Attentive to my wife's allergies and food sensitivities he helped get us started with cooking our dry aged meats from the Bae feast and let us cook the shrimp and the fillet. The bok choy melted in your mouth and was incredible. The waygu dumplings with truffle ponzu were fabulous. The pineapple and passion fruit shaved ice was a perfect palate cleansing dessert. Our glasses were never empty and the timing of everything was flawless. this evening is in our top 5 dining experiences and we were able to walk in and be seated straight away. For 3 it was around $310. We ordered an assortment of appetizers as well wagyu steak and filet mignon as our main dish. Order the kimchi fried rice, it's a must. The service was impeccable. I hope you guys are lucky enough to get David as your host/waiter. Crazy enough the restaurant doesn't smell like a restaurant. Example of walking into a Denny's lol it hits you in the face. You can choose someone to grill the food for you (which we did) but gets awkward since they are just standing there silently. Or the option is you grill it yourself, that's not fun lol. We ordered the Bae Feast and Wagyu feast for six people. All the meats came nicely arranged and labeled for our convenience. I have to say the quality was definitely present. The Wagyu melted in your mouth and the skirt steak was the perfect amount of tenderness. We were a party of six and the booth was big enough to accommodate all of us. The server and food runners took their time to explain everything they served and the details of how to enjoy what we ordered. Everyone was attentive to us the whole night and made our dining experience enjoyable. Having lived in Korea, LA, and Dallas, I can say this is a Westernized take on Korean BBQ. The meat was served with butterleaf lettuce instead of the red lettuce you find in Korean restaurants and the kimchi fried rice was a tad on the salty end for me. We went to see a show and had a party of 7 to feed and be out of the restaurant by 8. We had a 6 pm reservation and did not want to be rushed. We were not. Our experience was well paced. Bae Korean Grill is not inexpensive, but what is these days? Normally, I would have ordered from the "feast" portion of the menu and cook at the table., but no one else did and that wasn't really what as a collective group we felt like doing. I had a $16 Whispering Angel, which, maybe because I'm used to it and brainwashed felt inexpensive. LOL. I ordered their "KFC" Korean Fried Chicken as an appetizer and Bulgogi as my main. We had vegetable fried rice to share and an order of the crispy rice with tuna which I felt was a notch above what I am used to in other establishments. Well, maybe not a notch above, but different because the crispy rice was more of a wafer texture with a hint of onion in the middle. It was delicious. I liked the KFC that was served over some gochujang ketchup, pickled cucumber, and cilantro. Personally, I would have liked a honey based sauce. My bulgogi (soy-marinated beef, onions, chives, sesame seeds) was outstanding. Tender meat with a lovely savory-sweet flavor. The vibe is crowded and full of what felt like people all going to a show. However, I did see a few birthday celebrations. On my next visit I will order one of their feasts. Bae was an incredible experience. Located right before the shops at the Hard Rock Guitar Hotel, Bae is a pricey, luxurious, Korean grilling experience. I tried Kobe beef here for the first time and it honestly changed my life. The marbling in this meat was no joke I honestly can't believe I hadn't experienced it until now. The service was amazing and the ambiance was very luxurious. The only things we ordered was the sharable, and self grillble, Kobe beef with a side of vegetables which changed my life. For dessert we ordered the UBE FLAN. WHICH ALSO SEEMINGLY CHANGED MY LIFE. I will never forget it. It was the best tasting flan I had ever had and wish I could go back again to try it again soon. Ube is one of my favorite exotic flavors and I was so excited to see this on the menu. The restaurant is just VERY expensive so please be aware. Tip is automatically included, and the four of us left with a $300+ bill for us all to split. But luckily there's a casino right there so you can try to earn your money back . . . This was the second time we have dined at this restaurant. Both times was before a concert. TIP... You must make reservations for dinner during concert event days. Yesterday was a Sting concert and we didn't think about reservations until the day of the concert. Everything was booked. We sent an email request the day to this