Located in Reedley, and set on a beautiful plum orchard, the country inn is a picturesque cottage surrounded by courtyards, gardens, paths, and litterally thousands of roses in every color imaginable. We had a variety of tacos with four different meats and homemade tortillas. The burrito was big and tasty. We also tried the excellent traditional goat soup that was filled with flavor. The goat soup is made with a variety of different meats including stomach lining so be aware. The salsas were fresh and they had a oily Japanese chili salsa that was unique and delicious. My only criticism would be that they don't make their own tortilla chips yet, relying on some bagged variety but I'll give them a pass for being new. I'm guessing that they will update that in the future when they start getting more business. All in all a nice surprise out in the country.

The new ownership responds to texts and concerns very quickly. This was a spur of the moment get away and I said to my wife let's call and see if Dee has room. The Cabin was available to we invited our younger son and his wife and kid to join us. Everything was perfect; road conditions were we good, tourists weren't a hassle and fortunately Western Divide Highway was OPENED for our return trip home...this time through Kernville. Everything about Mountain Top B&B was great. This winter brought lots and lots of snow, Dee's car was still buried and sustained body damage as a result. The Cabin easily accommodated our four adults plus a toddler. The Ponderosa Lodge (next door) offered up cocktails and grub and a fun crowd of mountain madness lovers. I promised Dee we would return very soon...and we will.

There was a great little deck with a table and chairs for eating breakfast and enjoying the view. The property had a great beach area with several nice spaces with canopies and chairs for guest to relax in. And plenty of space for all of the guests to enjoy . The River was clear and deep enough to swim in.. it was not very cold but was refreshing in the summer heat after a day spent up at the national parks. The room was wonderful . The kitchen was fully stocked with pots pans utensils , dishes, etc. the beds were comfortable there were plenty of blankets and towels etc. The host was very welcoming and responsive when we reached out with questions and there were instructions, request, and a lot of good suggestions for enjoying our stay provided in a paper that was left in the room.. I would definitely recommend the spot, I plan to come back to visit the Area again and couldn't imagine staying anywhere else

The beautiful surroundings and the inn had a charming, vintage, and cozy touch that made us excited to stay. The owner greeted us warmly, and we appreciated the hospitality after driving all day from San Diego. The room was beautifully decorated, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We were able to take an evening swim before settling down for the night. When we woke up, we had breakfast right outside our room in a lovely setup with a garden atmosphere. I appreciated that they accommodated my diet and were more than happy to substitute food options to make me feel welcome. My husband and I decided right then and there that we'd be back for another stay and hopefully a longer one. I'd definitely recommend this place for a nice getaway from the city to relax and unwind. They let us sit and get comfortable as well as check out their sweet grounds which included 5 vintage camper AirBNB units which we were able to check out while tasting....pretty cool. The wines we had were solid. 2 x white and 2 x red. We also opened up a bottle of Pinot Noir which was really good also! We got a bottle of Cab reserve to go which I'm sure by tasting the others will be awesome! Anyways a great experience from two awesome people! Check out Delilah Ridge (and stay there!) if you're checking out the parks. 5-stars!
