The classrooms are always clean and well-organized, and the parent volunteer program is something we especially appreciate, it gives us a real window into the classroom and keeps us closely connected with the teachers. A special shout-out to Mrs. Lin, who is truly exceptional at what she does. She's warm and kind with the children while also being firm in the best way, gently guiding them through the Montessori approach. You can tell she genuinely loves the kids and the work. If you have a 2-5 year old, this is such an enriching environment. We feel lucky to have found Villa Montessori and would recommend it to any parent looking for a nurturing, thoughtful preschool. Five stars!

Villa Montessori is the best thing that has happened to our family. This is my 4 year old's second…read moreyear at Villa and he started as an extremely shy and sweet kid with no previous day care or school experience. In the past year, he has blossomed into an independent and assertive child, and he has learned a lot both academically and socially. Villa has an amazing ratio of 1-8 (3 teachers per classroom of 24 kids) that sometimes falls to 1-6 or 1-7. They are a true Montessori school, and the child stays with the same teachers for all the years. My son's two main teachers, Mrs. Fan and Mrs. De Silva, have been with the school for over a decade. My son has received a lot of individualized attention and loves his teachers. I think he would like to live with Mrs. Fan if given the chance. :) The teachers at Villa are extremely good at what they do and very passionate about Montessori education. When I went in for "observation day," each child was doing a different "job," so the teachers were managing 24 different activities, but everything was still very orderly. Even the tiny 2.5 year olds knew the rules and everyone knew to clean up. We really appreciate how diligent our son has become with washing hands, tidying up spaces, and wiping surfaces! Director Lin's leadership is also really exceptional. She is extremely organized, responsible, and sets clear expectations for the kids and parents. I love that the handbook, documents, twice-a-year report cards, and paperwork are all in good order. She is also very hands-on and I have seen her consoling a crying child in her lap, spoon feeding another child during lunch, and taking the time to talk with the kids individually. I am so impressed that she takes the time to get to know every one of the forty-some kids at Villa. She works many many hours at Villa and commutes from an hour away. Villa is not just a job for her - this is her life's purpose. Everyone at the school is very responsive and excellent with communication. Karen (who manages most of the administrative tasks) and Director Lin will usually respond to messages on Brightwheel within a few hours. We really appreciate how they take parent concerns very seriously. The flexibility of programs at Villa is also great - they have AM program (9-12 pm), PM program (1-4 pm), PM plus extended care (1-5 pm), full day (9-4 pm), or full day plus extended care (9-5 pm). I feel very lucky to be able to enroll my child in a half day program so that he gets a few hours of school every day, and we still get enough hours to go on an adventure together outside of school. One really brilliant and unique thing about Villa is that their after-school program (school ends at 4, there is another hour of after school until 5 pm) teaches the children Mandarin Chinese! I enrolled my son in the after school hour just for the Chinese class - Mrs. Fan and Mrs. Liu are both excellent Chinese teachers from Taiwan. I sat in on one class to see what it would be like, and was astounded that all of the kids had excellent pronunciation. Chinese tones are very difficult so it was really surprising to see a room full of non-Chinese kids speaking perfect Chinese! Lastly, the other Villa families also makes this place special. Villa is a non-profit with a governing board that is made up of parents. We really appreciate the parents that have taken on this responsibility. We have also made many friends at Villa, and really appreciate the sense of community. We truly couldn't have asked for a better preschool experience and will definitely miss this school when our son graduates!

