I wasn't that big of a fan of this place despite the rave reviews. They start you off with chips and salsa but the chips are served in basically a dog bowl. 3 dollars for refills which didn't seem worth it. I had a Al pastor taco and it was missing seasoning. I also had fajitas and felt that the chicken wasn't seasoned evenly. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't anything that blew me away. The mocktail I had was good which was just coconut cream and pineapple juice.

Not only is this restaurant decorated well, with a flavorful menu / the bar makes a great margarita with so many variations. Their beans were good, salsa flavorful, chips the right bite and saltiness. Rice was fluffy and the meat was well seasoned. But the margarita is what made this place special.

My family has dined at Soluna Cocina numerous times since it opened, including dinner, Happy Hour, and lunch in the past three weeks. The food and service are consistently very good, definitely a favorite for my household, and the Happy Hour is a great deal. Today, a Saturday, we went there for a late (1:30pm) lunch and had an excellent experience. Our meal was great and our server, Carol, was perfect - friendly and very attentive! It was my birthday and the restaurant even treated me to a free "fried" ice-cream that was delicious. I understand they will be adding an awning to shade the outdoor eating area which will be enhance the patio dining experience this summer. Highly recommend!

Trusty chicken fajitas for the win. I was able to partake in this staple during a work lunch. Service was speedy and the food was delicious. Definitely want to attend for their happy hour. The space was beautiful and clean. Honestly, a hidden gem. Not a lot of curb appeal. But when you step in, it's a lovely space.

Came on a Monday for happy hour. Amazing service, bartender was really nice and efficient. She checked in the perfect amount of times and was never overbearing. La placa cocktail was absolutely delicious, amazing for tequila-enjoyers. Tacos were flavorful, warm, and juicy. Overall zero complaints, looking forward to being able to come here again.

Overall 3.5/5 We decided to check this spot out after hearing about the colorful vibe, and the atmosphere definitely delivered. The walls are covered with bright, eye-catching murals, and the lighting/decor gives the whole place a fun, modern energy. It feels like the kind of place you'd want to grab drinks with friends and hang out for a while. Service was just okay. Nothing terrible, but it wasn't the most attentive either. Chips and salsa came out first, and the salsa was actually one of the highlights--fresh, flavorful, and addictive. The guacamole, while freshly made, fell flat for us; it was mild and needed more seasoning to really pop. Food was a bit of a rollercoaster. The street corn was not enjoyable at all--overly sour and lacking the smoky, creamy flavor you'd expect. The taco salad looked great but tasted bland, missing that "wow" factor. Enchiladas came out looking hearty but leaned way too sweet, which threw the balance of the dish off. On the plus side, the drinks were great. The margarita was refreshing, well-mixed, and hit the spot. With such a fun setting and a lively bar, I'd say this is more of a place to enjoy drinks and apps rather than expect an amazing meal. Overall, I'd give it 3.5 stars. Loved the decor and drinks, but the food was hit or miss. With a little more consistency in the kitchen, this place could easily be a standout.

Who knew such a great Mexican restaurant is in Elkridge! A must visit for anyone craving yummy tacos. It was super nice that the tables were not jammed in there but far enough apart for a wheelchair to navigate smoothly. Yummy, fresh, crunchy chips and salsa were provided immediately. Ordered and tried their winter margaritas made with the usual liquor and white cranberry juice and coconut cream. A bit too strong for lunch but was good nonetheless. We ordered a couple of rajas con hongos and the camaron and loved them. We felt the prices were reasonable in the present economic climate. I liked the colorful atmosphere and the originality of the decor. Wish there were a couple of more handicapped parking spots. Just 2 limited our ability to park in closer proximity unfortunately.

First time trying Soluna and we went on a Friday night. The food was very good and the service was attentive and prompt. We made reservations and recommended that as the place was packed. Only downside is happy hour is only available at the bar. We will give it another visit as it's the best Mexican food in the area.

Had a nice dinner here-service was attentive and ambience is great! The food is all good but nothing spectacular. I thought sunken burrito was great! Hubby thought birria tacos were so-so. The ceviche was gigantic and tasted good but again not the best I ever had- The flan for dessert was delicious!

We tried this restaurant for the first for dinner on Saturday. It wasn't too busy and the weather was perfect enough to sit outside. We ordered a few drinks, an appetizer and a few entrees. Our food was hot and fresh. The blueberry margarita I ordered was good as well. Our waiter could have been a bit more attentive to our table but I think that's the risk when choosing to dine outside.

