There were two tastings, a "White and Rosé" and a "Red and White" both of which were really good, and then a few flights you could get. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The decor was pretty. There's a pizza place next door, and they are pretty quick with the food, which was nice! Food was pretty good and the menu was huge. Water was essentially unlimited because the pizza place offers it outside where you can fill up yourself. Very appreciated because I usually need a ton of water when I'm wine tasting. Love this spot! It's in such a convenient location and well placed walking distance from so many great restaurants and other wineries. It also is positioned to catch the best sunsets, amazing people watching, etc. They differentiate by having specials and features all the time. Whether it's a pizza pairing, chocolate pairing, or an all whites and rose, they really work to keep an amazing lineup and menu. The tasting room is beautiful, and they have a lovely shared patio where you can enjoy food from the restaurant next door. The staff is also lovely! Gwen, Emma, and Kristina are all fabulous- super knowledgeable, helpful, kind, and just amazing people. It's no wonder this place is so well known and respected in the area! The pizza place in the plaza was closed due to a fire. Love this wine tasting room tucked into the Hollywood area of Woodinville. I arrived for a tasting on a busy week night (I was surprised but happy to see it busy for them on a week night). They were happy to accommodate me, immediately serving a sparkling Blanc and talked me through the wine tasting menus. I opted for the white and red menu and was not disappointed. All of the wines have a flavor profile that will suit everyone. The tasting price was reasonable for the area too. After a while my partner arrived and we were able to order pizza from Vivi Pizzeria next door and they brought the food to us from the restaurant. What a great idea, it made our experience even better. The staff member serving us was such a gentleman, and that made all the difference too. We visited the Hollywood Hill location on Saturday, Dec 20th and had a lovely experience. Christina welcomed us with a delicious glass of welcome bubbly along with her warm and cheerful personality. That set the stage for an afternoon of great times and great wines! It was a perfect kick off to a week of fun festive family time with my parents, brother and husband. We bought some of our fave bottles to serve with Christmas dinner! Our first winery tasting in Washington while on vacation was a delight. We sampled the sparkling wines, and the red and white flight. Lindsey was very informative about the company, and the wines. She talked to us about the benefits of being wine club members, and as we were sitting there a club member walked in and ordered wine. Lindsey had just given us a sample of the Tempranillo, and we shared that we loved it with the member and she ended up ordering that as well. 3.5 overall. We two made lunch reservations on a summer Friday for the pay-in-advance "Vivi Pizzeria Experience". This consisted of a seven-wine flight and a pizza from the next-door restaurant. It was a pleasant, worthwhile experience. Parking had been thankfully expanded since our previous visit. WINE: 3.0. All the wines in the flight were fine. Separately we ordered a glass of white dessert wine, which met expectations of sweet and strong. PIZZA: 4.0. The pizza that came with the Vivi Pizzeria Experience was pre-defined (other than being able to choose a gluten-free version). The Patterson website said it would be "Tanina", but when one clicked through to order a different pizza was named; when we arrived the paper tasting descriptions stated "Tanina". What we received was not "Tanina", BUT fortuitously excellent. It appeared to be vegetarian with balsamic oil, fruit (maybe fig?), and a blue-like cheese. It was very good, with a nice crisped medium crust. SERVICE: 4.0. Though it became busy, we never felt forgotten. One hiccup was when we arrived for our pre-paid reservation. No one was seated inside other than a man in one corner with a laptop and earbuds engaged in a loud virtual business meeting. The waiter indicated we should sit at the table between this man and the bathroom. When we objected, he seated us at primo seats that looked out though a large open window. read more