He was under the care of Ms Maria, Ms Ericka and Ms Ana in Room 4A and he loved every moment of it! His teachers cared so much for him and I was able to see that he was actively learning through jobs, art, parallel play right from the start. His teachers even helped him eat when he was still adjusting to eating on his own - which was huge for me. He then moved into Room 2 in 2023 and while it took a while for him to get adjusted, I could actively work with his teachers on potty training, eating habits and general well being. Both Ms Diane and Mrs Sanghera are wonderful and caring teachers who handle transitions seamlessly and ensure the kids are having a good time! You can always ask the teachers for an update and they'll have something specific to say - that always made me feel like they have an eye on every kid. My child has made so many friends here and I'm ever grateful for that. The school is led by Ms Michaella, an excellent administrator. She manages the staff, interacts wonderfully well with the students, and actively engages with the parents. The school also organizes many events (halloween parade, annual day, PJs day..) which is fun for both kids and parents (if you like being part of the activities). They have partnered with Amazing Athletes so it's easy to get the kids interested in many sporting endeavors. The school also has lunch meals provided through a partner service but I did not opt for it - I liked sending lunch with my kid. On the whole, one of the best places to keep your child healthy and safe. True value for your money!

Ms Shrivani and Ms Rose (Room 10 teachers) are absolutely incredible. They taught my daughter so much from math, spelling, science, history etc. I felt like they really prepared her for Kindergarten. Our son adjusted well after a couple weeks and we started to see a great improvement socially and academically and his feelings about school completely changed as well. He was half day initially, but we decided to extend after he was potty trained. He grew to love going to school and eventually during pick up, he'd hide behind his fingers which he explained "I was hiding because I want to stay at school". All the teachers have been fantastic! My eldest's first teacher was Mrs. Fang and I thought she was the best teacher possible, so patient and caring, and taught the kids so much. However, I later realized that all their teachers are very good! I was a little worried initially when I found out my younger kid's first teacher wouldn't be in Mrs. Fang's class but again was pleasantly surprised that Mrs. Celia and Mrs. Gul are just as great and he has adapted incredibly fast. The teachers really care for the kids and have immense patience too. He isn't potty trained now, but I imagine like for my eldest, the teachers at Little Tree will train him before he's 3. I remember dreading doing potty training and by the time I thought about starting, turns out they had been practicing at school already so I didn't have to put in any effort. Academics wise I have been incredibly impressed too. They learn a lot of Chinese language and cultural things including poems which I can barely understand. For English, I tried to teach my kid the ABCs and reading the BOB books but over the years I have learned I don't have to do much actually since school has prepares them well. After just 2.5 months I can see my 2 year old has grown a lot and can sing the ABCs, learned to clean up, and communicates much better. My eldest in TK age can really well and even reads me stories now. One of her classmates that changed schools a few months back told me that the new school is not nearly as advanced and didn't realize how much our kids had learned there. When my eldest started transitioning to the next class, I really appreciated how the teachers would take her over to the new class and let her check out the place for 1-2 weeks before the transfer so she can get familiar slowly. The teachers also check that the kids are actually ready to be moved up both emotionally and academically. This was in contrast from my friend's preschool when they would just move kids once they were at the age, and her kid ended up adjusting very well and couldn't catch up with the older kids. We had several transitions and each time very smooth. I also like how the school really celebrates all the holidays and puts on great shows throughout the year, with the Christmas holiday performance being one of the biggest ones. I love watching the kids sing and dance in both English and Chinese. Lastly, the director Mrs. Amanda and teachers are all very cautious with the kids. I get notified if my kids have some scratches or bruises even if they were there in the morning when they got to school. If they fall or bump themselves, they will also tell me. One time my kid got a little pebble up her nose and they were very worried, calling me that they were trying to get her to sneeze it out or else I would need to take her to the doctors. I trust Little tree to take care of my kids well. I know I wrote a bit of a long essay but I just have a lot of positive things to say about them. Overall, highly recommend sending your kids here! I don't believe you will regret the decision.

