My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our evening. We have been in the area for six months now and went to their other store the grape tray. It's a great store closer to my home just to pick up a bottle of wine and talk to the delightful man that helped us, but he told us about vintage wines and we buzzed over there. The owner there was so informative, friendly, and sincere. Her volunteers were very knowledgeable and friendly. Great selection of wine all price ranges. Comfortable seating throughout the store. We look forward to bringing our friends that come to visit and catch up with our lives.

All of the staff went above and beyond to be super friendly and inviting. It felt like my husband and I were regulars the way the wait staff treated us. You could tell they treat every customer as if they're the only person in the winery, despite it being full. Every question we had was met with patience as they guided us on the best food and wine pairing. They also are super accommodating to pets, and were able to enjoy a nice meal with our pup. The food was all fresh and delicious. Everything tasted like it was made from the heart. My husband got the angel hair pasta with chicken, a favorite of his, and it did not disappoint! I got the brown butter sage gnocchi, made with fresh sage from their garden. We also enjoyed the meze board. My husband who does not like falafel was fighting with me for the last piece. For dessert I ate the rosemary shortbread with lemon curd. Just like with the sage the rosemary was also freshly picked from their garden. The shortbread was not too dry but also the perfect ratio of crispy on the outside and slightly moist on the inside - the exact way shortbread should be baked. I normally am picky with lemon desserts, but their lemon curd was also perfect - not too sweet and not too sour while still maintaining that fresh flavor. My biggest regret of our visit is not booking a room at their inn. We spent a couple of hours here and immediately felt right at home. I hope to come back one day for the full inn experience.

The person working in the tasting room was very knowledgeable about every single one of their wines. They made it super easy for us to arrange our caterer to come and serve all of our employees and have entertainment. Everything was seamless. Set up to take down everything was great. Usually when we have an event, there's always a couple of people that will complain about something. No one had any complaints after our event they loved everything. They loved the scenery, the location, how relaxing and inviting the venue was. Everything If you're thinking about having an event here you will be very satisfied.

I'm not a big wine fan so usually I'll do the slurp thing to taste the notes or take a sip or two and then pass my glass off to my husband, rather than dumping it. I've been to umpteen wineries around California, the US and internationally. This winery gives, hands down, the stingiest pours I've ever experienced. I could maybe get two sips out of a pour. And yet this tasting was $15 for 4 wines, but if you're a party of 6 or more, the fee for the same tasting goes up to $20 per person! Since when does pouring maybe a half ounce into more glasses warrant everyone in the party being charged $5 more bucks a piece? It feels stingy. I went to 4 wineries in the same weekend I visited Crū. J. Lohr in Paso charges $20 per person for 6 generous pours and a free pencil with herb seeds to plant at home. Eberle Winery in Paso does free tastings and yet have generous pours, free bottled water and a free tour of the underground storage facility. Quady in Madera charges $5 per person for a tasting and not only were the pours generous, we tried 7 wines, got to double back on our favorites before we ordered a half case. The server was nice and personable. I have no complaints about her. Overall it doesn't feel like a fun wine tasting experience when it seems like they're rationing their wine. While not the end of the world, there isn't much of a view for the outdoor patio because the tasting room patio is between the building and a fence with a road on the other side. If you're wanting to see vineyards while you sip, this isn't the spot for you. There was also a couple with a toddler at a table - with an iPad, playing a video outloud without headphones - while the parents were wine tasting inside, so just know that kids are allowed if that matters to you. They managed the setup of tables and chairs, comfortably accommodating over 200 guests under the canopy, plus a 20x20' stage we brought in from an outside vendor. Many attendees commented that it was the nicest memorial service they had ever attended. The grounds were beautiful and provided a perfect setting for socializing both before and after the service. Tony Kirk and his team were exceptionally helpful and responsive throughout the process. Planning a memorial service is inherently difficult and sad, but he made it significantly easier. I know my dad would have absolutely loved it. I highly recommend this venue (and their red wine was delicious!).

We had friends playing the live music so sat on the patio and ordered a bottle of their sparkling rose. It was a little on the sour side (not dry but actually a little sour), but not bad. My friends ordered the Primitivo and said it was more on the sweet side. Tasting here is only $10 if you prefer to taste several of their wines. The weather was beautiful, and we had a pleasant time on the patio. Sean was our host, and he was very attentive along with his wife who checked on us several times. Definitely a must try in the Fresno area if you have never been.
