not dissing this place. The prices okay not cheap and not expensive. For the mid range pricing I guess they eatable. Customer service is good they seem friendly. Place looks clean okay but the restroom door had a big hole on it covered by a cardboard Food I give 2 stars Cleanliness I give 2 stars Price I give 3 Bathroom zero stars If you're in El Cajon area try Antonelli deli. I like this deli. The bread is always fresh and they have unique flavorful sandwiches priced very fair. There are a lot of choices in Miramar, but when I want a quick and clean lunch, I'll call it in and I'm out in 2 minutes. No digestion problems ever and it always hits the spot. So I stopped in because my daughter works near there and I have driven by it a few times. Well today I did just that. Let me tell you this place is amazing. They have so many choices for sandwiches, and drink selection couldn't be better! They have a ton of craft soda's that you can't find really anywhere that I know of. M daughter ordered the egg salad sandwich and what happened next was unexpected. It was made from scratch yes you read that correctly. But that was just the cake, the little deli on the corner has a old school and family feel. YOU KNOW A DELI IS GOOD AS HELL IF THEY GIVE YOU HALF A PICKLE ON THE SIDE!!!!!!!!!! My co-worker first told me about this spot a while back, decided to give it a try. I am so glad i did. Super friggin dank spot! Love the sandwiches, they are super fresh and taste homemade! And they have a nice selection of drinks! Also beer if you wanna hang around and eat. I stopped in for lunch today and ordered a Corned Beef sandwich and I have to say that I was very disappointed because it was smaller than I expected. I have to say that this is the smallest Corned Beer Sandwich I ever ordered. I'm truly disappointed so much that I don't feel like talking about it any further. Hidden gem I must say, I usually stop here on my to work. The breakfast burrito is a perfect size and everything is perfectly portioned inside. The Chipotle chicken has great flavor and every bite is the same, its a great lunch option or an early breakfast for me. Customer service is a big deal to me and I have to say they run this place like its there home and your family. I love the craft soda selection since you cant always find a good variety in a lot of places. 10 out 10 recommended. read more

I absolutely love this place. Every week my company will order lunch from there and it is the best sandwich place I have ever had but then when I went there on a Saturday the website says they are open so we drove all the way to Miramar to go get a sandwich to find out that that the shop is closed. This message is basically for the shop owner you need to update your website of your store hours so nobody goes up there and it's closed because I wasn't the only one there I saw multiple cars there wanting to get food but they were upset when they saw that it was closed but open on the website. I ordered sandwiches via DoorDash from here today because I was craving a yummy deli sandwich...and this did not disappoint! The sandwich I chose (chipotle Turkey with bacon added on Sourdough) was SO good! My husband got the Famous (which has pastrami, corned beef & thousand island) and he loved it as well. Picking up my coworker at his mechanic place, i noticed this little Deli Mart at the 'entrance' of the this little lot with 5 other shops (mechanics, tires, etc. ) . After quickly yelping the place, I decided to go in and check it out since my coworker wasn't there yet. As soon as I walk in, I figured out what the other yelpers were talking about... place is a mix of an old-school deli counter, liquor store, and a convenience store all in one. One of those places where the same person takes your order, makes your food, and exchange the food for your money. Owner was real nice, asked me what I wanted, asked me what bread, cheese, and then the standard toppings he puts on all his sandwiches (lettice, tomato, mustard, mayo). He kind of had a sigh of relief when I said," I'll take everything on it, nothing special". I am guessing he have had the run of the mill customers who wants bells and whistles with their sandwiches. His menu is pretty basic deli. Most of his special sandwiches are the ones that come with bacon. I had the "manhandler" which was a roastbeef with avocado. Had mine with american cheese on sourdough bread. "Topped off" my order with the deli pickle in the box. Sandwich was tasty, simple, and light. All for $5. Like a yelper have said before me, not a typical place one would go out of their way to get to; but if you're around, it's not a bad choice for a simple sandwich. And oh yeah, being able to get a cold beer with your deli sandwich around a bunch of business like that - not too shabby in my book. read more

This place is legit! Feels a bit like a Brooklyn bodega, you can get a dank sandwich and all your conceive store needs. The gentleman working was very friendly and attentive. We got a hot sandwich (it's called the Bomb, and it is the bomb!) and a cold pastrami. We mentioned that we were heading on a hike, and the thoughtfully wrapped the sandwich so we could take it on the trail with us. The sandwiches are made in an extremely meticulous manner, I know that is a strange description of a sandwich maker but the lettuce and onion were chopped very finely, the ingredients are stacked perfectly and I hardly lost a piece of lettuce along the way. Hands down the best deli in San Diego .. I used to drive from the south bay jus for dowdy sandwiches.. now I drive from east county... great customer service from the time u show up to the time u leave.. good environment to bring the family for a quick bite.. if u are ever in the area it's a must to stop and grab a sandwich.. This is just a small place in the middle of what looks like an industrial park, but it makes a mean pastrami sandwich :) I was relieved to find it after walking around one Saturday. Everything tasted so delicious and was garnished beautifully. Well worth the 22 dollars. Biscuits and Gravy: Absolute perfection of comfort food. The biscuits were so fluffy and well seasoned. The gravy was also soooo good, just like my mom makes. The sausage in it was also cooked so well and juicy. I've never tried mashed potatoes with the biscuits and gravy but it worked very well! Orange Juice: Not a fan really, not pulpy enough and I wasn't a fan of the flavor. Overall this is definitely a must visit! I will definitely be back.

I rather it stay in the kitchen under a heat lamp and come together rather that spend 5 minutes staring at my food being polite. So, for a fun "wow that's a ton of food" experience this is it. But I much prefer quality ingredients and attention to detail and flavor over unfinishable portions at a premium price point ($100 after tip for 2 ppl).

Between the atmosphere, the food quality, and that underlying vibe, it's not somewhere I'd go back to.