My second son Jacob is growing fast and I will definitely consider placing him in Little Tree at Cupertino again for pre-K. I don't recommend any parents send their infant to this provider because of two reasons: 1. The infant room is SUPER noisy, and teachers let infants cry. I don't know why but it's always very noisy no matter what time I visit. Sometimes teachers are so busy and let multiple kids cry for a long time. My son usually doesn't cry at home and all nannies say he is a very calm boy, but after the first day in this daycare, he cried too much and lost his voice when he was back home. 2. It's not a good environment to take naps. Crib area is next to activity area so the napping area is also noisy. My son usually has 1.5 hour long nap at home. I understand it might be different in daycare, but he never took a nap longer than 30mins there, and every night he looks exausted back home. I do appreciate teachers' hard work because taking care of infants is not easy. I also like how easy to go outside from the infant room. However, compare to some other providers, this is not an ideal choice for infants. Hope this review can be helpful for some new parents, especially if you are considering Broght Horizons, I suggest to take tours in other locations so you will have better ideas.

CWBM has been like a second home for my children. Just a few of the many things I love about the school: 1) The school itself is a true Montessori school. CWBM is observed by an Association Montessori International (AMI) representative yearly and continues to be recognized as a member of the Association Montessori International. 2) The school itself is so clean and bright inside. This was one of the main reasons I chose CWBM for my children. The children are also taught to help keep the school tidy and neat. 3) The teachers are loving and attentive. On the weekends when he is not in school, my son has often called out his teachers' names while trying to call out to me (his mother). This is just a small indicator of how fond my son was of his teachers. 4) My children were happy in school while learning math, how to read, participating in singing, soccer, dancing, class. 5) Chinese culture and language was introduced during school, which I appreciated, especially living in this global society. 6) I think what I really appreciated most recently with covid, is the precautions that are taken to keep the children and teachers safe. From the very beginning of the pandemic, I felt safe sending my kids to school here and I was on the paranoid side (my kids were one of the first to comfortably wear masks during the pandemic). My children and I will always think of our time at CWBM fondly and continue to recommend this preschool to others. Thank you CWBM!

It's a place that our children are excited to go everyday (or almost everyday, haha). The welcoming environment is palpable from the moment the teachers open the door at drop off. It's not uncommon for the other children to happily run over and greet ours as they arrive, and it warms my heart to see them all gleefully toodle off together to go play. I have to give a lot of credit to the teachers for this: our son was quite shy at first, but the Apple Land teachers gave him a lot of support that helped build his confidence and strengthen his social connections with his peers. Besides offering a kind, friendly community, Apple Land does an excellent job educating their young students. We've noticed consistent growth in our children's reading and math skills since attending the school. My wife and I used to be able to sneakily spell words out loud if we wanted to obfuscate our conversations, but realized that strategy wasn't going to work anymore when our son started asking questions like "why did you just spell the word 'cake?'" Thanks a lot, Apple Land! I also appreciate that the learning isn't just focused on "the basics." Our kids love building, and there's plenty of opportunity to explore that as well. A recent favorite has been building electrical circuits with age-appropriate kits. I think it's so cool that the students here get exposure to these concepts at such a young age! Overall, I can't say enough great things about Apple Land! The low student-teacher ratio means that the teachers can nurture, support, and challenge each student in an individualized way. It also means they can take the time to interact a lot with the parents, providing frequent updates on how things are going at the school and coordinating with parents to ensure consistent approaches between home and school (e.g. "Is there something you say or do at home to help [child] when they're feeling [emotion]?" "[Child] seems to respond well to [technique], maybe it could help at home too?") I am so thankful that we found this place, and I know our children will benefit from their Apple Land foundation for the rest of their lives.