restaurant and they called back to say no availability. At 6 pm, prior to a 8 pm concert, we went to 2 restaurants to see if we can at least seat at the bar. Unfortunately, 2 restaurant had no seats open with a few couples waiting. We tried our luck at Bae Korean as a walk in and were provided a NO-Grill table. We ordered a few items from the menu that didnt need to be cooked on the grill. We order filet mignon, kimchi fried rice and a hotpot soup. Last visit, we ordered The chef feast (can only be ordered on Grill tables) which was the better value since you got the same food we ordered for much less than a la cart. Despite being given a pictorial of what medium versus medium rare should look like, the filet mignon was overcooked. Also the portion size was very small. I like the hotpot, but it didn't have enough protein. Overall, this experience was not as good as the last dining experience. Don't think we will back here for our next concert pre-dinner. read more

If I could give this restaurant a zero, I would. Go to eat before Keith Urban concert on 5/29/26. Waiter ended up spilling my Coca Cola drink all Over the table and onto the seat which the liquid then seeped into my skorts and undergarments and onto my bag. Only offered me paper napkins to clean up. I lost my appetite and asked for a manager. Told the manager I wasn't paying their astronomical prices when I get my drink spilled all over me. Left to clean myself up but still ended up sticky and uncomfortable. Now I had to sit through the concert sticky and disgusting. Manager would only take off half the bill when I told her I wasn't paying. Refused to do anything more for me and nothing like being sticky and wet for a concert. I will never go again nor recommend this restaurant to anyone. The full meal should have been comped..period! If the owner or corporate sees this, you should have refunded the entire amount of the bill. Oh and train your staff how to manage this type of situation. So disgusted and the food wasn't worth the price...sooo overpriced! Diner beware! read more

This spot has become a regular in my rotation. Fast and friendly service, modern aesthetic, romantic atmosphere, and delicious food. My favorites are the bok choy app, stir fried noodles, and skirt steak. There are tables with and without grills, so you have the option to cook the meat yourself, or they can prepare it for you in the kitchen to your preferred temperature. Their Kimchi fried rice is pretty decent too. Beers are served freezing cold as a super refreshing accompaniment to a really flavorful meal. 03/19/25. We picked Bae as the place to celebrate my birthday at. It was a good choice. It is located in Hollywood at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Bae is classy, spacious, and nicely decorated. There is no dress code per se but do dress casual nice. The best garage to park at is the Lucky Street Parking Garage as it is closest to Bae. Our server was Jaelyn, who was very attentive, friendly, and knew the menu very well. We chose to have the chef cook for us instead of us cooking our meal at the grill table. The prices seem to be double at the grill table so be sure to look at your menu carefully. We ordered the Dry Aged Ribeye for 2 medium. It was perfectly cooked for us! Tender and juicy with a slight char on the outside. We also had the Stir Fry Noodles for 2 dish. It was very good and well seasoned. Jaelyn mixed our Udon noodles for us and scooped it onto our plates. We really appreciated her spoiling us. We also had drinks. I had the virgin Mojito and she had the Lychee Paradise. Both were delicious! The server group came over with sparklers to sing Happy Birthday to me. I loved it! It felt really special. My significant other and I came here for a show at hard rock live and luckily were able to try this spot after. We came in just after 10PM and had no problem being seated wherever we liked. It did get crowded shortly after we arrived. We decided to do the sit down seating vs the grilling experience and we only got a drink and two appetizers to share. Total was around $50. It was a pleasant late night snack with lots of flavors that melded together perfectly. I suggest both appetizers we had (the wagyu dumplings and crispy bok choy). If I'm ever back at the Hard Rock Casino I'd come back here. A bit expensive for the portions but it's good quality and worth it (especially if you're celebrating something). I usually start off my reviews talking about the food and the drinks but I have to start this one off with Alfie, our server. Alfie was amazing! My goodness, we didn't have to lift a finger or touch