The wines are always solid here, as they have a range of different kinds of wines, including sparkling ones, with tasting rooms throughout Washington state. You've likely had Patterson Cellars wine because it's a popular winery. At this Woodinville location in the Hollywood Hill district, it is conveniently located where all the action is, around other tasting rooms and restaurants. I've been here a few times, and it's been a nice experience each time. There is parking in the shared lot that, but get here early! In my most recent visit here, we took my parents here while they were in town, so we made a reservation for a Friday, which I highly recommend doing. The place was busy, even on a Friday afternoon. That's another reason why I like Patterson Cellars' Hollywood location, is that it's open daily, starting at noon, unlike other wineries in Woodinville which have limited hours. You can always get yo' wine on, no matter the day or time. No judgments here! We started with a sparkling blanc, which was nice. The sparkling ones are all nice here. My favorite of the wines though is the cab sauv-malbec 50/50 blend, which is the perfect kind of wine with a steak or a burger. All of the wines are reasonably priced, too. It's always a fun time at Patterson Cellars, no matter which location you visit. They do have a second Woodinville location in the Warehouse District, one in Seattle's SODO neighborhood and even in the heart of Leavenworth. Great outdoor seating in the summer. We started with a Rose and had a Red eventually. The best part is you can order food from Vivi Pizzeria next door. They have walk-in only tastings or you can reserve a food and wine tasting experience. My favorite time to go is during the golden hour on summer evenings, when you can bask in the sun on their patio, sipping on a cold rose, taking in the beautiful valley around you and listen to cling-clang of wine glasses. Had a great time trying a tasting from Patterson Cellars! You can choose from a red or white wine menu and you get 6-1oz pours for $20 that will get waived if you buy a bottle later. Flights are different as they are 3-3oz pours. The servers were knowledgeable and flexible accommodating tastes. They were also very gracious in handling accidental spills and our walk in. We went Saturday afternoon and it was busy but they were still able to accommodate us. Parking is the limiting feature but it's fine if you're willing to walk. A plus is that you can order from the Italian place next door that has a pretty great menu and eat while your drink. Great for casual sips and plenty of family friendly vibes. read more

Great wine tasting experience at Patterson Cellars! I love that when you buy a bottle, you can rip off the tab on the back to get a free wine tasting. We had one saved from the last time we visited (bought a bottle because we didn't make it to their 5 PM tasting time cutoff) and another one saved from a bottle we picked up at Costco. I love that I can find these local Woodinville wineries represented at Costco! My friend and I each got a white tasting and my husband got a red tasting. The pours are pretty generous and more importantly, the quantity in their tasting is very impressive. I also loved that I got to pick a tasting of whatever wine I wanted! I haven't been to many wineries (I know it's sad!), but this is one that I always come back too! The location is great as right across the way you have many options for food. Whenever I've come, it's normally after I've eaten at the Purple Cafe. The staff are always welcoming and make you feel right at home. My go to is the Syrah, but their rosé is amazing as well especially for this beautiful weather we've been having! They're very generous with their pouring and have deals on Monday's for their white wines. I will say the only two big issues I have is the parking is very limited and they try to push their wine club on you. Regardless, if you're looking to just relax and enjoy a lovely glass of wine on a nice Seattle day, this a great place to try! read more

I find that all their wines are more on the sweeter side, which I enjoy, but others may not like as much (just a preference thing). Parking: there is a small lot right in front of Patterson's which is free and then there are larger lots a short walk down the road which sometimes have event fees (just depends what's going on). Went to visit Patterson Cellars for their Cheese Experience. For $25/person, you get a huge cheese, fruit, crackers, and nuts board and 5 glasses of wine to pair with the different cheese and fruit. I was expecting a couple of cubes of cheese to have with tasting pours of wine. But to my surprise, the cheese board was huge, with a really nice variety of fresh and dried fruit, 3 really great types of cheeses, nuts, crackers, jam, and crispy crostini. The amount of wine you get is actually standard pours and not tasting pours, which I thought was really awesome and super generous. They also provide you with an informational sheet of each of the wines as well as a map that shows where they harvest their grapes. If you're interested in doing a "self-guided" wine tasting so you can enjoy at your leisure with friends, I highly recommend visiting Patterson Cellars and sign up for the Cheese Experience. read more

They have the seating inside ( behind the reception) with a tv for you to watch sports if you want or sit in the main reception to enjoy the sun thru the window.