We truly could not be happier with the care, attention, and education they are receiving. The teachers (Ivan, Sherry, Mary, and others) are exceptional. They provide thoughtful, individualized attention, and we've seen both of our children truly blossom under their care. Our son is quite advanced in math and reading, and it's clear he's learning a great deal and being appropriately challenged. Just as important, the learning environment is supportive and joyful. He loves going to school and never feels bored or pressured. The curriculum is very hands-on and experiential, which we believe is ideal for young children, rather than relying heavily on desk work or worksheets. The small student-to-teacher ratio allows the teachers to really know each child and support them in reaching their full potential. We've noticed that many of the children at Apple Land are quite advanced academically as well. Although our daughter is much younger, she is already demonstrating strong familiarity with numbers, letters, and more. Another aspect we deeply appreciate is how collaborative and communicative the teachers are with parents. We receive detailed updates at pick-up every day, and when situations arise that present learning opportunities (such as challenges with sharing, name-calling, or other social interactions) the teachers communicate clearly about what happened and offer thoughtful guidance on how to reinforce those lessons at home. We truly feel like we're working as a team to support our children's social-emotional development, not just their academics. Our kids also love the enriching experiences Apple Land provides, including field trips on the school bus, music class, gymnastics, and more. They enjoy plenty of outdoor play, time with the animals and garden, and a wide variety of engaging activities. The teachers foster a warm, close-knit environment, and we're grateful that our children have built such wonderful friendships. Finally, the school providing up to three meals a day (breakfast, lunch, and an early dinner) is a huge plus for busy parents and makes daily life so much easier. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found Apple Land and highly recommend it to any family looking for a nurturing, engaging, and thoughtfully run preschool/daycare.

From the moment you step through the doors, you feel the warmth and genuine care. This is more than a school, it is a community where friends recommend friends, parents send siblings, and kids return to say hi. Ms. Cindy, the director, sets the culture of caring and action - keeping track of everything that's going on, knows every student, parent, and grandparent. Ms. Ching-wen, the admin, is incredibly responsible and on top of things, and always kind and supportive to parents. The teachers and staff are dedicated and caring - they encourage kids to develop good habits and become more independent, structure classrooms to optimize learning, and closely monitor playground dynamics. My daughter graduated from all 4 classrooms and loved all her teachers, growing especially close to her Room 3 teachers this past year. One of the nice things is there is a sense of continuity even as the kids move classrooms since the teachers are still around and say hi and hug the kids, which is heart-warming. The breadth and depth of information the kids learn is impressive. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that much of what is taught in Growing Tree is covered in public kindergarten. One of things I really liked was that while Growing Tree is academic, it is also fun and well-rounded. There were many times I wished I could go. Every holiday is celebrated with great fanfare, there are themed weeks where kids dress up and bring books/toys from home, community speakers like local law enforcement & firefighters (yes they bring the truck), cooking activities, lots of crafts, and bounce houses & popsicles in the summer. The parents are also very involved and giving - relationships with other parents form quickly if you socialize. Growing Tree also has class events / performances where you may be coincidentally seated next to your child's friends' parents. Looking back at old photos, I appreciate all the ways they are so thoughtful. They frequently share photos and videos of school events and pictures of your child so you are up-to-date on what's going on. I also really appreciate how the communication channel was always open between parents and teachers / staff. If you have a question or concern, you can just ask at the next drop-off or pick-up. Teachers / staff will let you know if anything comes up. It's kind of amazing with so many kids but they really do know what's going on with every child. Wanted to shoutout all of the wonderful teachers and staff that make Growing Tree what it is. There are so many people and we will miss seeing you every day. Thank you for all your hard-work and genuine love for the kids. You have been a safe space for us to entrust our daughter and know she is happy and well-cared-for. Highly recommend anyone searching for a preschool to tour this Growing Tree (Prospect intersection location).

Gives me a good pulse on their day to day activities. Ms. Cindy, the principal is hands on. I see her daily zipping between classrooms, dancing and celebrating with them on holidays. Her enthusiasm is infectious through the program staff. Ms. April and Chin-Wen at the front always greet everybody with a warm smile and kind words. The Chinese-English environment has been wonderful - though we don't speak Chinese at home, our little one has started saying Chinese words, counting, and singing their letter sounds ABC songs! We've seen remarkable growth in social skills and overall happiness. I also like their outdoor spaces and bikes/shopping cards/cars. We noticed several families that have sent multiple kids and cousins through the program which speaks to the quality and stability of the program at least in recent years.
