    Tacos de pollo (5.16.24)
    Carroll N.

5.16.24 Fairly new as they opened late in 2023. Friendly service and good food. The Pollo con papas is popular and was recommended. Portion was huge and did not disappoint. I really loved the cabbage and dressing. They didn't have the tres leches or flan so excited to return to try those, the carne asada, and fajitas during future visits.

First time here. This is a Central American food. It's a new restaurant in Elkridge. The restaurant is nice and clean inside. The food is all made from scratch. All the food I ordered was very tasty. The pollo con tajadas is a must try. The tacos are definitely good because the tortillas are handmade. Stop by and try something delicious. I will be back to try the pastelitos and baleadas.

I have been here twice and it is such good Mexican-Honduras food! Tortillas are made in house and they taste so fresh- I have never had chilaquiles this crispy! The birria was good and savory with the dipping sauce- the whole fish was fried to perfection ! The portions are really generous- service is great - ambience is minimal but I don't mind- it is a mom and pop restaurant! They also have horchata which is sweet and refreshing!

A delicious Sunday afternoon find that came to the rescue after a reservation and another walk-in at two other restaurants fell through for my partner, myself, and his parents. My party was more than a little hangry, and the large portions and quick service was exactly what we needed. We ordered an array of pupusas for the table, which were dense, large, and filling. I always order chilaquiles if the Mexican spot has it, and this was the best I've ever had. The tortillas were crisp and had the perfect ratio to the just-spicy-enough salsa verde. The dish came with two eggs (versus many other places that only serve one), and the beans on the side had the right texture. The large plate was exactly enough for two meals. I also ordered an horchata, which was more on the thick side, which I prefer. Another person in my party got the bistec y platanos, and his major complaint was the overpouring of the thousand island dressing, but the steak was otherwise cooked well. The interior of the restaurant was clean yet busy, but staff sat us as soon as we walked in. I'm a big fan and will be back!

I don't normally drink when I go out but I was feeling a bit wild that night. She recommended a drink called "la suegra", I'm not to sure how to describe it but it was very nice. It scratched the back of my throat in a pleasant way, I had to order a second one. I then ordered food, which I was a little intimidated by the scale of their menu. The tacos asada were delicious, and the paired salsa was amazing. I ordered a red salsa against my better judgment and found to spicy, but the flavor was still spot on. Very impressed with the food and atmosphere, not used to such welcoming staff in Maryland. I just want to draw attention back to the wonderful bar staff, the young lady was very on it. Even in the rush she was very attentive and kept up her friendly attitude. I never got a chance to speak to the gentleman working with her but he was just as busy as she was. The customers he was assisting looked as happy as me. Great job soluna, you guys really live up to the name "tequila bar". Will definitely be back very soon and I suggest everyone in the area to come as well!!!

They always have customers in line be in 9 in the morning or 6 in the evening. I see a lot of work trucks pulling in with 3 or 4 guys getting out to get a meal. I kept saying we needed to stop there...and finally I did! Guys, it's so good. On my first visit, I wanted to try both the chicken and beef tacos (for two people) so I asked for one plate of each. Got one container with two of each variety, which was more than enough for us ($12 cost). We liked the flavor of the beef more than the chicken although both very good. The fresh lime half they provide really brightens up the meat. The tortillas seem like they are homemade. The green sauce is a little fiery so use caution. The second time I went, it was just for me but I was craving those beef tacos so I got three ($10 cost). I struggled to eat them all but they are so good!! They have other items like chicken, fajita, carne asada, burritos, etc. So swing by sometime and enjoy something really tasty!

The wait was really long but it's understandable because there were a lot of orders and looks like they make everything fresh. You pay when your order is ready. Not sure if they're cash only but everyone seemed to pay with cash. They also have Zelle. I got the bean and cheese pupusas, which you can get in orders of 3 (for $10) or 4. The portion for the price was pretty good imo. They came out piping hot--even when I was almost done eating them, the last piece was still so hot! The pupusas were crisp and surprisingly not oily. The filling was cheesy and soft. The curtido was crunchy but not the best I've had. Sauce was great too, except I wish they had containers for it, because it spilled everywhere in the tray and made the bottom pupusa soggy. I'm not an expert, but these were some of the best pupusas I've had! If you're willing to wait, definitely try this place out.