anything on the table. Hands down the best server I've encountered in a very long time. His customer service is impeccable. This was my first time trying crispy bok choy and wow, I have no words, just amazing. The scallion pancake was good as well, though I will say it's much better dipped in that sauce they provide for it. The kalbi was well-marinated, the filet mignon was tender and the chicken thighs were tasty. The kimchi fried rice was filling and delicious. We both ordered the Simhwang Sunrise cocktail. It was sweet and strong. Alfie recommended it and it did not disappoint. For dessert, we decided to get some type of Japanese ice thingy with pineapples, condensed milk, tapioca pudding and what looked like coconut wafers. I can't remember what it's called. Headed to a concert at Hard Rock Live. Prior to the concert we meet up with our friends for dinner. Our friends pick the place and we were happy to try something new. Let's start with the ambiance which was amazing. The minute you stepped foot in the door you were transformed to another country. The restaurant was dark and elegant. I couldn't keep my eyes from looking at the beautiful art work. The waiter was at the table in seconds. My husband and I ordered a Bae Cobb salad to share for a starter. So many flavors hitting you all at once. The salad was delicious and large enough for the two of us to share. Then we ordered the 10oz Ribeye for $60.00 to share which was served sliced on the most flavorful veggies. The steak was cooked to perfection. In addition we ordered the fried rice. We arrived at 4:45pm and there was a line with about five different parties. Luckily for us, we made reservations ahead of time and they seated us immediately. They asked if we wanted to do the Bae grilling experience. We passed on the grilling experience since we've had that experience at Cote Miami and just wanted to order a la carte. Lorenzo was our server and he was wonderful. Friendly and on top of it. I got the Passion Fruit Bourbon cocktail and hubby got a Tito's Vodka & Red Bull. We found out that his Tito's & Red Bull cost a whopping $13 + $3 rocks + $8 Red Bull = $24!!! OMG. That's insane and not cool Bae. His drink cost more than mine which was $18. Wish Lorenzo informed us of the added costs on hubby's drink. Now you know. My Passion Friit Bourbon cocktail was so good. A great bourbon drink with a hint of sweetness from the passion fruit. For dinner, we ordered the following: * Crispy Bok Choy * Steamed Branzino * Beef Bulgogi Bibimbap * Wagyu Skirt Steak Everything we had from the drinks to the food was ridiculously good. Really wonderful flavors and yummy but damn we really wanted that crispy rice crunchy goodness! Wagyu Skirt Steak was cooked perfectly at a medium rare and I swear it tasted like BUTTA! Holy moly. Other than the meats and the dessert, everything else was lack luster in flavor and execution. The kimchi fried rice was not the right texture, consistency, or flavor. It tasted very lacking in kimchi and was quite bland. The wagyu dumplings had taro that actually took away from the dish. The taro was flavorless (which is odd for taro), and the amount plated actually overwhelmed the dumpling in texture so that all I experienced was a mushy mouthful of taro and the dumpling was lost. The bok choy was deep fried, and while that lent a good texture, it took away from the taste. All that was left was an oil flavor that was unfavorable. We ordered the Chef Feast ($150 for 16 oz of various meat), and added on 4 oz of A5 Wagyu Ribeye. The quality of meat was on point, and the amount of veggies included was great. The Ube Flan dessert that came as part of the feast was the best thing we had that night. It was delicious and had the perfect texture combination and flavor profile. We added a side of asparagus as well and didn't enjoy that they cut the spears into thirds. Not only did this make it annoying to grill, as it was a nuisance to pick up, but it also felt like they cut it up to fluff up the volume they actually gave us for $12. The staff, while very attentive and friendly, lacked knowledge on the menu and the actual cuisine. When asked what brand of soju they served, I was told the brand was Soju (which is inaccurate). There were other examples but I don't want to list them all. Also, they did not mention that tip was already included and we almost tipped twice. I think it's odd that a 20% tip was automatically included on a table of 2. Typically, automatic gratuity is added on tables of 5/6+. For the price point of the menu, the ambience, and the attempt at authenticity, it fell quite short. read more
