The place is really well maintained, and the view from the patio is beautiful. There were a few celebrations going on, with food and wine. I believe the food was brought in from outside since I didn't see any food service at the winery. This is definitely a nice venue to gather some friends, bring some food, and enjoy their wine.

From the moment we rolled in, we relaxed our breath into the cradling caring arms of Cyndi's Snowline Lodge. Natural darkness descending around us- Robert was quick to invite us into the warmly lit communal lodge area, which was brimming with personality. He showed us a fun silverware balancing bar trick, while Lucky the dog, looked on with heavy lidded amusement. We were the only ones staying at the lodge that night. Our room was darling and clean and smelled fresh. The wi-fi was working well. We slept unbelievably well. Showering was a dream in the morning with strong hot water pressure. Cindi brought us up fresh squeezed orange juice and invited us down for a hot lovingly made breakfast spread - which included hot waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, and light potatoes. We also indulged in wondrous coffee and an impressive selection of tea. Cindy even had Pink Himalayan Salt on hand for us to adorn our food - which we indulged in both there and on our backpacking adventure. Cyndi and the rest of the loving folk who help run this charming lodge take immense care and pride in making sure that all those who stay here feel welcomed and taken care of. They go out of their way to make everyone's stay both memorable and comfortable. We can't wait to come back to Cyndi's Snowline Lodge. Trust.

Upon entering the room there was a huge stain on the nasty green carpet, someone else's shoe under our bed, thick dust on headboard and baseboards, insulation falling from ceiling in bathroom, dirty walls, hairs embedded in sheets, black mold in shower and pubic hair on bathroom floor. We immediately went downstairs to the desk and asked to check out the very next morning, we had to cut our trip short due to these horrific conditions of our room which meant a lot of travel time for us and us missing out on seeing the park. This lodge is located in a prime location with a beautiful river running right behind it. It's too bad they don't do some much needed renovations on the lodge rooms. The service at lodge restaurant was extremely slow but tasted decent. This place was a huge disappointment and I would give zero stars if possible.

On Labor Day, the sisters plan a trip to Sequoia National Park and reserve the Boyden Cavern. We…read moreneeded to arrive by 9:50 a.m., so we had to get up early and find out how to get there. Without a cell phone connection, there is no GPS connection. Make sure you have a full tank of gas and download the offline map first. We planned to meet at the King Canyon visitor center, but learned we needed to go to the Boyden Cavern visitor center instead. From the King Canyon Visitor Center to Boyden Cavern, it is another 45-minute drive on a windy route. Luckily, we arrived on time and checked in. While waiting, the views are stunning, and the tour lasts approximately 30 to 40 minutes. It's really nice inside the cave, the temperature within the cave is around 50 degrees, which feels cool and pleasant. When visiting Sequoia National Park, Boyden Cavern is a must-see attraction.

When we got to the site and our room,the Zinfandel suite, we put the code in and there was someone already in our room and in the bed. We parked a vehicle in the parking lot earlier and had called to confirm reservation and about leaving the car but no response from them so figured it was okay. The guy was related to the owner and ended up calling them about the screw up. He got the code for another room, the winemakers suite, so we ended up staying but was still freaked out that someone could get our new room code so we didn't sleep well. Noticeable amount of cockroaches were around too. Haven't heard anything from the owner about the mix up. No apology or anything.

You can catch the shuttle or if you're gung-ho you can hike to Lodgepole. We drove! One of the visits I went by myself to shower and have lunch. I was hoping to have ice cream too but I got full. I selected a ready made sandwich, side order of pasta salad and a bottled drink. I paid for my items at a self check out. It's also where you order your food. This is a very, very, very busy Market! Parking is no joke, have your patience. This parking area not only caters the the Market & Grill. The visitors museum is located next door and just outside the Market around the corner are coin operated showers! I have used these showers. There are about 6 shower stalls. In this same room are only two bathroom stalls. But just outside this room is a bathroom too. I've come to the restroom twice and they happened to be cleaning it at around the same time. Cleaning took around 20-25 mins. A line for the shower was forming behind me in the mean time. Back to the Market & Grill. My sandwich was good enough. It was better once I added condiments. The pasta salad was good enough too. A table luckily became available to sit at. I didn't want to sit outside in the heat after taking a shower. Adjacent to the Grill is the market part. Plenty of souvenirs of all kinds, camping accessories in case you forgot something. Ice is also available. A variety of snacks, drinks and even wine. Great place to grab a meal, shower or snacks.
