I was told (and saw on the reviews) that the food was not up to par, but I wasn't that let down by the food either. Sure it wasn't spectacular, but I thought it was passable. The food was a basic Christmas meal. Soup Appetizer, Turkey, Ham, Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy and also Mac and Cheese. I thought the Turkey, Green Beans and Potatoes were the best part. The hour and 15 minute show started with a bang with a floating violinist and closed with a live Nativity. Singers and Dancers were all very talented. My favorite part (or song) was the 12 Days of Christmas mash up. That was really clever. Maybe, if I did have a let down it would be the price of the drinks... that was pretty outrageous. A specialty drink and an old fashion was about $50. And my wife's drink wasn't even very good. But she got to keep the plastic boot glass it came it! (Eye Roll) I highly recommend this show. Really brought the Christmas spirit! Well worth the price and a fun Holliday treat. Skip the drinks, but enjoy the show!

The Turkey was dry, the gravy salty, the ham was not recognizable as ham (both in color and flavor), and though the Mac and cheese was the best of the options, it was so gummy it stuck to the roofs of our mouths like a communion wafer! It was awful. The good thing, it was served warm. For dessert we could pick pie or brownie. We got the brownie and didn't finish it. It was like dead weight, almost like they forgot an ingredient. We also did try 2 of their specialty drinks. They did taste good. The price however at $17/hr was not worth it. Almost $40 for 2 drinks! Nothing about this experience was "Merry"!

In no time at all she brought out 5 fish fries that were hot and fresh and some really good coleslaw too boot.The batter was crispy and the cod inside really had a great flavor(sometimes not the case) and breadsticks instead of the traditional rye bread,a pleasant change. Daylene's still was being built when we were researching so we came upon this place. Reviews good, ambiance looked great so we made a reservation months in advance for 7/4/26. I had called the establishment in advance and spoke to the manager because I wanted to surprise hubby and pay for the bill. Last year, our anniversary ended on a bad note because I got sick in Miami and had to go to the hospital. We get there and are seated. It was a full house! It was loud in there and mostly everyone there was dressed casual except us. We were dressed up in a cocktail dress and suit because it was our anniversary. Lucky was our server and he was attentive and nice. We started out with drinks. I had the strawberry shortcake which I was excited about but ended up being disappointed - the majority of the drink was whipped cream. The liqueur used didn't make it seem like a fresh strawberry taste, tasted fake - for $17 it should of been better. I then ordered the clam chowder. They have two sizes $6 and $10. I was not asked which size I wanted and when they brought it out, it was this big bowl which I find out later was the $10 size (I should of been asked which size, not cool)! I had to send it back because it wasn't hot. I took most of it home, it was good especially heating it up the next day, the flavors really settled in. The food was brought out quickly - even before the clam chowder was brought back. I had the twin lobster tails (market price, $76) and hubby had the ribeye steak ($59) with the mushrooms and onions which is an $5 upcharge but that wasn't explained to him when ordering. My side was the garlic mashed potatoes and his was the creamed spinach. One of the lobster tails was too salty - they put way too much seasoning on the top of the tails. The other lobster tail was better. The potatoes were meh. I'm not really a creamed spinach fan but theirs was really good - the cream sauce was very flavorful. Hubby enjoyed his steak and had enough to take home. They brought out a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. It looked nice. We didn't enjoy the dessert but they acknowledged our anniversary so we were appreciative of that. When it was time for the bill, Lucky just laid it in my lap with no explanation. Hubby was confused. That wasn't the agreement I had with the manager. The bill was supposed to be put on the table and us being told that the bill has been taken care of. So I had to explain to hubby what was going on. A bit disappointing. Lucky told us a fireworks show was behind the restaurant so we stayed to enjoy that. I wouldn't recommend this to couples who want to get dressed up for a night out. I guess because it's a water park environment, people don't feel the need to have to get dressed up for a fine dining experience. Overall, it was okay. Thanks Double Cut Steakhouse.

Stopped at this stylish bar/restaurant last night with three friends after attending an art opening…read moredown the street. Took a while to get seated, as the attendant seemed to be busy carrying out plates of food and making drinks at the end of the bar. After getting seated, we ordered drinks and three entrees (two specialty salads, a pasta meal, and a burger). The drinks came relatively fast, but the service on the food was incredibly slow. Well over an hour's wait. At one point I guessed, "They must be growing lettuce for the salad." Food arrived, but incorrectly prepared on one of the salads. The server offered "I specifically told them dressing on the side...I can bring it back and get it made over." We had already waited well over an hour, so we just took it as it was fearing an even longer delay. Actually, three of the meals were quite good (except for the overpriced and totally unremarkable burger), but I doubt any of us will return after the sluggish service. It was such a lengthy wait for the food and the server was so harried and overworked that ordering desserts was not offered. We had to get up and walk in search of a way to pay our bill. Good food, but that does not in itself make for a great dining experience.
