Delicious chili dog! Too big for the bun
    Candice M.

The hot dogs were amazing! I was lucky to run into them at a local brewery and was so impressed. For being a little pop up tent the food was so delicious! I got the chili dog which was sooo good. Chili was well flavored and the hot dog was even bigger than the bun! Good portions. The food was well priced and the owner was so friendly and happy to be doing what he was. Highly recommend them!

The couple that runs Delish Dogs are very sweet & kind and overall while their menu selections are plentiful, I do wish they read their Yelp reviews, as there have been some good suggestions and I have a few more... They should toast their buns, or at least warm them up. A cold hot dog bun detracts from the overall taste and experience of the food I feel. And it's such a simple thing to do. They don't have any bacon-wrapped dogs - a huge oversight in my opinion. If they did, I would get that every time. It also introduces the option of offering a Sonoran dog, which I believe is one of the best kinds of hot dogs there is. They do allow you to add any toppings they have which is great. The chili, in my opinion, could be better. A little salt goes a long way. I would even suggest adding Wolf Brand or Hormel's beanless chili as an option. They do offer nachos, which are impressive. The Chicago dog is a much better version that the one I had at Portillo's in Chicago (which was terrible)...so they got that one spot on. The Spicy Dog is good, and really not that spicy. I added both kinds of hot peppers they had and it still wasn't that spicy. That being said, I've had their jalapenos before and they were super HOT so consistency could be better achieved. The sausage was also shorter than the bun, so on both ends there's a lot of extra bread. Longer sausages would be great. They have pagers now which buzz when your order is ready. This is great especially on busy nights where they can't yell over the crowd. I think with a few easy improvements Delish Dogs could be five stars

Delish Dogs makes some good hot dogs and they frequent local breweries so you are bound to run into them if you like to check out what's on tap. I had the friendly couple make me a Chicago Dog with all beef tube steak and every thing on it including the chili peppers. If I remember correctly the dog cost $4-5 dollars. One thing I liked about the all beef dog was the manner in which they prepared it. They gave it a nice sear via the griddle which not only gave in better flavor but a welcoming crispy texture on the the hot dog's exterior. All the ingredients that accompany the Chicago Dog were great and I was very fond of the pickles and peppers. They put just enough celery salt as well. One thing I would suggest is that they warm up their buns somehow to give them that warm soft moist texture. My bun was cold which gave it a bit of a dry texture and it split at the seams as I was eating it. They let you modify your hot dogs. For instance, I exchanged the regular mustard for the deli mustard because I am a rebel! The couple who run the food stand are very nice and welcoming.

There's this little Farmer's Market I've been slowly making my way through over the last several months. I'd always made a point eventually come to Delish Dogs, but there always seemed to be another food stand opening up that caught my eye before stopping here to order. Well, a few weeks ago, I finally took the chance and ordered up a Polish Sausage. And it wasn't bad. First off, the bun was a perfect choice. Lightly sweet, large to hold everything they slather on, and firm enough that it didn't break under the weight of the meat and condiments. And those condiments, great proportions to everything else to ensure that they don't overwhelm anything. As for the meat itself, it had a nice sear to the exterior casing, but the meat was very soft and lacking in the lightly salted, rich flavor I was hoping for. It wasn't bad, far from it, it was just a bit ... average. I think this may stem from my misguided expectations of a specific style of "Polish Sausage" (something very firm with subtle spice and a bit of heat on the backend is what I'm used to) while that term can mean any one of many upon many different styles and flavors. It's one thing to order a Chicago Dog and be grouchy that it's missing the pickle, but another thing to fault Delish Dog for not having the one type of Polish Sausage I'm used to. It also doesn't help that I've had the fare over at Dog Haus in San Diego. Anyway, the price isn't too bad, especially for a food truck; I remember only paying about $4.50 for my meal with the only upcharge being the deli mustard they topped off my dog with. And the couple behind the counter were delightful; fun to chat with for a few minutes while everything was prepared. I'm sure I'll be back eventually, if only to try a Chili Dog or maybe one of those Pineapple Express which really captures the imagination from the menu. With the cost and convenience of it being nearby my office, it's easy to want to come by and try again.

Ok ran into these guys at dinner and a concert in el cajon. Great dogs and an awesome pretzel

This giant pretzel goes great with any beer. Plenty to share.

Love running into these guys at our favorite breweries. Their giant pretzels are amazing, plenty for two. We also had a chicken dog this time. They sprinkled it with shredded cheese and it was so good. Prices are so cheap compared to food trucks. For the giant pretzel they always make a cheese mix with a local beer from the brewery which are yummy.

I had a question regarding the chicken and so I reached on the website and was provided a prompt response. I placed my order for pick up 2 days later. They do offer delivery if local as well. I ordered a half order of brisket (point); 2lbs of pork belly; and 2lbs of chicken. Total was about $150. We had a party of 4 adults and 3 picky kids. Upon pick up the order was quick and easy. It was actually ready before our scheduled pick up time! (Email was sent with estimated time.) The food was still hot when we started to dig in 30 mins later. The brisket came whole so we had to cut it. Pork belly came in large bite sized pieces. Chicken came chopped per my request. Everything was sooo delicious, juicy, and flavorful. I'm not too keen on smoke flavored or dry brisket but Jim's totally changed my mind! Blew all of us away. For a party of 4 adults, this would last us 3 meals. We couldn't stop raving about it afterwards!!! My personal fave is the pork belly. The sauce was sweet, tangy, and had a bite. I couldn't get enough! Brisket was fatty but I love fattier pieces of meat. The chicken looked dry but it was tender and full of flavor! I was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely order again from Jim's! Very satisfied and highly recommended! B

LOL I really liked how easy the waitlist process was. You show up, scan the QR code, add your name, number of people in your party, and get updates while you wait. Super simple and convenient. The owner, Syed Afzal, was up front checking on things while guests were being seated and to-go orders were flying out the door. He was incredibly pleasant and took the time to chat with me about the most popular items, especially for a busy Friday night after 10pm. He went over the top sellers, the most unique dishes, and he even shared a funny story about a couple who had apparently gotten into an argument/fight a few weeks back over a reserved table. LOL He also mentioned the other restaurants he and his partners have opened throughout NorCal and SoCal. Such a cool, welcoming guy, and you can tell there's a lot of pride behind what they're building and they love what they do. Now let's talk about the food and the atmosphere. Everything came out hot, fresh, and beautifully plated. The whole restaurant had such great energy, with so many guests clearly enjoying their food just as much as I was, and some were celebrating something special by the way they were dressed. I had the goat dum biryani, and while it was packed with flavor, it eventually got a little too spicy for me, even with plenty of raita on top. So I happily took the rest home for a visiting sibling who loves spicy food. The chicken malai kebab, though? Absolutely to die for. Tender, flavorful, and easily something I would order again and again. The service was top-notch and the staff always came with a smile. Multiple people checked on me throughout the meal, and the entire restaurant ran like a well-oiled machine. I can't wait to come back with a big group so we can order a ton of different dishes and try even more of the menu. This place is popular for a reason. Couldn't be happier!

For $23.99, I expected a more generous portion than the relatively small amount I received. The lamb itself was dry and crumbly, which made the price even harder to justify. With what they're charging, I expected better quality and more reasonable portions. The tandoori chicken looked flavorful but was surprisingly bland. The chicken biryani and chicken 65 were the highlights of the order. But overall, the experience did not live up to what I remembered from this place.
