My partner come here at least once every other month (with my partner coming many more times). What I really enjoy about this place is that the food is very fresh and delicious. I always get the tore de Delicias and it never fails. We've tried the coctel de camaron, tacos de birria, chilaquiles and honestly it never misses. The service is quick and the server is very friendly, the owners take their time to walk around and make sure everything is going well. We have eaten dinner for the live music as well, we've seen impersonators, bands, etc. and it's alway a good vibe. I would say, if you're looking for a place where you can order a bucket of beer with good mariscos and live music. This place is it. read more

I've always seen this place and decided to finally give it a try since I was craving a Mexican brunch. The service is really good and the waitress was always taking our finished plates and very attentive if we needed something else. Once seated they brought us complementary chips and salsa. I got the molcajete ranchero for two persons. It came with rice, beans, and a mix of meats with cheese and nopales (cacti) and a side of tortillas. The meats were well cooked and the sauce gave all of them a good flavor. I think it was a little small for two persons to share as the portions were small for each one. I could only imagine what the single one would look like. The cantarito didn't taste like tequila and was watered down by all the ice it had. I tried squeezing the orange to give it some flavor but it didn't work. I didn't end up finishing it. The horchata was good and it was really big. I thought it was perfect for the hot day. read more

This is my 1st time here. I ordered a plate a normally get in most Mexican restaurants. The eggs were ok and the shredded roast beef as ok as well. I also ordered tacos, I cannot say the same for the baja shrimp tacos or the fish tacos. They have a very strong burned after taste like caked on burned cooking oil. They are over cooked. The batter is supposed to come out like a light colored goldish tone not almost dark black. The regular corn tortillas with the shrimp and fish would rip apart easily. The flower tortillas were fine for the eggs and shredded beef.Fried rice was undercooked. Beans were almost watery no flavor or thickness to the beans almost could say they were placed in a blender. The salsa and chips. The chips were cold. Salsa was good. Stay away from the guacamole chips. The guacamole should have been left alone I noticed a strong flavor that didnt taste natural it tasted more like an added powder additive for taste. Once again it wasnt needed. Just an avocado, diced onions and tomatoes with a hint of lemon would have been perfect. But adding powders ruined it. The limes were dried and stale. Hardly no juice out of them. The great thing about the agua frescas is that they are large. One thing to note is that the waiter doesnt ask if you want corn or flower tortillas which i was suprised I wasnt asked. Also they charge $1 debit/credit fee for transactions and right in front of the cashier didnt even mention the fee. Like the old mexican saying that my father used to tell me in spanish. "El que no habla, no come." I dont think I'll be back unfortunately. My advice to owner is. Get new cooks. read more

I happen to be in the area and was in the mood for Mexican food I'm so glad I came across this place .As soon as I arrived I was greeted so friendly by the staff they gave me a choice to sit where I wished, so I sat near the second section next to the bar I had such a nice waitress I ordered a cantarito to begin I'm not going to lie it was a a bit light it could have used a bit more love in other words my cantarito was was water down . I ordered a Chile relleno with rice and beans it was super delicious I'm so glad it wasn't too heavy it was my first time here so I didn't know what to expect . I'm so bummed I wanted a lagunitas IPA cause it was advertised everywhere as soon as I walked in I asked my waitress they said they didn't have it I guess it wasn't my luck but was a bit upset seeing all the poster boards . Surprise, surprise, surprise. So I found this place while cruising around TikTok. I don't usually bother with this app, but you only live once. This place is in a corner of a strip mall. It is very unassuming. I assumed that it was going to be tiny. It's a good sized restaurant. I really like the decor because it features Mexican celebrities of an era gone by. It was colorful, but I think tastefully so. And there was Spanish music playing in the background, that's was not too loud. It wasn't busy and we were immediately greeted by several staff members. We were quickly seated, chips and salsa were brought out. Definitely homemade. The salsa was spicy. And the waitress took our drink order right away. She was very attentive the entire time we were there. We both ordered a Michelada. Micheladas have never been my go to thing, but decided to have one. I liked it, but according to my friend it was really good. My friend had the Birria tacos. They were very good and consume that accompanied the tacos was really good as well. The only issue that I had was that the order only came with the tacos. They had no rice or beans. I had the molcajete and it came with rice and beans. This place also adds carnitas in the molcajete, besides the usual carne asada, chicken, sausage, cheese, and nopal. I don't do nopales. This is the only place around here that does that. The order of tortillas that comes with it are taco sized tortillas. They are smaller than what I am use to, but it worked out. I definitely will be going back to try other things. Maybe when they have live music. This restaurant does not offer combination plates. Most if not all the Mexican restaurants I have been to offer combination plates. I would recommend this place to people. If anyone happens to stay at the Bicycle Club hotel, skip the Apple Bees go to this place that is also across the street from the hotel. read more