We started with Potato Cakes with crème fraiche, they had a nice crunch, a tender interior with subtle flavor. I'd never had them with crème fraiche, it was a nice change and the mild tanginess with the creamy texture complimented the Cakes well. I ordered the Main Street with Weisswurst, a Pretzel and plain Spätzle. It was my first, the veal's flavor is understated in comparison to Bratwurst or Knackwurst (not on the menu) and was a pleasant changeup. The Pretzel was little disappointing while it was a decent pretzel, it lacked the crisp crust and distinctive flavor I expected. As evident by the rating while worthy of note, it's not a game changer. I'd ordered a large plain Spätzle, which was two regular portions, but was served Spätzle with cheese I tasted it and it wasn't my thing, which is not to say it was bad, I just don't care for cheese in dishes like that. Our server swapped one cheese for plain (my wife had happily stolen the other) and enjoyed the replacement. I found that the grilled onions gave it a nice homey flavor. Mistakes happen and it turned out to be a win in the end. We shared a couple of desserts and by far, my favorite was the Black Forest Cupcake. It's on the large side, they might be able to cut on the weighty crème icing, the chocolate cake and soaked cherries were a delight. The cherries are a significant improvement over the Marchinos I had before, if only there were more. Rathskeller can get a little loud, as it is a relatively small space with hard surfaces so voices reflect, it wasn't packed this afternoon, so it wasn't an issue. Waitstaff dresses very casually, it pleasant and fairly attentive.

Because of my video that I share at instagram I am glad Oversea Distillery and Bar only 10 minutes away from my house! BAIJIU: (pronounced bye-jyo) is a traditional, clear Chinese distilled spirit. Literally translating to "white liquor," it is typically distilled from fermented grains like sorghum, rice, or wheat and ranges from 35% to 60% ABV. As the world's most consumed spirit, it boasts a history spanning millennia How It's MadeUnlike most Western spirits, baijiu relies on qu, a unique starter culture of crushed grains packed with active molds and yeasts. This culture simultaneously converts grain starches into sugars and ferments those sugars into alcohol--a process called solid-state fermentation. The mash is then traditionally distilled in clay or stone pots. Just like wine or whiskey, baijiu isn't a single flavor. It is categorized into four primary styles, though many sub-varieties exist: Strong Aroma: Sweet and pungent with fruity and spicy notes (e.g., Wuliangye). Sauce Aroma: Complex and savory, often likened to soy sauce, fermented vegetables, or dark chocolate (e.g., Kweichow Moutai). Light Aroma: Crisp, clean, and floral, similar to sake or high-end vodka. Rice Aroma: Mild, slightly sweet, and floral, closely resembling other Asian grain spirits like shochu.

He was a sweetie pie, too. Man, I miss the East Coast! Nothing but cool peeps like me just living their lives. After learning that I had a 4 hour layover, I was STOKED. Saw my girl, Khadijah for my returning flight to LA!! I was ECSTATIC! YOU HAVE NO IDEA. It's not the drink but the great vibes and company at Martini's. In fact, I noticed that when she's working, she's always got a full bar. It's her excellent attitude and vibe! I showed up and she had everyone up at the bar so I sat to the right of the bar so I can charge my phone! Even better, she remembered me! She told me that you can grab a drink if you have family, and sit across the way, if need be because those under 21 cannot sit at the bar. 2025.11-05/WED_1400: Just finished a long flight from LAX and had a two hour layover at BWI. I found the only bar between Concourse A and B. Originally, I was trying to stay close to gate A8. Had no idea my gates had changed to gate B. Martini is located at the top of the escalator on the way to Concourse B and the food court. The airport is under construction but you'll see it when you look for the escalator. There was a good amount of customers that looked like they were also on a layover having a great time. The bartender was a gorgeous lady by the name of Khadijah. It's so wonderful to see her beautiful smile and wonderful attitude. I don't know how she does it dealing with some grumpy and idiotic people! She's incredible just knocking everyone out with her wonderful customer service, attitude and SMILE. This changed her from beautiful to gorgeous or gorgeous to stunning. Whichever is top notch! Hospitality is 200%! Some customers feel so entitled and she handled everyone like a champ. No fuss, just a lovely attitude and she let stuff roll off her like waterproof wood stain. She also made me a drink called a Sexy Mule which had muttled blueberries, a flower of some sort (can't remember which flower liquor she told me) and extra ginger (it looked like pink lemonade garnished with blueberries). It hit the spot! Great suggestion! It was nothing like those bland Moscow Mules. If you are wondering where to go after a long flight and you're stuck at BWI for a long layover, I would suggest you see Khadijah at Martini because you won't receive stellar hospitality at any other bar at BWI like this! I'll be returning to BWI next week so I hope I see her again for my insane layover! #hospitality #martini #bar #baratBWI #BWI #mortimerthebear # travellingbear #everywherebear #ConcourseA
